Odile tilted her head as she tired to think of how to attack the WEAPON.

Katrina smiled and nodded at Crystal. "Alright. Let's try this!" Katrina fired an energy beam at the Sapphire WEAPON, aiming just below the face of it.

Phoenix was well above the tidal wave so she really didn't need to do anything. She fired submachine gun rounds into the face, seeing that the weakspot wasn't exposed yet.

Jania stopped launching fireballs when it had no effect. She couldn't pull off electrical attacks, not yet, so that left her very few options. She saw the wave coming in. Taking out a deimond, she absored the thermal energy in her staff, then change it to kinetic, and slammed the crystal against the ground, raising a stone wall. "Get behind this!"

@Nailik: Yay! Praise!

Flonne curiously looked back and saw the tidal wave. She panicked and picked up the pace, previously she was just matching Jean, now she was practically dragging Jean along as she ran away. She had only glanced back at the wave before starting to run, so she didn't notice that Crystal had already stopped it.

Etna peeked out from behind her tree and noticed the frozen tidal wave. She flew up into the air and headed towards the big monster in the sea. She took some time to make sure that she was in just the right place, right above it's head, and hovered there before making her next move.

 

[Furioso]

Raven ran inland, shouting "Damn, damn, damn, damn damn!" while doing so, since his head was turned, he didn't notice the wave freezing

"I see... would you like me to try and carry you away?" asked Mitsuru

Jean just tried to keep up with Flonne.

OoC: Crap, I just noticed the wave was frozen. Um... I would edit it, but I don't think there's actually much I can do in this fight.

I think I would die of humiliation if I said yes to that. "No... Just... lend me a arm for support." Terra-2 answered.

Sapphire WEAPON swam behind the frozen tidal wave for cover when Katrina fired her beam, but as large a target as it was, the beam still hit one of Sapphire's fins, leaving a small scorch mark.
Phoenix's submachine gun rounds all but bounced off the WEAPON's carapace.

Sapphire looked up and saw two of its targets were airborne. It raised its tail out of the water and fired a beam of super-heated plasma at them from it.
As it did this, it swam away from the frozen tidal wave with supprising speed and agility and fired another beam from its mouth, sweeping it in a wide arc, aiming to strike all those on land that way.

 

[Furioso]

Raven turned around, thinking he was safe from the tidal wave "Ok, I think I outran i-" he was hit by the beam, though it's impact was lessened from hitting the trees all around him, and was sent flying back several feet, where he skidded across the ground

Mitsuru nodded, and gave Terra-2 a supporting arm to carry her away from the WEAPON


OoC: @Drak, I hope this ends with Flonne getting the WEAPONS skin so she can do this

Phoenix boosted away from the beam of plasma as she boosted closer to Etna saying. "The area between its second dorsal fin and belly is weak!" Phoenix continued flying around, spreading the news.

Katrina's Darkness Dragon shield protected herself against the beam. Seeing nothing to do at the moment, Katrina was still in her defensive position.

Also, may sit the rest of this fight out. I can't really attack the WEAPON.

@Furio: We can only hope.

"I'll keep that in mi--WOAH!" Etna replied to Phoenix, getting cut off as she had to swiftly bank to avoid the beam of plasma, though it did scorch some of her leg as she barely avoided it, causing her to hiss in pain. "Alright, you asked for it." She had been taking her time in channeling energy into her spear, and once it was ready, she hurled it down at the base of the WEAPON's second dorsal fin. Once it hit, whether it pierced the beast or not, it would release a massive pulse of electricity.

Flonne, having spent some time fleeing, was well out of the way of possibly getting hit by the monster's beam attack. She figured she and Jean had gotten far enough away, as she could barely even see the shore anymore. She stopped and bent over, clasping her knees for support as she panted, trying to catch her breath.

Jean sat next to Flonne, panting herself. "We should...be safe...here..." she said as she sucked in air.

When Etna's spear struk Sapphire WEAPON where she aimed it and released its burst of electricity, the WEAPON wailed in pain. In retaliation, it sweeped another beam from its tail at Etna and Phoenix, and fired another one from its mouth at those on land, cutting deep fiffures where it hit. As it ddi this, some of its fins began glowing.

OoC: Actually... does anyone want me for anything after the WEAPON fight? If not, I may just come off now.

Phoenix boosted away from the beam, but it drain a fair amount of her shields. She smiled as her armor started bursting with little bits of flame. Taking out her Buster Rifle, she fired a quick shot at the WEAPON's weakspot. Between the second dorsal fin and its belly. Since it wasn't a charged shot, it really shouldn't hit Etna.

Katrina lifted some parts of the earth with the Elemental Dragon of Earth as it helped Crystal over to herself, but both were knocked backwards into the ground.

@Gear: I might be started alittle mini-boss thing with Sepulchure. Maybe, depends on how long this fight is.

OoC: Rolled some dice to determine how bad Raven got hurt

Raven was heavily wounded from the first beam, but managed to roll himself into a ditch to avoid the second beam, which went over him. From the ditch he injected himself with a healing arrow, stabilizing him

"You're welcome... Any idea why these things affect you so much?" Asked Mitsuru as she continued to help Terra-2 move away from the battle

OoC: @Gear I actually intend to do one thing to set up how the group will find Hojo, after this. Other than that, I have nothing else planned. Though I did toy with the idea of having Ultimate WEAPON appear over Jean and Flonne just to troll them.

"Hopefully..." Flonne agreed with Jean as she sat down as well. Once she finally caught her breath and wiped the sweat from her brow, she said, "I never thought something like that would be so scary in real life. Maybe that's just because I've only seen stuff like that in movies before."

"Haha! That'll teach you to--" Etna was cut off once again as she was hit directly by the plasma beam and knocked quite a bit up into the sky from it. "Oh that is it! I'm not taking that from a damn fish!" She shouted in between bouts of hissing at the burns that covered the front half of her body. She dove down as fast as she could and landed next to where her spear had embedded itself in the beast. Then she grabbed her spear and tore it out, twisting it a bit as she pulled it out to make it as painful as possible. Then she started rapidly jabbing her spear along the base of its dorsal fin. She of course waited until after Phoenix had fired to do any of this.
