Hmmmm..... if Kefka's good at engineering like we know him, then he could have possibly had a system of unseen drones somewhere catch the signal like radio towers and transmit them else where, all the while sending a jamming signal in our direction to obscure the original transmission. If he knew we were coming, he could have set that up to confuse us and play with our heads. One of us had to have a radio on us. Turns out I was the only radio receiver."
