"As brazen as they have become, the vampires still retreat from the sun's rays, and the idea is that they will hopefully come to fear the Dawnguard as well."

"I don't want to bring up any memories that can hurt them. And I can tell, even from my short stint here, that this merry little band goes through a lot. Why are you trying to tear me up anyway? I think I've shown I'm not budging. Go ahead, hit me with your best."

"Huh. Well, that explaination made a lot more sense than the time when you explained why something was called a 'World Eater'." Erica said with a slight chuckle.
"Seriously though, I hope everything will turn out okay."

A dare is it? anger said, them chuckled. Thou shalt come to regret that, vermin.
Its voice faded from Makoto's mind, then it teleported infront of her.
"Challange accepted." It said, emitting its black aura as it did.

Grace woke up when she heard someone talking and started to get dressed.

AEanna laughed out loud at the memory of her attempt to describe the legend of Alduin, the rare sound not unlike some strange exotic birdsong.
"Perhaps I have become somewhat more eloquent in my maturity." She said, a wide smile lighting up her face. "And thank you. Tamriel has been through many times of crisis and survived, I think this time will be no different. Now, you know my latest story, what of yours? Why are we in this new place? How are the others?"

Makoto jumped a little as Anger appaered in front of her, then looked past Anger and saw Grace getting up. "Grace, get out of here quick!" She stood, settling into a fighting stance, and faced Anger.

Grace looked at Makoto and saw Regulus. She quickly fumbled for her knife.

 

[Chungus]

Erica mood sank a little at AEanna's question. She sighed and said, "Eh. We haven't been doing all too well, honestly.
It turns out my Rune is some sentient entity from Riou's world that'll turn me into a slave if I'm not careful.
As you may know, several enemies banded together. And Tophat was injured, and now he's seriously weakened.
As for why we're in this city, it appearently has been taken over by this Kefka.
So yeah..."

"I shalt break thee the same I did Noel. First, let us shatter this ilusion of strength. Thou shalt see, that compared to myself, thou posses none." Anger threateningly said to Makoto.
It pointed at Grace over its shoulder and fired an energy beam out of its finger.

Grace narrowly dodged the beam as she lunged at Regulus with her knife.

Tophat woke up once again.

"I'm warning you, I'm pretty damn strong!" Makoto rushed forward with a straight punch.

 

[Random berk]

AEanna slumped slightly, and her bright smile faded.
"Why do we so rarely have good news to tell? I know of the alliance between our enemies, but this rune... I suspected that little good would come of it. What of Tophat? How has he been injured? Do you mean the loss of his body, or something more?"

From his position at the ship's entrance, the sound of combat easily reached James's keen ears as he drew on a new cigarette, and he snapped his head around. Drawing his ever present G18C pistol, he darted inside and began to move swiftly but cautiously towards the source of the noise.

 

[Chungus]

Yeah. She had something to take care of back in her home.

"Eh. Good luck seems hard to come by here.
Tophat was shot by this Anger or Regulus or whatever his name is. And his body was lost earlier. You can ask him yourself." Erica said to AEanna as she picked Tophat up and held it out.
"You'd have to put him on your head. He's too weak to talk to you at a distance now."

Anger heard that its beam had hit metal rather then flesh. Taking this into acount, Anger turned around, almost in a pirouette-like fashion, dodging Makoto's punch and swiping at Grace with the claw it rested on its shoulder a moment ago in one fluid motion.

Grace used her knife to block Regulus' claw and sent a battier spike into it's head.

Makoto turned as her punch flew past Anger. She began charging, but stopped. The room was too small for her bigger, more powerful moves. She began pummeling Anger with a flurry of quick jabs.

 

[Random berk]

"Regulus. I might have guessed." AEanna scowled, as she accepted Tophat and placed him on her own head.
"Hello, Tophat." She said out loud so as not to exclude Erica. "I am sorry to hear that you have suffered so. Is there anything that I can do to help?" Her voice was soft, and concerned.

James moved through the corridor low and fast, his pistol aimed at the floor in front of him. He soon stopped beside the door of one of the rooms. Immediately he knew that the fight was in cramped quarters, and that there were more than two participants. Taking a deep breath, he steadied his nerves. Going in hot, there could be no missed shots.

"I see. What did Regulus do to you, to make you so weak?"

There was nothing Anger could do to avoid the barrier spike. "That hurt..."
Anger dryly remarked grabbed Grace by the arm in wish she held the knife and spinned her around to use her as a human shield against Makoto's punches.
It then teleported behind Makoto and fired a energy beam at her.
