Hans limped behind Hector, confused but complying as he was lead out of his cell. he found himself walking through scenes of carnage, with blood and viscera spread across the floor with bodies left where they fell. Henry, it seemed to Hans, had cut through the entire base like a blade through wheat, leaving none alive. Hans was eventually led to the groups break room, where a number of chairs holding off duty officers had been tossed about. the bodies had splattered the far side of the room with blood, including a cake with a single slice taken out of it. "I think theres some food or something in the pantry." Henry explained, grabbing a tablet that had been recording the birthday party off the table. he began playing with it, muttering under his breath as he did so.

Hans, in deep confusion, walked over to a nearby counter and opened it, grabbing some breakfast bars and a cup. he filled the cup with water, and ate quickly. Once finished, he glanced over to Henry and opened one of the cabinets. He plucked up a small carving knife and looked to Henry. "Why did you kill all these people?" Hans asked, approaching Henry as nonchalantly as he could.

"Well, they kidnapped a member of a group I'm looking for. you. I figure, I grab you, maybe I can show up looking a bit nicer. Might let me join with less fuss. Figure they're keeping themselves entertained hunting, might as well see if I can score a few trophies. Get some bragging rights in my old age, you understand?" Henry growled, pulled off his helmet, and set it on the table. he idly scratched his alien features, his mouth prongs wiggling and stretching after being confined in his helmet.

Hans' attack was swift, and quickly stopped by Henry. With his hand locked in place by the iron grip of Henry, all Hans managed to do was cry "I bring death to Xenos as my orders demand of me!" A low growl echoed, sounding more like a dogs then anything else. Hans lashed out with a kick, only to be brought to the floor by Henry. Hans tensed and shut his eyes, expecting death. what he received instead was a laugh. "Oh, I like you human! I like you a lot! We're going to get along just fine. Now come on, I found where your group is. they're flying a stonking big airship, and your little gunship will get us right there. long as you don't try to ram us into them, you'll be back with your friends and you can hate me all you like. sound fair?"

Hans stared, confused and disturbed. He eventually nodded, and was pulled to his feet. "Now. let us get to your ship, so we might get to the others ship. Quickly now, before they run off to go head butt the sun or something!"

OOC tl;dr Hans is back, a predator named Henry got him out of an unknown prison complex, and when there's a break from the big plot Hans will be rejoining the group.

"Giving them life skills! Just a little training course. Ever heard of what happened in Liberia a while back? Kinda like that. Effective program, made the best child soldiers the world's ever seen! Course, running it in the real world got a bit too... Complicated. Virtually though, no fuss no muss. It's like a dream. They do kill some POWs, some civilians. They enjoy it though. We give their pleasure centres a nice big jolt every time!" Sundowner rattled the explanation off like he was a car salesman, though it was punctuated with dark chuckling. He tossed the brain casing in his hand up and down like a baseball he was about to throw.

Not getting a reply, Vicky quickly assessed the situation herself. She took in a deep breath and let it out in a big sigh. She walked over to Seras, then knelt on top of her, using her legs and left arm to keep Seras from flailing about. Closing her eyes and taking another deep breath, She placed her index finger on Seras' forehead. Letting her breath out, Seras would feel the pain and damage she had sustained quickly drain away. At the same time, the same wounds and pain were experienced by Victoria, causing her to tense up and fall off of Seras.

Seras again sighed gratefully as the pain finally left her. She stayed on the ground, not really having the energy to do anything other than that.

After pounding on the door to Shara's ship for a couple seconds and leaving a small dent, he went over towards Dace's ship which was opened by Dave cause he felt that he suffered enough.

Joel glared at Sundowner as he spoke, slowly heating up. When Sundowner finished talking, Joel activated the knives he was holding, and threw them at Sundowner. "I'm going to carve you up like a fucking turkey, and serve you to all your piece of shit soldiers for dinner!" he yelled.

"They'll be trained, but will they be experienced? Those kids won't know how to handle anything other than a gun. You've thrown away their power of choice, and drastically hurt their power to deal with their emotions."

You feel anger welling up and just barely manage to keep yourself from charging blindly forward. Instead you tell Sundowner that you will gladly shoot him again, and that if you could, you would bring aim the largest blaster you could find this side of Polaris and blow him apart like the scum he is. After taking a deep breath to try and calm yourself down slightly, you say that this will have to do. You flick your blaster to high power and fire bolt of energy containing roughly three times the impact energy of the previous bolt, capable of blowing a hole straight through a kevlar armour-vest and the person wearing it.

