Medic looked at the uncontious creature, "Look, it's uncontious, and I vould vather see it functioning living zhen dead. And vhat she said, ve don't know vhy it did zhis. Do you vant to know vy? Vhat if zere are more of them, or if zhey come in groups, vill ve be able to handle them? I vant information, and I vill GET it, but I vant it ALIVE." he said, idly healing Shara.

Samus held the beam charged for a second, then let it dissipate when she saw the bug had fallen unconscious. She sighed. She didn't like this, but it made sense to figure out what this thing was and why it was after Shara. she disengaged her armour, drew the Paralyser, and shot it with a taser blast that would keep it KO'd for at least a couple hours. She looked at the Medic. "Make sure it doesn't die."

While all the chaos was going on in the hospital, Sophia was keeping herself very much busy. She remained sleeping throughout the flight, and even after they landed she'd remained asleep. If the group just wanted to let her sleep, forgot her in the shuffle, or what have you. Given how hot the area was anyways, Sophia would have been reluctant to leave, although Shara would have more than likely pushed her to try.
Roland had to dive to the side to dodge the gout of fire, but he managed to get away unscathed. As he got up, he saw that the others had already disable the bug. He approached the fallen creature, listening to the others decide what to do with it.

Going through its mind, the Sectoid would find the bug was largely animalistic in its thought process, even if it had higher inteligence. It was driven by three things, although what these things were, the Sectoid couldn't ascertain, as its connection to the bug was broken upon the latter being decapitated.

Joel emerged from the hospital, his jacket and top stuffed into his bag and his HF blade turned off and back between his waistband and belt. As he exited the building, Joel took out a bottle of water and poured it over himself.
With the Bug having been dealt with, Vicky had gone around and used her psionic curtain to put out all the fires by using it to essentially smother them all out. While she was doing so, she inevitably ended up stepping in the bug's blood, but simply left her sandals behind in the room when she left, not wanting to try and bother cleaning them off.
With the HF blade's heat cautherising the base of the head and stump of the neck, destroying the blood vessels and nerve endings, reattatching the head was imposible. The bug's short life had reached its end. And in this, a geological disaster of unprecidented proportions was stopped before it could begin.
The sisters, seeing as how the situation with the bug was quite crowded inside the hospital, decided to move out civilians away from the flames and hazards to the outside of the hospital. When the noise of the fight died from inside they went in cautiously. They saw the mangled body on the floor with Medic trying to do something with reviving the body or whatnot.
