Sophia took the time in Hans' pause to look over the figurine, and add some more shading underneath mini Victoria's chin. When she was asked about the sanctions however she looked up a bit confused. "What do you mean... sanctioned?"

"I've learned how to use most of my magic from the college where I came from if that's what you're asking. Pretty much everyone that learns something about magic at some point goes through Winterhorn." Sophia replied.

"It may help you." Samus offered.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Thanks but no thanks. I don't do meditation." He said as if he was somehow better for doing so

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"...if you wish..." Samus was confused by his apparent smugness.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Hans considered the answer. "By sanctioned, I suppose I meant trained. Yours sounds quite sufficient." he began cleaning again, cleaning out the back of the Valkyrie.

 

[Demonjazz]

"Yeah. You meditation people sure are silly. Next you're going to try and get me to do yoga! Or wear silly scented necklaces!"

Faro was walking around the ship, trying to get the layout memorized. He walked into where Vicky was sleeping and walked over to see is she was okay.

 

[Drakmorg]

Having not had much time to rest yet, Vicky would still look to be in pretty bad condition. She looked sick and pale, and her face and hair still had bits of filth clinging to them. She appeared to still be sleeping soundly for the moment.

"I do not even know what yoga is." Samus said.

 

[Zepherus14]

"I've had to learn some on my own as well, but yes, there's been plenty of guidance as to what may help me from the college. They are a great bunch of people." Sophia nodded as she worked a little more on the figurine. "It's a lot of work though, but it's been a great help to me." She glanced up at him.

 

[Demonjazz]

"It's... I don't really know? But my Mom said it was too girly for me."

Faro checked Vicky for a pulse.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Hans nodded. He then walked over to the seat he had put his greatcoat on, and began shaking it out on the ramp. "interesting. I am unused to psykers using their powers in such a... benign manner. A great insight into the other worlds."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"You do not even know what it is, yet you hate it?" Samus inquired.

 

[Demonjazz]

"... Well... Uh... Um... Shut up!"

 

[Zepherus14]

"Magic can be used for a great many things... including what seems like you're more familiar with..." Sophia sighed, dipping the brush into the can. "But it can be used for a great many good things too. That's why I want to learn to use it properly, and make a difference in the people around me for the better with it." Sophia stated, sounding exceedingly genuine.

"But psykers? Is that what you call mages back in your world?" Sophia asked, working on some of the creases in mini-Victoria's hair.

Alain walked into the room with Samus and Eric, nonchalantly twirling his hammer around as if it weighed no more than a twig, and the silver rune on the hilt was glowing much brighter than when he carried it normally. "Hello. Is anything going on yet?"

Vicky was still clearly breathing, and Faro's checking of her pulse affirmed she was definitely alive, as it woke her up. Her reflexive response to having someone she wasn't familiar with holding her arm was to attempt to yank her arm free, then punch the assumed assailant with her mechanical left arm.

Faro rubbed as his arm after Vicky punched him. "Oh sorry. I just wanted to see if you were....okay."