Sundowner ducked under the heat knives, but was sent sprawling by Sharas shot, nearly dropping the brain casing. He got back up, overcoat ruined and smoking, glaring at her. "Do that again, and I'll crack this little bastards skull open!" He held up the brain casing, tightening his grip. He looked at Emily. "That's what makes 'em good soldiers. Kids are cruel. All people are by nature, they just lose touch with it as they get older. War crime this, code of conduct that... Kids, you can mould, manipulate into performing all kinds of atrocities. And there ain't nothin like a good atrocity to keep a war goin. Besides, you coming here, tryin to stop us, none of it's gonna matter in a couple hours. Demand for PMCs is about to skyrocket. Like the good old days after 9-11!" Sundowner practically cheered the last line, gesticulating wildly with his arms.

OoC: That is a thing he says. This is directly from the game's script. Please do not murder me.

"Please, if you think that all people are entirely cruel by nature, then you only see one face of humanity. My sister and I grew powerful because we weren't trained to be cruel. We grew up as thinkers, expanding our wisdom and learning our place in the cosmos. And the force of nature is about to erupt in your face."

<color=purple>"Sorry, but this process ends here. We're here to end you." She bit her thumb at Sundowner.

"Finally gonna get on with it, huh?" Sundowner grinned, put the brain casing back in it's slot in the pillar, then turned around. "Not here. Follow me." He walked off casually, a staircase rising from the floor to reach the balcony. Samus, who had been trembling with quiet rage the whole speech, tore up the stairs after him.

You tell Sundowner that if he wants you to stop, he'd best cut his own throat. Or, perhaps, he could fight instead of hiding behind a child while droning on. You glance at your blaster's power meeting, finding it to be fairly low, perhaps enough for one more bolt. When the stair case rises up, you have half a mind to shoot him in the back but decide to hold off in case he made good on his threat. Instead you follow Samus up, making sure your knife is easy to reach as you do.

EMily and Gwen softly levitated each other up the stairs, their arms spread behind them at a 45º angle.

Sensing things weren't right just yet, Seras crawled a small distance before finding something to vomit into, which she did. It didn't really make her feel better, but it kept her from being damaged further.

The group followed Sundowner up the stairs, down a hallway, eventually coming out to a huge helipad on the roof. The thunderstorm that had been present when they were fighting Monsoon was gone, though the sky remained dark and cloudy. Sundowner stood waiting for them, having shed his overcoat, something on his back, arms crossed. "Alright, we can play up here without damaging the merchandise. And killing you, it's gonna take some time and room. Slow and painful..." Two helicopters rose from the lower levels, chin mounted machine guns trained on the group and missiles on the wings. The things on Sundowner's back fanned out, revealing themselves to be six panels patterned with the Desperado logo, connected to his back by metal armatures. "Like I said, kids are cruel. And I'm very in touch with my inner child." He said in a low, anticipatory voice. He drew his machetes, laughing as a faceguard slid into place.

Two attack choppers for backup.
Six panels remaining.

Group One: Emily, Gwen, Joel
Group Two: Roland, Shara, Samus

Vicky clutched at the new wound on her neck and at her stomach, as she had absorbed the previous interior burns that Seras had. Her breathing became rapid and shallow. Just what the hell happened to cause this?... She pondered to herself before her mind clouded over with pain and she lost the ability to think clearly.

WIth Photon Form enabled, EMily took the opportunity to create a few shields from manipulating air molecules around her and Gwen. These shields were more potent and protective, they would last until their next turn.

<color=purple>"Prepare yourselves, guys. You'll be able to attack more often."
In Graviton Form, Gwen's sense of space and time allows her to generate even more bizarre effects with gravity. She sent her arms out and upwards like a saguaro cactus. A bizarre warping sound was heard as she manipulated the time around the compact party's initial position. This was in such a way that it made them appear to move twice as quickly as seen from the outside of the effect. Events outside of the effect appeared to move half as fast to the party, increasing their reaction time by twice as much.

The radius of the effect is about 2.5 meters and will last for one round.

OOC: Essentially, she cast Hastega.

Joel drew his other two knives and activated them. Using the increased reaction times granted by Gwen's gravity field thing, Joel carefully looked for weak points in Sundowner's defense, before throwing the knives at any he found.

Joel wouldn't find any glaring weak points, so the knives ended up heading for the centre of mass. The heat knives ended up in Sundowner's gut, too fast for him to dodge or block them. He pulled them out like it was nothing, grunting, then slammed the panels on his back together, creating a solid wall of metal in front of him. He charged at the group, intending to bulldoze them with the steel.

Group Two.
