Gwen's aura, along with your own concentration, allows you to quickly take the incoming weave of your opponent and spin it back on him.

What that entailed was to drop your blaster, unsling your RPG and fire it at the incoming foe, all in the span of a couple of seconds.

Shara's RPG hit the wall of metal Sundowner was rushing towards them with dead on... and had no effect as he charged through the smoke, the panels glowing red. Samus charged forward, firing the power beam to little effect, then trying to use the Screw Attack to slice him in half. As soon as she made contact with the panels, there was an explosion and she was blasted away, skidding across the helipad, armour throwing up sparks.

The two attack choppers in the background circled the area, waiting for a good shot.

Once Gwen's time haste had ended, the sisters moved out of the way of Sundowner's charge. This ended up placing them behind him.

Gwen generated a moderately sized singularity from her hands near the attack choppers, essentially creating a road block in the air to prevent them from getting into a better position. The singularity is different than the gravity well, in the sense that it spikes at the center at around 50 g's and dissipating the further away from the center. If one could look close and hard enough, they would see the gravitational lensing that was going on. But anything within a significant radius of the singularity could get torn to shreds.

EMily fired a solar laser at the back of Sundowner.

Joel, not being able to move out of the way in time, simply lowered his centre of gravity and raised his arms. If Sundowner charged into Joel, it would feel like hitting a hot, metal block.

The helicopters, being UGs piloted by simple AIs, couldn't get out of the way of the singularity in time, and quickly crumpled.

Sundowner charged into Joel with the panels, another explosion created as Joel touched them, which would probably knock him back at the very least. When EMily lasered him in the back, he turned sharply, swinging his machetes as he ran towards her.

You scramble backwards, grabbing your blaster as you do. With Joel between yourself and Sundowner, you are well prepared when your opponent turns around. You aim and fired a high-power bolt at his back.

OoC: @User doesn't seem to be here, so...

Shara's high powered bolt slammed into Sundowner's back, making him fall and smoke. He stood, resuming his attack on EMily, with his panels behind him to block further attacks.

Samus tried to get up, still a bit shellshocked.

Joel was thrown onto his back with a loud thud. He slowly stood up, at which point he heard a clattering sound. Looking down, Joel saw a small pile of plastic and metal which had once been his left forearm and hand. A motor had landed on the pile, and rolled away. Joel simply stared at the exposed innards of his left elbow, and began backing away from Sundowner while he cooled off.

Gwen assisted herself and EMily into the air via gravitational levitation to get out of the way of the charge once more. Before moving out of the way, EMily unleashed a barrage of eight lightning bolts to the center mass of him. They then positioned themselves near Joel, which should now be behind Sundowner.

Gwen generated a time-haste field that was just as potent as before and generated a gravity pull downwards worth 4 g's on Sundowner (on top of the Earth's gravity no less).

OOC: As before, the haste should last for a whole round, including the second group.

Sundonwer was stunned by the bolts, and struggled to stand against Gwen's gravity field but eventually stood tall. Seeing the crippled Joel, Sundowner laughed and went for him, moving surprisingly quickly given his size, reaching him fast and slashing with the machetes at his neck as he drew close.

You swiftly reload and place yourself in front of Joel. You flick your pistol to medium power and fire at full-auto while readying your knife.

Roland had been firing at Sundowner since the fight started, but each of his bullets simply bounced off of him, with Sundowner not even seeming to notice that he was being shot.

Roland made to grab the grenade out of his bag, only to see that Sundowner was now charging at Joel and Shara, too close for the explosive to be used without friendly fire. He cursed as he put the grenade away and continued to fire his revolver at Sundowner, despite the shots having little effect on him.

Sundowner moved his shields in place, cancelling his attack run on Joel but protecting himself from Shara and Roland's shots. Samus got up, recovering, and fired a few power shots at him, hoping to sneak a hit around the edge of his defences.

EMily fired another barrage of 8 bolts at Sundowner.

Gwen this time put a time-slow effect around Sundowner. Where everything from his point of view appeared to move three times as fast, and from their point of view it looks as though he's moving slowly.

With Gwen's time effect on him, Sundowner stopped, keeping his shields up and going on the defensive, machetes ready to slash anything that came too close.

You call out to Roland that he should try to get his grenade in beneath Sundowner while he is slowed down. You then reload your blaster and get ready to fire.
