"Well, I probably would know more about it. I'd have to think about it some more. But as for this story, it's a story about us. It's too bad you weren't there for the first half, although I'd be happy to tell it again for you sometime after this part."
She cleared her throat before she continued.
"So then. I believe last I left off was the part when the dark being descended onto Earth. The dark being was essentially a project that wanted to bring all of life together by consuming it and it was sent out by some alien fanatics. Gwen and I have two other sisters, Sara and Winona. All four of us are in tune with a specified fundamental force of nature. Gwen uses the gravitational force. Winona uses the weak nuclear force. I harness the electromagnetic force. And Sara wields the strong nuclear force. At high energies, we're able to fuse together. Winona and I were able to fuse together into an entity called Ewa. She represents the electroweak unification. In our past endeavors we've been able to fuse together on multiple occasions into Ewa. At extremely high energies, the electromagnetic, the weak nuclear force, and the strong nuclear force fuse together into the electronuclear force. Only twice have we fused into Enya, the representative of this force."
<color=purple>"When the dark being descended in the skies of the Earth, all of us had it in our heads that a fusion with my force must be possible. But there was no force delivered by the other alien species that it encountered that could've repelled it." Gwen seemed to take command of the story as she took a deep breath. <color=purple>"For many years and millennia, humans had been looking for a way to bring together the gravitational force with the others. Yet it seemed doubtful that even if we were to achieve this unification, the dark being would even yield to us. But we tried any way... with our hearts shot full of energy, I fused myself with Enya and a colossal flash of light erupted from our spot on the ground as one of its giant tendrils came down on us. It was a success. The tendril stopped in its tracks." Her eyes gaze forward as if the stopped tendril was right in their faces, only a few inches from colliding with them.
