Sophia watched as Hans walked out into the pouring rain, half expecting him to go and do something out there. She was surprised however to see him stop, and even more surprised to see him remove his mask. 'What is he doing?' She thought, squinting a little.
Seeing him return with his eyes red, she stared for a moment before looking back down at her figurine in thought. This is when she finally clued in on Hans' use of the past tense when addressing 'Bach'. When Hans addressed her, she looked back up to him, having a bit of trouble looking him in the eye as she tried to think of what words to say. "I'm sorry I brought that up for you." She apologized, drooping her head.

You chuckle a little at how quickly this mission has progressed, and say that you've actually been sent to find her. You continue, saying that you were hired by an organization that is trying to get a grip on the recent extradimensional activity. You're not sure why, but the higherups have asked you to find her, then bring her back to their headquarters if she is willing. You pause, and realise how shady the whole affair sounds. You tell Phaesan that the organization is called "XCOM", and it seems decent enough to you.
Phaesan slowly approached Shara, lowering her hood to fully reveal the mask and helmet beneath. [color=ff9966]"I suppose it can't be worse than hiding all the time."[/color] Phaesan sighed.
Hans rubbed his eyes, blinking. "No, I'm fine. nothing to worry about." He pulled on his gasmask again, and inhaled, producing a noise more akin to a snuffle. "I just needed to be in the rain."
[color=ff9966]"Compensation?"[/color] Phaesan asked, clearly unfamiliar with the concept. She stopped next to Shara, waiting to be brought to the ship.
"But..." Sophia replied, wanting to push him on this since it definitely didn't seem 'fine'. She however stopped herself, realizing she barely knew the man. Maybe once she got to know him a bit better she'd have an easier time talking about such a subject. "Know what..? Never mind, forget I said anything for now..." She shook her head.
"Since I asked you a question, I think it would be fair for you to ask me one possibly?" She suggested, allowing Hans to choose then next topic, and hopefully avoid another bad question.

You say that you can buy food for money, or most things, really. You bought your ship for a few hundred thousand credits. You open the door and step in. Inside, the squad of soldiers were discussing something, though you can't make out what exactly. When they see you heading for the cockpit, they strap themselves in.
[color=ff9966]"Seems like a needless extra step."[/color] Phaesan commented as she strapped herself in as well. As Phaesan pulled her sleeves up to use her hands, the soldiers would see she had almost perfectly symmetrical hands, with two fingers and two thumbs on each.
Hans considered. "Tell me of how you heal." he eventually settled on. After requesting this, he pulled on his helmet, and set to work doing a routine cleaning of the bay he and Sophia currently shared. He would, however, listen attentively.
"How I heal?" She repeated for clarity. "The short story would be I use my white mana to reverse some of the damage the person has taken really." Sophia seemed a little bit bashful. "I'm still learning how to get stronger healing spells. I'm only an adept level at the moment."

Eric seemed to have gotten bored and was attempting to spin his shield on his finger. He wasn't very good at it and it kept falling and making a loud clang when it hit the floor. "... I almost wish that I was back in the realm walking everywhere!" He said mostly to himself but also to Samus.
"I will do that at a later date. Something about that place is exhausting. I don't know if I can go back there for a while." Samus told Yeul, then turned to Eric, catching his shield before it hit the ground and clanged again. "First me, you learn to appreciate the quiet moments."
Hans paused in his cleaning, considering what was being said. "are you sanctioned to do so?" he asked.
