Gwen might sense the two outside, the duo having a shared weight of around 124kg/273lbs, with the man's sword adding roughly 30kg/66lbs to that.

When Dave ran outside, the duo looked towards him, the man glancing in his direction, while the girl turned her head. Even vefore he began shouting and shooting, his presence was hard to miss. At this point, the two had found their barings again, their vision largely back to normal.

Seeing the spaceship before then, with a giant bird perched ontop of it and a robot exiting, followed by a woman with animal features poking her head out, the girl brought a hand to her mouth, fairly taken aback by both it and the all around change is locale. When Dave began shooting, the man held out his free arm to his side, infront of the girl. "Get back." He said curtly.

The girl, after wincing a little at the noise of the gun shots, nodded, and began backing off. Neither paid paticularly much attention to Sophia at the moment, preoccupied by the possibly dangerous Doug or Dave.

 

[Slenn]

EMily made a smile and left Victoria in peace. She came back to see the new people... who were backing away because Dave wanted to shoot down a giant bird on top of the spaceship.

Gwen stood up and gently approached the outside of the ship.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Then stop shooting at it and try something else to get it to come off the ship you idiot! Of course it wants to hide up there with you shooting at it!!" Sophia retorted having had her attention pulled away from the couple and on the robot that was likely to blow some holes in his own ship.

 

[Chungus]

After backing away by five paces, the girl turned around, about to find some cover in case a firefight broke out, but stood dead in her tracks as she saw Armstrong's corpse with his heart torn out, and the giant wreckage of the EXCELSUS. Seeing the girl's body language, the man cast a quick glance over his shoulder, frowning at the scene and wondering what he and his companion have gotten in to.

Shaking her head, the girl moved onwards and crouched down behind a piece of wreckage, while the man turned his gaze back to the ship, seeing EMily head outside.

 

[Knife-28]

Doug screeched in alarm and took off, dodging Dave's shots. Before he could tighten his aim Knife crashtackled him to the ground and disarmed him.

"No. Shooting. The Bird." He said, rapping Dave with the point of the blaster before flipping it over and showing him the butt. "Capiche?"

 

[Demonjazz]

Dave actually stopped to draw an angry face on his paper that he would hold up for emotions. "GET! IT! OFF! THE! SHIP!"

 

[Chungus]

With the girl hiding behind a piece of wreckage, the man picked up the pace, moving backwards a bit more hurriedly. Once fairly far away, the man lowered his sword, although kept himself in a defensive stance, looking tensed. Now with some distance between himself and potential threats, he looked around, taking in the surroundings of the utterly destroyed military outpost and overall strange location.

Roland ignored Doom guy for the moment, focusing his attention on Seras. [color=01A9DB]"Don't make excuses, vampire. You should have warned us. You should have restrained him. An even better solution would have been to kill him rather than letting him turn."[/color] Roland scolded. [color=01A9DB]"Killing him is still a solution. I suggest that you do it."[/color]

 

[Knife-28]

"Unless you have a hanger big enough to hold him, that's were he's going to stay. At least for the moment."

As if to puncuate Knife's point Doug swooped in and landed on the hull again. "So, is the tin man stopped wiggin' out yet?"

 

[Demonjazz]

"... This was the property of my deceased friend... GET OFF IT!" He said punching Knife in the gut with his robot strength.

 

[Slenn]

The sisters went off to approach the two who were fleeing. They waved and smiled to tell them they were docile. It was at least a start.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"I have a name. And he should be given the same chance I was given." Seras said angrily.

"I agree...I think..." the cyborg said with a Latino accent that was becoming more noticeable.

 

[Knife-28]

Knife rolled off Dave and caught his breath after being winded by Dave's punch. "Doug get *cough* get off it."

"Whatever dude." Doug lazily took to the air and landed on the wreckage the girl was hiding behind. "S'up chica?"

 

[Demonjazz]

Doom Guy rolled his eyes at Roland's suggestions and instead payed attention to the cyborg "Welcome to the group. First order of business is buying us some cigars."

 

[Chungus]

Standing nearby where the place the girl hid, the man raised his sword a little when the Mason sisters approached, the way in which they approached putting him somewhat at ease, if only a little. "Keep your distance." He stated, speaking his a deep voice.

When Doug flew towards the wreckage, the girl rose to her feet and moved back again, moving to the side of the man. When he landed, she looked up to him, looking his over quizically. "You are the one I heard speaking earlier...?" She questioned with uncertainty, not sure what to make of a speaking bird, and the situation as a whole putting her on edge.

 

[Knife-28]

"Most definately dudette!"

Knife pulls Dave to his feet and hands him back his weapons. "So, you don't actually have a hanger big enought to hold featherbrain over there do you?" He asked, jerking a thumb in Doug's general direaction.

 

[Demonjazz]

"The other pilot has a fairly big ship. Talk to her."

 

[Chungus]

"Dude... ette...?" The girl repeated questioningly, cocking an eyebrow at the word. She thought on what the meaning of the word could be for a brief moment, the decided thinking on it wasn't the most pressing matter at present. She briefly shook her head, then looked back up to Doug. "What it this place?" She questioned, sounding more composed.

As the girl spoke with Doug, the man's gaze warily shifted between the Mason sisters and Doug.

 

[Slenn]

"Hello there, my name is Emily." She bowed.

<color=purple>"I'm Gwen. Nice to meet you two. And yes, I suppose you could consider that mumbling 'talking'."

"You'll have to forgive our other new arrivals. Even we are surprised by their nature."

 

[Chungus]

After EMily and Gwen introduced themselves, the man lowered his sword entirely, placing the tip of the blade on the ground, and eased up in posture by a small margain, although it wouldn't be hard to tell he was still on guard. He noted EMily mentioning new arivals, but knew too little about the situation to figure he and his companion migt not be the only ones who were displaced. "To add on the question of my charge; What happened here?" He asked, motioning around to the surroundings with his free hand.
