Seras got to her feet and took a few deep breaths (which was really only to help her calm down) before looking at Sophia. "Does this ship have a kitchen then?" she asked.

"Well ya, that's where the vampire plant thing was, but there's no way someone would have human blood in a place like that!?" Sophia responded, still in a tizzy over the whole thing, a faint smell of chocolate filling the room. "It's uh... It's over that way!" Sophia pointed down the main loading area and taking a right.

You step into the large elevator and drop the rocket launcher. You pull out your blaster and fire a medium power blast at the alarm, just to shut it up. After that, you pick up and reload the RPG before slinging it over your shoulder.

Seras started moving toward the kitchen, now moving a bit easier due to adrenalin. "Alright, we should get a knife, a cup or bowl or something, and some bandages." Seras said as she walked, actively looking for anything that looked like a kitchen. When she found it, she started looking for the things she described.

Seras would find the kitchen without too much trouble, the smell of food being a good sign. Once there she'd find some of the cleaned utensils from the night before having dried. She would find a suitable knife and bowl still there, although it appeared the cups must have been already put away at the time. "A-A knife?! Don't you think that's a little extreme?" Sophia asked, grabbing some bandages from her bag.

"Er, well, I don't need that much, but...just find a seat, okay?" Seras said as she got a knife and bowl and looked for a table to put the bowl on.

Samus also stepped onto the lift, musing that shooting the alarm was probably unnecessary. When everyone else was on, the lift started moving upwards with a lurch.

"H-Hold on, if we're doing this, I'm going to be..." She gulped. "the one with the knife." Sophia said forcefully, extending her hand out to grab the knife herself. Needless to say Sophia was not at all comfortable with this situation, but if it meant saving someone, she could manage.

"A-are you sure? You're going to need a steady hand, otherwise you could really hurt yourself." Seras warned, not wanting anything to go wrong with this operation.

"N-no, I'm not sure of anything about this right now!" Sophia retorted. "I just know I'd feel way more comfortable doing this at my pace." She said as she continued to keep her hand outstretched, her tail puffed up and the smell of chocolate hanging in the air.

'I guess I should use this one... no entirely sure how mine would react...' She thought as she looked at the knife. Resting her hand on the tabletop, she used it to steady herself and after a long pause of finally contemplating the course of her actions, made a slow cut into her arm enough to make it start bleeding. The cut was a bit deeper than she should have made, but it didn't seem life threatening, having tying a knot on her arm to limit what would come out anyways. "Ow..." She whimpered a little, biting her lip.

In terms of scent of the blood however was already pretty significant. Sophia was already pretty fit and healthy, maybe it was also being Seras was starving, but this blood smelled extra special.

"How much do you need to get to last until the others get back?" Sophia asked her, still biting her lip, not exactly wanting to look at the bowl of her own blood.

You reload your blaster, sitting down for the moment to relieve some weight. You decide to take a moment to meditate, controlling your breathing and closing your eyes. You sense the weaves of powerful beings ahead on your path, though you do not possess the skill to identify exactly what it is. You mentally go through the principles of the martial art you were taught, getting yourself ready for a fight.

"A safe amount is one pint at a time, but since you were injured recently, half a pint should be fine." Seras said as she watched the bowl fill very carefully.

"W-what's a pint?" Sophia asked, unsure of what that might entail of her. Regardless of the discomfort she was facing at the moment, she tried to stay positive. The worst was over now, Seras would have enough blood to keep her going until the others got back and they could think of something else to do. All she would have to do now was think positively and she could try healing herself, cuts like this would be pretty easy for her to fix up. After that she would go and make one last check on Victoria and then have a nice nap on a job well done helping two people out today.

Seras simply told Sophia when she thought there was enough blood in the bowl. She then drank it down rather quickly. She then sighed and thanked Sophia for her generous help.

After hearing that was enough, Sophia quickly tightened the bandage around her upper arm she'd already made, then quickly tied another around where the cut had been, starting to already form the shield membrane she needed for a heal to close up the cut like it hadn't happened at all.

Seras on the other hand would notice a couple of things. The most obvious would be how delicious the blood was, sure the smell had hinted at it, but the taste seemed to only get better. As the second ticked by, that quickly changed as another flavor took precedent, the feeling like she'd eaten something she really shouldn't have. The taste quickly changing from a bad after taste, to bad indigestion, to just straight pain.

As the painful sensation increased, Seras clutched her stomach and started groaning. "Ugh, I think s-something's wrong..." she said getting a little worried, since she had never had this reaction before.

The pain would only escalate, not just in her gut but in her esophagus and mouth as well, much like how a hot pepper burns everything it touched. A ghost pepper wouldn't be too far of as it felt like Seras' insides were on fire.

"W-What?!" Sophia asked. not knowing anything about vampires, their feeding habits or what might ail them. She had finally manifested her heal, and was already sealing up the wound she'd made. "What do you mean wrong? You got the blood, right? Isn't that supposed to be it?!" She answered back.
