Samus doubled checked her suit's systems, making sure she was ready for a fight.

After a while, the freight elevator grinded to a halt on the top floor, the group faced with a well lit corridor with thick glass-and-metal door at the end.

When the elevator comes to a halt, you open your eyes and get up. Focused on the impending battle, you briskly walk down the corridor while aiming at the far end.

With Seras tumbling to the ground, Sophia clambered off her feet, still having a majority of her heal available. "SERAS!!" She exclaimed in a panic, not understanding what was wrong with her. With her wounded hand now healed and free, she used it to roll Seras onto her side. With Seras clenching her stomach like she was, Sophia figured that the problem must be somewhere there? "Seras, can you hear me?"

Obviously the problem being something to do with the blood, the only thing that she'd done differently in days passed. Her system might try to vomit the blood up, but as it had just ingested what is the equivalent of acid to her, this might make matters worse than they were already.

Joel followed the others out of the lift, looking around the room for any sign of movement.

There was no sign of movement.

Samus walked up to the door. The door had a simple panel, which she opened with one tap, and it slid open. Beyond the door was a large, ovular room, filled with pillars covered in glowing blue hexagonal panels. At the far end of the room was a glass balcony, with Sundowner stood atop it, clad in a large red overcoat. "Glad y'all finally made it! I was getting worried."

Without any information to know otherwise, Sophia attempted to heal Seras thinking that would fix whatever was ailing Seras. Placing her one hand on Seras' gut and another on her neck, Sophia attempted to heal the apparent damage that was plaguing Seras. Not knowing vampire's undead nature[footnote]a common mortal weakness even shared with the Hellsing varient[/footnote], Sophia would have no idea the dire consequences of attempting to heal the undead with white magic. The pain would be unimaginable as Seras' flesh would start burning away as it was being 'healed', causing Sophia to jump back in horror.

Vicky picked up on the sounds of Sophia and Seras shouting and got up to investigate, having been laying down on the warm quilt until now. Her pace was slow, but she eventually made it to the kitchen and looked through the doorway.

You walk into the room, keeping your blaster raised and position yourself sideways to present a smaller target. You state to your opponent, with a coldness that usually does not reach your voice, that he will die.

Upon hearing Sundowner's greeting, EMily and Gwen activated their Photon and Graviton forms respectively in a dazzling array of blue and purple. Their eyes fuming cyan and lavender, and their bodies glowing a bright navy blue and ultramarine.

"Worried that you wouldn't be ended soon enough?"

"I have no intention of getting offed by shits like you. I just thought you'd make good punching bags." Sundowner said.

If Emily and Gwen were searching for electricity and mass, they'd detect something in the pillars.

EMily smirked. "Pfft, you'll find that punching me will be like punching antimatter."

Gwen closed her eyes, trying to get an exact fix as to what was in the pillars.
<color=purple>"Whatcha' have in the pillars there, boy? Some special treat for us?"

You are not a mood to talk to the person responsible for the death of two you knew, deciding to let your actions speak for you. Thus, you click the trigger of your blaster. A flash precedes the bolt of highly concentrated photons that had been magnetically contained inside the blaster. The bolt, travelling at the speed of light, carries roughly the same kinetic energy as a fifty-calibre bullet fired from a pistol.

OoC: I was previously wrong about how the blasters worked in EV: Nova. Now, Slenn can probably tell me that concentrated photons would make a terrible weapon, but it's what is used so I'm going with it.

Sundowner stumbled back as the pistol shot hit him, a smoking hole in his coat. He growled. "You DON'T want to do that again, missy." He walked to one of the pillars near the balcony, touching the hexagon on it. "You wanna know what's in these, huh? Take a look." The hexagonal panel slid out, revealing what looked like a white, mechanical brain, with clearly organic eyes connected to it. The eyes darted around, terrified, and there was a quiet squealing coming from it. Gwen would detect mechanical components, artificial blood, and a child's brain inside the device. Sundowner picked it up, holding it in his hand like a softball.

With no idea what was happening to Seras, and knowing now that trying to heal Seras was a bad idea all she could do was sit there horrified. Sophia would still be on the ground as Victoria came in, watching Seras flailing in agony. Sophia herself didn't say a word, a look on her face like she had no idea what was going on, starting to tear up a little. The couple bandages on her arm were still there, one still stained with blood.

<color=purple>"I'm feeling the density an mass of organic components inside that casing. Including blood."

"That looks like a cybernetic casing for a brain. My estimation leads me to believe that it's the size of a child's brain."

<color=purple>"Just what are you intending to do with these things?"
