"That's how it knew all those things..." Samus mused, looking away for a second before focusing on the shadow, then going back to Teddie. "What do I do now?"
"Sure." Sophia said as she followed Gwen towards the cash register, the navy coat and the purple umbrella in hand.
"Sophia...?" Yeul asked as the group moved towards the checkout counter, speaking with some hesitation. "Would you still be willing to gift me that umbrella?" She asked, moving her toes around inside her boots, which wouldn't be vissible given the material. She felt fairly awkward asking for the umbrella, but at the same time, didn't want to leave with regret.
Caius looked from Yeul, to Emily, moving away from the position in which he had been standing with the umbrella he picked out in hand. "Yes? What is it?" He asked.

"Well, uh... I think Shadows are formed by people repressing parts of themselves. So, I guess you need to accept it as a part of you." Teddie suggested.
"Oh!" Sophia said as she turned around. "Sure I will." She replied, walking up to Yeul after she placed her stuff on the counter.
"Let's just consider it for the help you gave me and call it even, how does that sound?" She asked.

"Yes, that will do." Yeul responded, bowing her head, her long, wet hair covering much of her face as she did. When she moved her head up again, it was reveal she had a relatively bright smile on her face. Bright for her doing. "Thank you." She said gratefully.
'Aww, that's actually kind of sweet.' Sophia smiled a little herself. "Don't mention it, now let's hurry up and get it paid for so we can get going alright?" She said as she waited to get the umbrella with her and then head to the cash.
Caius was quiet for a moment, glancing up towards the ceiling of the store as he thought. Cooking a buffet in return for the two items that were about to be bought, the shelter that was the ship, and the meals therein, it wasn't a bad deal. "I considder myself to be an adequte cook, and so I accept your proposition." He answered, looking back down to EMily. "I make no garuantees, however, that the meal would be to the liking of all in this... shall we say, comunity."

Samus thought for a second, steeling herself. She sighed and walked over to her Shadow. "If I have to do this..." She looked like she was going to bolt at any second, but tried to stand firm. "If you really are me... If you know what I think and feel... Then you know why I do it. Why I cut myself off from people and try not to feel anything. It's because I don't want to hurt or be hurt. I've lost everyone I ever loved... But I'm still here. Alive. I can power through it. I thought I couldn't until now, tried to seal myself away so I wouldn't have to deal with it. I was wrong." Her voice was cracking by the end of it, and she sat so that she was at her other's eye level. Shadow Samus made eye contact and stopped whimpering.
"It is as you say." Caius responded, with a small "hah" at the begining of his sentance. His face and overall body language was the same as they've had been but his tone was a more amicable, if only by a little.
Aproaching the checkout counter, Caius laid the umbrella on the counter, and let whoever volenteered to do so pay for it after Yeul placed the raincoat on the counter, also.
With the raincoat no longer there to cover herself up with, Yeul turned her back to the ground and folded her arm over her chest again while she waited for the transaction to be complete.

Seras was rather surprised by Samus baring her soul to something that had been trying to kill her. She lowered her shotgun a bit and tried to step to the side to keep the shadow in sight.
Samus reached out to her Shadow, touching it's arm to reassure it. The shadow looked up with a tearful smile, then suddenly was caught in a blinding flash of light. Samus fell back, covering her eyes, then stood and looked as the light died down. Her Shadow had transformed once more, into another Chozo statue. However, this one was new and gleaming, resembling Samus' armour. The beak only covered the top half of the face, revealing the birdlike head to be a helmet, as the lower half of the face was distinctly that of a male human.
"I am thou... Thou art I... From the sea of thy soul, I come... I shall grant you understanding, and lead you to safety on the path ahead..." It vanished in a blue fog, leaving behind only a glowing blue tarot card which fell into Samus' hand.
Teddie stared as the Shadow changed forms, twice. Then, he tapped his foot on the floor. In a puff of smoke, two TV sets, one on top of the other, appeared. "You two should probably go now. It really isn't safe for humans over here, especially once the fog lifts." Teddie stated. As he spoke, both Seras and Samus would realise just how fatigued they were, and both would feel headaches forming. "Though, if you want to come back, you can. Just step into a TV. It, uh... gets a little lonely, with just the Shadows over here. And, more people might get thrown in and need rescuing."
