Needless to say, the talk of neutrinos flew right over Sophia's head clearing her ears with ease. For all she understood, neutrinos were actually fairies, and beta decay had something that happened after than tooth decay. "That must have been really distracting for her, having such good eyesight you could see things others couldn't see I guess?" She eventually replied.
"Markus the super computer? Alright got it." Sophia moved on the the main story. "But why would they want to go to this Markus thing when they wanted you all?"

If we can successfully translate their records of what their planet was like before they were wiped out and compare that to what's present today, we're in the clear. "Winona was excellent at spotting radioactive sources better than the rest of us. But anyways. It turns out that these extraterrestrials were saboteurs who were wanting to infiltrate Markus to not only bring him down, but also find out whether or not there would be other people that would pose a threat. You see, Markus became a psychic from the gift of the supercomputer linked to his mind. From that he came to remember almost every person alive and dead since his inception. Because of that, he knew us and he also knew we possessed super human abilities. These ET saboteurs quickly found out about us, as they realized that we would be a threat to what they would want to bring to the planet. They wanted to stop us before we could grow any stronger. It's only speculation, but we must've been the only thing on Earth that could potentially stop them. We estimated that an alien that has superior space travel than us humans most likely could easily take us over. Whatever gifts that were given to us by the non-human colleagues my dad knew, they must've been from a place far more advanced than our alien saboteurs. From our gifts we were able to save Markus from being taken over and the saboteurs were taken down. We retrieved a data packet from them, revealing what they would want to bring to this planet as well as what their mission was. With the use of Markus' computational skills and our puzzle solving, we were able to decrypt the alien messages. Their species was the Iter, and they wanted to deliver the dark being to all planets containing their life. They would come to each planet to ensure that there was no possible way of defending against what they wanted to bring."

"Although... if Markus is a person... how could people, well you know..? Infiltrate him?" Sophia commented before blushing slightly. "Oh god, that came out wrong..." She seemed rather flustered as she quickly waved her hands back and forth in an apologetic manner. "Just move on to the next bid of the story please!" She encouraged EMily on.
