"I was speaking with Charlotte and Laura some time ago." AEanna continued in a casual tone. However, she laid her right hand gently on the hilt of her dagger while choosing an ice shard spell if she had to fight. Surely Tophat would react, and she didn't know how he would choose to deal with the situation.

EDIT: Never mind, I misread my watch. >_< I don't have to go anywhere for an hour.

 

[Kirke]

"Oh?"
Tophat noticed the motion, but decided that it could react quickly enough without preparing now.

 

[Random berk]

AEanna began to get frustrated with Tophat's refusal to come out with the truth.
"Damn it, stop being so impassive!" She snapped, getting to her feet and staring at Tophat across the space between them. "They told me what really happened in Stockholm, that it was you who set that device!" She hissed, trying to keep quiet to avoid waking anyone else.

 

[Kirke]

"The bitter truth has finally come out..."
It sighed.

 

[Random berk]

AEanna continued to glare at him.
"Why, Tophat? What could possibly have driven you to do such a thing?"

"I lost control."
It looks down, and seems to be ashamed.

Jonah was flipping through a tome by the ship. Tarkus was patrolling with the other Marines.

"'You lost control'? What does that mean? How does one lose control to the extent that they can blow up a city full of inncoent people?!"

OOC: I have an Ecology end of year party, so I'll likely miss it as well.

"I do." AEanna acknowledged, her glare still fixed on Tophat.

"When I absorbed him, I also absorbed his wishes. I did not realize the danger of that."

"And your owner wished to kill everyone in Stockholm?!"

Diane walks around the cityscape. She watched as the city seemed to rejuvinate.
"I wonder who's doing this..."
She spot the marines, and walked up to them.
"Hey! Found another Subtle knife, so can we trade? I can give you another one in return."

Ferdinand sat in his office, restoring the backup of Las Vegas.

Doctor Com slowly got up, and walked around.

"Yes, he didn't wish it strongly enough to actually do it. His feelings, of right and wrong, stopped him. I do not have such restrictions."

AEanna ran a hand through her hair, unsure of what to do with this revelation.
"I... I confess that I cannot reconcile these actions with the same person who has been our friend and ally for so long now. You have always been good to us, assisted us when we needed you,and althoug I am sure at times we must have annoyed you, you never chose to harm us. Even when Conall was threatening Four, you refrained from harming him too severely, simply because we asked you not to. Surely you must have at least understood our reasons for asking that, because you did not protest."

"Brother Sergeant, our mission nearly ends." Lysandros said. Tarkus kept walking alongside the two Marines. "Yes Lysandros...when the Litany of Fury is saved we shall have our victory. Jonah will destroy the daemon and Brother Captain Gabriel will decide what is to become of this world." Tarkus looks at Diane. "Very well, Jonah has your other knife and we will deposit the other one within the reliquiary when we return."

 

[Kirke]

"I know you liked him, that was the reason. I myself, as I later said to him, would not have doubted to kill him if he joined Joel."

 

[Wackymon]

Diane nodded, and walked off, thanking them. She found Joahn, and walked up to him.
"Hey, can I have my knife back? I can offer you one in return."

 

[Random berk]

"But... surely you must have learned something of morality since then? Even if you do not feel it as we do, you must at least be aware that killing people who have never knowingly harmed another person is wrong while someone like Conall... I almost killed him myself, in Ambrosia. Sometimes, if saving innocents means you must kill one who has proven themselves to be evil and immoral, then slaying them can be a good and righteous act. Does any of this make sense to you?"
