"We got the target and turned him in fairly quickly."Samus replied, like she was reading a mission report.
Medic walked in on the fight between the drunken scotsman and the hillbilly.
"Um..." he said over his shoulder to Victoria, "vould you mind kicking these to the ground?" He asked, "I need to get a blood sample from demoman to finish heez reanimator."

[color=cc6699]"Well, it might. 'e could 'ave a way to escape, depending on what 'is powers are."[/color] Riko pointed out. [color=cc6699]"And, anyway, you aren't even a little curious about the things you encounter?"[/color]
"I am, but all the other bounties we have captured have seemingly disappeared, so I see no reason for this to be any diffident. And if he does escape..." Samus drew her paralyser, looking the pistol over. "I could get bring him in again."
[color=cc6699]"Well, one of them died. 'ow many others 'ave you captured?"[/color] Riko asked as she stood up. [color=cc6699]"Also, I think it's always good to know what you're going up against."[/color]
[color=cc6699]"Do you remember the way to the bounty shop? I would like to ask the employees some questions."[/color] Riko asked, after thinking for a moment.
[color=cc6699]"Great. Do you 'ave anything to do right now, or shall we leave?"[/color] Riko asked.
"We can go now." Samus said, turning in the direction of the shop and waving for Riko to follow.
Riko followed Samus. [color=cc6699]"So, 'ow long 'ave you lot been in this world?"[/color] she asked.
"I am unsure. A lot has happened and we crossed a timezone, so I do not know the exact length of time."
[color=cc6699]"Fair enough."[/color] Riko replied. [color=cc6699]"So, what are you planning on doing next?"[/color]
"I am a bounty hunter, and there seem to be many people with bounties on their heads, so I shall simply resume my occupation unless something important happens." Samus replied in the closest she ever sounded to a casual tone.
"Really? So you're not mad? That's great!" Sophia sounded a mix of cheerful and relief. "Then I guess I really only have one other question then." She said as she dug into her bag.
"Like I said before, this isn't the first time I've had something like this happen to me. [small]Hopefully it's the last time... but griping about it won't solve anything...[/small]" Sophia went on as she sifted through the bag, oddly not making much of a sound as she did so. "Anyways, one person that I met there, and trusted deeply was a Feline like you. Now I'm not sure if it's the same place, time or dimension... [small]I'm not that smart when it comes to stuff like that.[/small] Do you happen to know a, Jessica Broca? She looks something close to this?" Sophia said as she lifted up a wooden figurine of a cat girl dressed in a lab coat and posed in a intelligent looking thinking pose, lacquer had been used to give the scientist a grey scale look. The detail would actually be significant enough that if Victoria did know the woman she'd probably be able to recognize her.
"I know it's kinda a long shot, but yeah, at least it shows you what I can make I guess." She suggested.

Afterwards she turned her head back to Sophia. She looked at Sophia's wood carving, the lens on her metal eye noticeably widening and narrowing to find the best focus.
