As the jet-bike activates its namesake engine, you swear and hit your own afterburner to keep up. However, out of the city and high above the ground, there is nothing to stop you from using the full firepower of your ship. You lock on, and open up with the slightly inaccurate blasters and significantly more accurate radar missiles. Over the course of five seconds, you fire one missile each second and a veritable hail of medium blaster bolts, roughly four each second for a total of twenty.
I believe you, wholeheartedly. Caius thought as he stared at Alain with the only change to his usual neutral expression was him raising his eyebrow by a small margain. After a moment, Caius shook hos head, but said nothing further to Alain. I am reminded of that half wit of an inventor, now...

Joel took hold of the hammer, and attempted to lift it off the ground. His mechanical left arm, and the fact that his powers gave him a higher mass, and denser body, than most humans made it a little easier. Even so, Joel still struggled to lift the hammer a significant height off the ground.

"Full strength! Winona, fire ahead!" EMily yelled, with her and Gwen at maximum propulsion.
Winona took aim and fired a muon beam at the burners of the jet bike. With a heavier mass than the electron, but electrically charged, it would sear through the bike like a hot welding spear without regards to the armor. It's invisible to the eye until it hits something.
"We'll have to pull away into Shara's ship soon. My only other option is to move at light speed and I don't know if I'll overshoot them at that pace."

Alain stared in surprise at Joel for a few seconds before realizing that he was asked a question. "Uh, yeah. Maybe. Well, no. It makes the hammer lighter, so I can swing it at something while it's light, then make it heavy again right before it hits." He said, grabbing the hammer and activating the rune. After a brief delay, the rune began glowing and Alain picked up the weapon with one hand, swinging it around a few times without much effort. "See? That one is my own design, actually."

Alain set the hammer down again as he looked over at Eric. "Says the guy with a magic shield. At least I made all of the magic equipment that I use! Well, I kind-of made it. I didn't actually forge the hammer, but you know what I mean."

Noticing it was locked on, AI took evasive maneuvres to evade as much of the blaster fire, while preparing a counter measure for the incoming missiles. It didn't switch its cloaking device back on to throw the missiles off, needing to keep its shield up to take the blaster fire salvo, and being unable to activate both the shield and cloaking without overloading.
A hatch on both sides of the jet-bike opened up, and from these, a black sphere emerged, reveling the jet-bike's one and only weapon system. Targeting the warheads of the missiles, the jet-bike's AI fired a intense laser beam from each sphere at the missiles, detonating them before they could reach the bike. After the first two were destroyed, the AI repeated the process until it had shot down all five.
While the jet-bike evaded a fair amount of blaster fire, it took five hits. The first there were absorbed by the barrier, making it shimmer like light reflecting off of spoapy water, but it reached its limited after this, and breached. Although it wasn't heavily armour, the plating it did have were of high density, protecting vital conponents decently, although sizable holes were punched in the plating, leaving the jet-bike vulnerable to follow-up attacks.
With its barrier breached, Winona's muon beam struck true, making the jet-bike rock heavily as the jet engine was blown up. Although it had lost the jet propulsion, the momentum it had build up still existed, which was enough.
The power build-up sufficient, and the coordinates set, the AI opened the portal infront of it, flying through. The portal remained open for two seconds after the jet-bike flew through, but lead to deep space, and wasn't nearly large enough for Shara's ship to pass through.

<color=purple>"That portal he opened leads into space. I can't lead us in there. Let's pull back to Shara's ship." They slowed down to a more reasonable speed, the sisters eased themselves towards Shara's ship.
