"As much as you helped us, I'm afraid we can't help you." He seemed sincere, at least a bit. "The city needs every worker it has on reconstruction."
You say that you don't need much, that the crew currently working on the site would be well enough with the right equipment. You add that you don't even need much materials, since metal could be salvaged from the Ray. You then say that if your ship is repaired you could very quickly transport resources to the city, since a flight will take a few hours at the most.
He thought for a second. "...fine. But this had best not take too long, and when it's finished, I expect you to lend us a hand."
You smile and thank the man, wondering to yourself how he can be so demanding after you and the others risked your lives protecting their city. You begin planning and preparing for the repairs, taking lead. The others head back to the other ship to let them know what has happened, and also return Vicky's trousers.
Samus looked at the sisters as they arrived back, noticing Victoria's clothing and their news about Sharas ship. She nodded. "Thank you for the update." She went to find Sophia and tell her the news.
Sophia continued working on the figurine, having picked out a thin metal tool as she got more into finer details unsuited for her thumbnail. She was a bit mesmerized as she worked, the hobby helping to relieve her.
Samus eventually found Sophia, walking up to her silently due to being in the Zero Suit.. She saw Sophia working on something, and decided to let her finish before distracting her.
Samus would be able to tell that the figurine was of Victoria, in a rather powerful, triumphant looking pose. Samus could tell Victoria's dagger was drawn, and with a grin on her face. After a few moments, Sophia paused and looked up at Samus. "OH! Um hello Samus." She said rather surprised, her head tilting to the side as she looked passed Samus listening to see if anyone else was coming. "Soo... what can I do for you?" She said a bit awkwardly.
"Shara examined her ship. It will take a few days, but it can be fixed." Samus told Sophia, then looked at the statuette. "Impressive. "
"Only a few days?!" She repeated. "I knew she was really smart when it came to that, but she isn't going to be doing that herself right? It's hot as hell out there! I get you guys can handle it better than I can, but she just got out of the hospital." She added.
She then looked back down at the figurine. "Oh ya? Thank you. I gotta keep myself busy somehow, right?"

"We'll help out where we can, and she is enlisting some local help too. And I understand needing to keep yourself occupied. Maybe try meditation?" Samus suggested.
"Meditation? I don't really think that's for me really." Sophia shook her head. "I'd much rather do something like this, and get something nice out of it in my opinion." She said as she raised the figurine up to look it over before dusting some chips off it.
"Maybe I could try to help after it cools off out there more, although I didn't really help too much the last time she needed my help the last time she needed to change a wire. Not sure what I could really try to do given how bad it is now." She suggested.
