Hans followed after Sophia, not noting the Chaos marine in his rush. He dove forward, slamming into Sophia's waist and doing his level best to knock her on the ground. Any punches thrown would most likely hit, Hans more focused on locking Sophia down then blocking any shots she might take.

Gwen wasn't pleased with Vicky's statement, regardless if its claim was plausible or not.
<color=purple>"Fair enou... SOPHIA LOOK OUT!" She shouted, noticing Hans was belting Sophia.

<color=purple>"What the hell do you think you're doing? We want to talk to her, not assault her!"

Hans successfully stopped Sophia, having her thrown to the ground. She flailed to try and get him off, but his grip stayed strong enough to keep her for the time being. "Let go!" She screamed at him, trying to free herself, showing a good degree of flexibility as she managed to land one really good punch to the front of his gas mask.

"There was a robot spying on us." Roland answered Joel, but he made no move to shoot the robot again as it flew away. Seeing Sophia run outside chased by Hans, he fired into the air to get their attention. "Enough! Calm yourselves!"

Shortly after, Alain ran outside. "I heard gunshots and yelling. What's happening?" He asked, so caught up in talking to Eric that he was oblivious to everything else happening.

Joel turned to Alain. [color=003399]"Apparently, a robot was spying on us, and I guess Roland shot it. And a bunch of knights showed up on TV, accused Sophia of a bunch of stuff and then..."[/color] Joel waved his hand in the direction of Sophia and Hans. [color=003399]"This happened."[/color]

Hans jerked back with the punch, only to reach out and try to grab Sophia's hand. Sophia might note through her confusion that, after the tackle, Hans was avoiding doing anything that would cause pain. "Calm, and explain." he requested, his voice at its usual level of placidity. "You running only indicates possible wrongdoing. Calm down, and explain, or force might be required."

The Chaos Space Marine snapped back to the moment as the scuffle emerged into the open and turned away from Roland to see the combatants. For a moment, he watched perplexed as the soldier attempted to force a smaller female into submission and felt a brief vicious surge of glee. Then it died instantly and his lips peeled back in a silent snarl as he absorbed more of the detail of the scene, and more specifically the equipment that the man wore.

Krieg Death Corps. He knew immediately that the man would recognise him, and he considered his options. Undoubtedly the Imperial Guardsman would raise an alarm, perhaps even attack him... but perhaps he could use the violence to his advantage. If the man attacked without apparent provocation, particularly after attempting to do whatever he was doing to the little female, then calling his character into question might not be difficult, given that Roland and the others clearly didn't see the implications of his own attire. He offered a silent benediction to the Gods that the rain had washed the Imperial Fist's blood from his armour and weapons.

XCOM HQ, right after the broadcast...
You look at the frozen screen, and you can feel the central officer's gaze on your neck. The picture shows the sketch of Sophia, and he is clearly waiting for your word. With a sigh, you say that you do recognize this individual, and that last you saw her she was with the rest of the group. You look back at the officer and say that you seriously doubt the claims of these antiquities. Bradford nods, and after a moment of thought begins to speak, "This is a clear interdimensional occurrence and we must act quickly. We know where the transmission is coming from, but by the time we get there it'll be too late. This 'Sophia' is potentially in danger, if the general public decide to act up. I want you to find her, and keep her safe. If you have too, bring her here. We can't send any troops with you, as we'll be forced to send a team to the studio to look for clues and secure the area. Good luck, I have a feeling you'll need it." With a nod you leave, hurrying down to the hangar. Soon, you are behind the controls and running through your pre-flight routine. The coordinates for the group's location are sent to your ship, and you are relieved to find them only an hour or twos flight away.

Several blocks away, a killer gerbil rose up from the ground, hungry for the flesh of man. It would devour all if not for a seemingly stray bullet from the sky slamming into it, killing it instantly. Roland would be forever not known as the Gerbil slayer for his bravery of shooting aimlessly in the air. :D

"B-but he's coming!!" She shouted in his face, trying to push herself away from him, tears still rolling down her face. "Why are you doing this!? Let me go!"

Yeul and Caius remained in the room the Tv was was in, even after everyone else left, both feeling enough people were chasing after Sophia, already. Instead, Yeul looked back to the Tv, waiting for the broadcast to resume.

