"A massive conflict ensued between our group and a group of war criminals who were wanting to make war into a filthy business. The conflict is over now, and we are resting up. Much of what remains around you are their compounds and buildings."

<color=purple>"Many of our group are not of this world and have been brought to this one. As for us, we're from this same world, but not from this time period."

"I see... The situation is familiar." Irritatingly so. The man mused as he thought on the information provided, going over what was said. After a moment, however, the man registered something Gwen said in paticular. "A different time period, you say? You are time travelers, then?" He asked with a little more urgency.

The girl's eyes also went from looking up to Doug, to Gwen, but then back to Doug again.

<color=purple>"For the moment, yes. But it's not our primary profession."

"And that primary profession would be scientists. Specifically physicists."

The man hmm'd, but otherwise was quiet for a moment. "We ourselves were investigating abberations within the timeline in our own world. Perhaps the events are connected in whatever way." He thought out loud, then shook his head lightly.

"...But questioning the nature of the event is of little consequence at present. More pressing is that my charge and I would find a way back to our own world. You say the majority here are displaced? What headway has been made in finding a solution to the problem?" he asked as he raised his sword to place it on his back, where it hung in place.

"I'm afraid Gwen and I are the only ones out of the group that are able to return to their homes. But we're not returning to our place until we've disconnected our timeline from the one we're currently in. Many people have arrived here for various reasons. Most of them out of their power. But I know from experience that some people get sent back to their worlds eventually, regardless of how much investigation they make towards their delivery here."

OOC: Gonna head off in a bit.

"Those that were displaced would return to their place of origin in time, is that what you claim?" The man questioned, ever-so-slightly cocking an eyebrow. "That would seem... implausible. Even more so when the means through which a person was sent to this place vary as I suspect they do." He commented further, taking two steps to the side.

EMily shrugged.
"Sometime it happens, sometimes it doesn't. But I know it can happen spontaneously from time to time. Figuring out a way to get back to everyone's respective home worlds seems like a hard task to pick up on."

OOC: And now I'm off.

"Peculiar..." The man mused, then was quiet for a moment as he looked down to the girl, who had been looking in the direction of the sisters for a time now. "My charge and I have some things to discuss. Thank you for the information thus far." The man stated, looking back to the sisters.

Once the girl excused herself from her conversation with Doug, the two walked away a short distance.

"I would call you by your name if I knew what it was, but that isn't the issue at hand." Roland replied calmly to Seras. "I know from my own experiences that vampires are not the soulless monsters that most make them out to be, but I still recognize how dangerous they are. How dangerous you are. You obviously can control yourself, and the group trusted you before. This cyboard was our enemy only a few hours ago, and he may not be able to control himself. He is too much of a risk."

Seeing as EMily pretty much answered the girl's question for him, Doug elected to preen his feathers.

Knife nodded. "Other pilot, gotcha." With that he walked back inside the ship to look for a place to clean up and the other pilot, in that order.

"Hey man, don't I get a say in this?" the cyborg protested.

"Well I think he deserves a chance." Seras said firmly. "And my name is Seras Victoria." she added.

"You haven't done anything to earn a choice in this matter, so no. You do not." Roland answered the cyborg.

Roland was silent for a moment, then looked back over at Seras. Fine, Seras, I will give you a chance. But anything that this cyborg does will be on your head."

After having fished out her glasses to go look around properly, Sophia realized that the fight had been quite a bit closer than she'd first thought... 'Woah.' She thought to herself as she walked up to the Mason sisters, stopping a little behind them so she wasn't crowding the new people. "So..? Are they just discussing things right now?" She asked them, trying not to butt in much. "And how was Victoria doing, is she asleep EMily?" She added as she turned to look more directly at EMily.

"You're most welcome." She replied to the man, bowing. She turned around and found Sophia behind her.

"Victoria's sound asleep. I hope she's okay."

Sophia sighed a little in relief upon hearing EMily. "That's good then." Sophia added, looking back to the ship. "She was complaining about a migraine when I last saw her, so I got her the wet towel, it's probably bone try by now." Sophia stated as she looked back over to the sisters. "The migraine should be gone in a while with her sleeping and then getting some fresh air."

"Ah very good then. Well, I'm sure she'll be fine." She nodded and smiled. "She sure seemed stressed out the last I saw her before checking on her."

<color=purple>"EMily, when is Winona due to arrive?"

"In a few moments I think."

"Ya... I think we all are after all this..." Sophia said as she glanced at the giant robot scrapheap. "We need to go somewhere to just relax..." She said as she put a hand to block some of the sun from her face. "And maybe a bit cooler please, I understand some people like this hot weather, but I miss being about to walk around in the daytime without having to worry about heat exhaustion..." She lamented.

"Wait, hold on. Winona? That's the smaller sister you have right?" Sophia asked, her mood cheering up a little from the news.

"Yes, she is. She is our weak nuclear force sibling. You'll find out what that means when you meet her. She's very much into animals and the color green."

<color=purple>"And most recently... horror stories."

After briefly discussing the most pressing matters with one another, the man and girl made their way back towards the Mason sisters. As he walked, the man looked over Sophia with an indicernable expression, paticularly looking at her ferret mask. Seeing Sophia was in conversation with EMily after approaching close enough to pick up on it, he instead approached Gwen. "If you could spare a moment?" he said to get her attention, raising his left hand while doing so.

The girl followed alongside the man, looking around more as she walked, and eventually looking quizically to Sophia's animal features, lightly cocking her head from side to side and from time to time, leaning a little to the side. This continued for a moment, until it dawned on the girl she was staring, where upon she looked away, although she couldn't help but cast a glance back every so often.
