-Elsewhere, not Earth-
In a vast circular space wherein floating square rooms were connected by bridges of hard light, two figures walked over one such bridge, heading towards one of the rooms. The figures were a man, possibly in his early twenties, and a girl, possibly in her mid teens.
The girl was short, with a slight build. She had bright green eyes and dark blue hair that reached down to her buttox, with bangs that framed her face and reached to just below the chest.
She wore a white, strapless halter top with a blue accent at the bottom, a short wrap-around pleated white and pastel purple skirt - the string of which was tied in a knot at her back - that was wrapped around her thrice, and yellow moccasins. The top had an opening at the center at the front, partially revealing her chest and stomach, and having a split at the bottom, revealing her navel. The bottom of the top was decorated with a series of hanging beads, and the top was decorated with single beads that were green, white, red, yellow, red, green, white, yellow, red, green, white, yellow, red, white from left to right. The top was held up by seven grey strings, who were in turn attatch to a wooden ring on the sternum, which in turn has the two orange with white gradient straps that were attachted to the back of the top. Each of the seven pieces of string attatch to the top were addorned with two beads that were a mix of white, blue, yellow, red and green. The wooden ring was addorned with three bleu ring beads at the top, between the straps, and had a transparant crystal in the center of it, held in place by near-invissible string.
She was accessorized with a gold and silver headress, two beaded necklaces, a silver ring on the middle finger of the right hand, and two bracelets on each wrist made of a grey piece of string with beads on it, the string going over the back of the hands and being tied into a knot around the middle finger. On the right arm, there was a wooden bracelet, painted green, yellow, white and yellow once more from top to bottom, and over this where two more beaded pieces of string. Over both biceps, were armbands made of a long pieces of grey string with beads where the string overlapped, Hung from the back of the skirt was a pelt of brown fur, that reached to halfway down her thighs.
The man was tall, with a lean but muscular built. He had tan skin violet hair that reached to just below the neck, and violet eyes. He wore a light purple headband with black tiger pattern, adorned with white feathers that gradient into a red-ish brown at the end, and several red and green beads. In his left ear, he wore a yellow earring, with a blue bead at the bottom. Hung around his neck was a scarf that reached down to his waist, and had the same colour and pattern as the headband.
He was clad in a form fitting suit of near-black dark blue armour made of carbon fibre, of which the chestplate, poleyins, greaves and couters were harder and thicker. The chestplate poleyins were also purple in colour, while the couters and greaves were near-black dark purple.
The plackart, pauldrons, vambraces, plackart, fould, cuises, lower greaves and sabatons were covered in a sturdy black leather, attatched to the carbon carbon firbre armour with steel rivets. collar, was made of sturdy black leather, with the gauntlets having purple accents. Attatched to the breastplate via a golden clamp, was a tripple layer flap of black leather that tapered off to a point, and had a purple stripe going down the middle vertically, and a circular metal inlay near the top. Attached to the lower back by rivets was a similar flap of leather, but being purple with a black outlining, instead. On either of the top sides of the purple area were four words, written with foreign letters. Finally, the armour had an open high collar, also of black leather, and white fur attatched to the lower end of the leather greave covers.
In his right hand, he carried a bizzare sword that I couldn't possibly describe, so here's [http://img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120203022218/finalfantasy/images/f/f4/FFXIII-2_Caius%27s_Sword.jpg] a picture instead.
Walking up front, the man entered the room first, glancing around the blue-lit room and its several computer terminals, before heading further in. The girl followed close behind. She too, looked around the room, but did so more casually then her companion did.
"Is it here?" Asked the man as he changed his grip on the sword to hold it ina reversed grip, and placed the tip of the blade on the room's metal ground.
"It should be, but it is difficult to say," answered the girl as she moved to one of the walls in the room and lightly pressed her left hand against it, moving it along the wall as she walked. The girl continued what she was doing for a time, doing so with other walls, before the air gave off a shimmer as she moved her hand along the wall.
"I found it," she anounced. Moving her hand away from the wall, the girl moved it around through the air, which shimmered more as she did. Using the intensity of the shimmer to guide her hand, the girl eventually touched a terminal. The air above the shimmered more greatly, and eventually, a green crystal fell from it, into the girl's hand.
"So we find the problem..." The girl mused aloud as she looked at the crystal, cocking her head a little when it began to glow, brighter and brighter.
The man, who had been standing by and watching the surroundings as the girl searched the room, looked back to as she announced she found what the two were appearantly looking for, looking alarmed when it began to glow. Taking a quick stride towards the girl, the man knocked the crystal out of her hand with his free hand.
As the crystal fell, it glowed like a lightbulb, erupting a flash of light just before it hit the ground. When the light died down, the duo were no longer in the room.

Outside of the ship, the two re-appeared in a flash of light similar to the one the crystal produced, it being accompanied by a reasonably loud whoosing noise. Neither were imediately aware that they were no longer where they had been, the man rappidly blinking to blink out the stars the light glare had left him with, while the girl had her eyes closed, rubbing them.