When Roland's gunshots rang out, Yeul looked over her shoulder, alarmed, jumping a little. While Caius only glanced towards the doorway of the room. When no further shots rang out, Yeul looked back to the Tv, wondering what was happening as she heard Sophia screaming.

The eye drone continued heading away from the space ship docking site. Still losing altitude, it landed on the ground, in an alleyway two street blocks from where the ships were.

Somewhere else entirely.

The six-limbed - sitting at a desk in an office, in a chair made to accomodate their body structure - cocked their head as ther heard a beeping noise coming from their drawer. Opening the drawer, they pulled out a black rectangular device. Taking hold of either side of the device, the figure pulled the two sides away from one another, making a holographic screen appear between them, displaying the message;
Code:
"Realm 223 - Watcher 24 critically damaged, retrieval necessary."
[sub]"Is that right?"[/sub] They muttered to himself, then began playing back the footage the eye drone had captured, cutting off as one of the bullets went through the camera lens. "Trigger happy, aren't we?" Blowing a sigh, the figure closed the device and put it back into the drawer. It wasn't made a total loss, at least.

"If all you're concerned with is getting away as quickly as possible, working with us will be the most efficient method of escape." Hans said, holding onto his calm manner. "If you truly feel unsafe here, My craft or the other can fly you and several allies away. You do not need to stay here to stay calm and work with us."

Samus holstered her paralyser, walking over to the pinned Sophia, kneeling to her eye level. "Sophia, you're having a panic attack. We want to help you, but you need to calm down." she said softly.

Seeing that Hans was not attempting to hurt Sophia, Roland holstered his gun, not wanting to worsen the situation by waving a weapon around. However, Roland never took all of his attention from the Chaos Marine, and noted his reaction to seeing Hans.

"So, what does all of that mean for us exactly?" Alain asked Joel.

[color=003399]"I'm really not sure. But I expect you'll get to hit some people."[/color] Joel replied.

Eventually the screen did change to something other than the technical difficulties sign. What appeared next was a man at another news desk, the room not looking out of the ordinary. The man there simply apologized for the interruption to the broadcast, and that the regularly scheduled programming would resume until more on the matter was at hand. The tv then changed back to the talk about bananas that caused cancer.

Sophia would start to flail less frequently, although the stench of chocolate was still very much present. Hans even with his full coat could still feel her trembling. It would take a very long pause before she finally got enough of her senses to respond. "A-alright." She finally answered, her voice full of phloem.

However when Samus leaned over to speak with her, Sophia's eyes widened again as she tried to push herself away from Samus' direction. "S-stay back." She protested, this time she seemed to have her wits about her.

Samus did so quickly, standing and backing off, confused by this reaction but understanding if Sophia needed room.

The screaming and hollering got EMily and Winona out of their slumber. Both of them were in modest sleeping gowns and rubbing their eyes as they peeked out from their makeshift room at what happened. Winona's hair looked the most disheveled.
"Gwen, what's going on out here?"

<color=purple>"Go back to sleep, you two. We're trying to get Sophia to calm down at the moment. I'll explain whatever details are left in the morning. If something comes up I'll wake you two."

EMily yawned and nodded as the two of them went back to bed.

Gwen stood in her spot as recommended by Vicky.

Hans slowly stood, allowing Sophia free movement. He kept his eyes on her however, and still didn't look up to see the traitorous abomination near him.

When the broadcast resumed, and it was no longer showing any of the knights, or even refferenced them in the slightest, Yeul blew a soft sigh and stood up. "We will get none the wiser from watching any more of this." She said, mostly speaking to herself. Approaching the Tv, Yeul turned it off, then left the room. "I wish to see how Sophia is faring. Let us go." She stated as she passed Caius, who then followed after her. "And please, do not be so blunt with her in the future."

Caius was quiet for a moment as he followed Yeul, then momentarily closed his eyes and shook his head. "I will make no promise on that. I will be a direct as I need to be."

After a short time of walked, the duo neared the exit of the ship, but remained at the sides of the wallway, watching from there. With others speaking to Sophia, neither said anything. Yeul was mostly focused on what was happening with Sophia, but Caius, ever vigilant, noticed the Chaos Space Marine. Glancing towards the behemoth, Caius raised an eyebrow at the Marine's appearance.
