Sophia smiled as she finally got the umbrella closed, and got in as EMily held the door for her, shaking the umbrella as she walked in to get some of the rain off of it. "Thanks EMily."
Inside the shop was a wide selection of different arts and crafts, from do it yourself's to models to origami. You name it, it was probably in there in some form. There was a couple of customers in the store, but understandably few. Sophia hesitated for a moment, a bit surprised at everything that was in there, but quickly decided the best place to go was to ask the store keeper for assistance.
The man sitting behind the counter was quite a large man, who before the two had entered had been putting away some merchandise behind the counter. "Yes? How may I help you today?" He said in a deep voice.
"Yes actually, um... let's see..." Sophia said as she placed the umbrella down, and reached into her bag. "I was hoping you might have some lacquer that I could use for my figurines." She explained.
"Oh, EMily, if you want go look around, there might be some sciency stuff you might like in here." Sophia suggested, not sure how long the manager might take.
"Ah, right." Samus said, understanding. She looked down at her Zero Suit, which was starting to get a bit roughed up. "...speaking of clothes, I don't suppose any of you have some polymer, microcomputers and holographic generators, do you?"
Eric seemed to barely even register Samus wearing the Zero suit or even stared. Possibly this had something to do with him spending a couple years around a woman who wore a fur bikini all the time. Perhaps not."You lost me after some."
"Problematic..." Samus said. "Normally I would have several Zero Suits, but my ship did not travel with me, so this is all I have. I may be able to make another if I had the right materials..."
"Alright, it should take too long." Sophia then talked with the manager, describing what she needed and showing some of her past work as a reference of what she used it for.
While this happened EMily would find a wide variety of sewing materials. There was spools and spools of thread, different needles, instructional books for beginners and up, different materials and fabrics. It was a pretty impressive selection at her fingertips.
EMily might also notice that one of the younger teenagers in the model section was frequently looking in her direction. If she turned to look his way, he would quickly look back at the shelves.
"Oh no! Whatever shall you do without your huge armour that shoots lasers and missles, and barely impedes movement. Get over it, Some of us have to live without being great at everything." It was also to note that Eric never saw Samus in her armour.
"I think I saw a clothes shop near the automail engineers. Speaking of, I think my arm might be ready." Joel said as he stood up and put on his coat. "I can show you the way there, if you'd like."
She looked at the patterns that were available to her. She had gone back in time nearly a millennia, and she's still able to find sewing patterns for ballet dresses. If the patterns were kept under lock and key and stored for that long, they probably would have turned to dust. But thanks to her time travel she got to see something that was truly timeless. Mom and dad always called me the electric blue fairy. She smiled in nostalgia.
As she looked from side to side glancing around the patterns, she did notice someone quickly turning away from her direction. She chuckled and shrugged and looked over at more patterns.
