Phoenix shot cracked the WEAPON's carapace slightly. Yellow-ish blood trickled from the wound.
Sapphire roared howled when Etna pulled out the spear and started stabbing it. In responce, it resubmerged and dived towards the bottom of the sea. The water preassure increasing as it dived.
Now royally pissed off, Sapphire unleashed the energy it had stored up in its fins and shot out a barrage of 200 beams at Phoenix as it dived. Though they where smaller then the beams it had been firing, the numbers of them made up for that.

"Ohhh, and I was hoping we could be friends with it..." Flonne said dejectedly as she looked down and started tracing patterns in the dirt with her fingertip.

Etna yanked out her spear and hopped off the WEAPON as soon as it went underwater, as the salt-water agitated her burn wounds something fierce. She flapped her wings and hovered just above the surface of the ocean and kept hissing in pain. She flew back to the shore to recuperate for a moment, giving the beams being fired at Phoenix as wide a berth as she could manage.

Jean patted Flonne on the head, smiling ruefully at her. "You can't be friends with everything..." she said.
A majority of the beams were absorbed by the shields, but once the shields were shattered, Phoenix took evasive action, but the beams did hit her exposed skin and wings she dropped alittle in altitude. However, Phoenix continued smiling. Giggling, she readied herself reloading the Buster Rifle and for any sudden movements for the Sapphire to rise again.

Katrina frowned alittle as the WEAPON dived into the water. At the moment, she just concentrated on building energy as did Crystal.
Raven limped out of the forest, seeing Phoenix and Etna injured, he fired his healing arrow into the air, which split into the, the first two targeting Etna and Phoenix, and the last targeting Raven healing him even more

Seeing Terra-2 move away, Mitsuru asked "Are we far enough away? Did the pain stop?"

"Yeah..." Terra-2 replied as she leaned against a tree. "That was draining though. I'm tired... In fact... I'll... [sub]I'll...[/sub]" she slumped over and fell asleep.

Sapphire WEAPON heard it's brethern call out to it. Though it wasn't best pleased with the fact it had to sieze its attempt to wipe the group out, it listened to the others and reluctantly began swimming towards them, never surfacing.

Even after Raven's arrow healed her, Etna was feeling a little worn out from the fight, so she flopped down onto the sand of the beach and took a few moments to catch her breath. She still stayed wary in case the monster resurfaced again though.

Phoenix frowned as the WEAPON didn't emerge. "Aww... And I was having fun..." she said disappointingly. She glided back down towards the group.

Jean just smiled and pulled Flonne into her lap, hugging her. "Well...good luck with that..." she said.
Raven tiredly said "[sub]Go team![/sub]" before falling onto his back in the sand "[sub] Going on land and sea.... cheater...[/sub]"

Mitsuru sighed, she wished Terra hadn't fallen asleep so far from the camp, but she realized it wasn't her fault. She picked Terra up and began to make her way to camp

Katrina and Crystal walked away from the shorelines and found Raven. Katrina raised her Destiny Sword as she summoned the Elemental Dragon of Water to quickly help Raven with an energy boost as Crystal started healing his wounds that didn't stabilize with his own arrows.

The Mako Reactor in Long Fang's ship's cargo Bay had never stopped humming since the arrival in New Zealand. Though, no one seemed to ever notice it.
