Victoria is below Samus, or at least on the same level as her.

Victoria failed to hit the merman as he floated down into the inky darkness, propelled by Samus' shot. Victoria would see the merman mouth something, however she wouldn't know what, even if she was capable of reading mer-lips.

EMily began to swim for the surface and accelerated towards the beach.

 

[Drakmorg]

Victoria clasped her right hand over the bite wound on her neck. Oh no you don't you bastard... You aren't getting away from me... She started coughing as a result of the water in her lungs, but tried to stumble after the drifting away merman despite her injuries.

Seeing Victoria still trying to engage the merman, Samus grabbed her. She put her armoured hand over the wound in her chest, trying to cover the wound, then used the Space Jump Boots to jump off the seabed, making sure to grip Victoria tight. When she reached the peak of the jump, she took a deep breath and disengaged her armour, swimming the rest of the way to the surface with Victoria in tow.

Having surfaced, Victoria began to drown from the water in her lungs, now that her gills no longer provided her oxygen.

Having reached the beach she checked up on the crew member she managed to rescue ( that is if he/she was still at the beach.)

EMily would find the crew member being treated by paramedics, though he was not seriously injured.

Samus quickly submerged Victoria again, and began swimming back to shore, carefully to keep the girl's gills beneath the waves.

"Oh thank goodness! Is he doing okay? He doesn't look too injured." She asked the paramedics.

The paramedics looked up at EMily, and one said, "He is doing well."

Victoria spent the entire swim back to shore inaudibly cursing and weakly flailing in rebellion against Samus. Once ashore, the blood loss and water in her lungs would get to her and render her unconscious.

 

[Slenn]

She directed her attention towards the crew member.
"Can you speak? Try to speak calmly as you're recovering."

Samus reactivated her suit as soon as she stepped onto dry land, carrying Victoria to the paramedics in a bridal carry. "Stab wound to the chest, bite on the neck, fluid in lungs. She needs immediate help." she practically ordered them.

The crew member, while alive, was barely conscious, due to jumping off a boat, getting hit by the spear and being dragged underwater in the span off a few minutes. He did, however, weakly smile at EMily.

Paramedics ran over to Victoria to help her. The spear was removed, revealing that the part of the spear that had seemingly gone inside Victoria wasn't there any more. This also meant that her wounds were not as severe as one might have expected.

 

[Slenn]

She smiled back in response "Rest well then. I hope you recover quickly."

She went over to Samus.
"The crew member I managed to rescue can't talk at the moment from exhaustion. I see Victoria has overexerted herself. I'm relieved to see she's still alive. What should we do after this? We'll need to ask the crew member if they saw the monsters with sonar at all."

When examining the neck wounds, the paramedics would find that they had already natural healed over, leaving a series of scars along Victoria's neck where the teeth had pierced her skin.
She was still drowning though.

Samus nodded. "Yes. Hopefully we can prevent future incidents."

The paramedics began trying to get the water out of Victoria's lungs to stop her dying.

Once they had achieved this, they would take her to the hospital with the crewman from the ship.

 

[Chungus]

Through a trans-dimensional tear that closed seconds after opening, a meteor entered the Milky Way. It was oval in shape, roughly 26 metres in girth, and appeared to be completely solid.

Due to its size and close proximity to the planet, it would likely be noted by the monitoring stations thereon, who would find the meteor's trajectory would have it crash into Earth. Wherther or not it was noticed, with the speed at which it traveled, the meteor would impact in four hours.
