Matilda smiled, then flopped onto the bunk and started sleeping, her cane rattling slightly as it hit the floor.

Joel, meanwhile, had headed through to the kitchen. Upon seeing the variety of food, he looked rather confused. [color=003399]"I don't really know what any of this stuff is."[/color] he said.

 

[Kirke]

You are a little shocked when Sophia hugs you. Out of pure reflex, you hug back a little and support her weight. You reply by saying that you're happy you could help, then with a little sadness in your voice you tell her that you'll be leaving soon. You continue by saying that you'll miss her, and the others, but you'll visit them when you can.

Samus left Matilda to her slumber after propping the cane up against the bed, returning to the table.

 

[Slenn]

"Start with the tacos. The taco buffet consists of ground beef, which is meat from an animal called a cow, cheese, lettuce, and then there's hot sauces of varying hotness. The sandwiches consist of turkey pastrami (another meat), cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, and mustard. The carrot cake is made from carrots, which is a root vegetable, flour, sugar, eggs, and cow's milk. The shrimp with chili sauce is made from shrimp (another meat), bell peppers, green onions, white onions, mushrooms, chili paste, salt, and pepper. The rice is a grain that has been cooked with water."

 

[Chungus]

Sam didn't go in on the woman's first comment, taking it as confirmation. [color=edc393]"Guess you could say that, yeah. Place I came from, it's almost the same as this world, but not quite."[/color] He answered, no orders preventing him from talking about his life prior to his resurrection. [color=edc393]"Nothing special."[/color]

"Ask her if she's the only one from her world in this one." Elm instructed over the radio. The woman might hear Elm's voice within Sam's helmet, faint as it was.

[color=edc393]I was getting to that.[/color] Sam thought, not answering Elm now that the speaker was turned on. [color=edc393]"Question is, why go around selling your wares here, of all places?"[/color] Sam asked, stiffly motioning around the surroundings. [color=edc393]"Or are your customers also from other worlds?"[/color] He added, lowering his arms and cocking his head, slightly.

 

[Zepherus14]

"That's ok, you said it before and I got to see you again, so one more time isn't going to hurt." Sophia said as she continued to hug Shara. After a short time more where it seemed like Sophia wasn't going to be ending the hug, she lamented. "I've... been trying to stand back up for a while now... it's not working. Can I get a hand?"

[color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"Oh, you know. Where their's a Will, there's some money to be had."[/color] She answered back before cackling again. [color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"If I'm going to keep answering your questions, I'd open a kiosk though, what seems to be troubling you that I could fix for you? [small]Or your little talking friend?[/small] Then I could maybe dust off more cobwebs for you."[/color] She answered slyly.

You chuckle again and help Sophia stand, then help her towards the hangar. After a little while however, you excuse yourself and go to talk to Seras.
OoC: Some messed up storytelling here... Anyway, unless there are any more Previously... to do, I think I'm done for the night.

Smelling food, Vicky wandered over into the kitchen. She didn't seem terribly familiar with what any of the food was at first glance, apart from the sandwiches, but fixed herself a make-shift plate of whatever she found. She began quickly and quietly eating.

Eventually Sophia got herself plopped down on the table, resting her head on her arms on it. "Man... it smells really good in here~" She called out to the Mason sisters.

"It's not that. I went through an intense, specialised training routine. I thought I could teach you some." Samus said to Sophia.

Presently:
Samus, unsure of most of the food, merely took a finger sandwich for now.

[color=edc393]"I'm not really looking for a perscription." Unless you could cure the sensationlessness. Eh. Couldn't pay for it, anyway."[/color] Sam answered, lightly and dismissively waving his right hand about. [color=edc393]"And I don't have the funds to buy anything, even if I did."[/color] He added, then paused.

[color=edc393]"How did you hear that? My 'friend'?"[/color] He asked, placing slightly questioning emphasis on the word "friend".

[color=003399]"Right. That's a little more familiar."[/color] Joel said as he began eating a taco, that being the most familiar food for him. [color=003399]"I wonder how I'd react to those hot sauces."[/color] he mused.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"Good evening Sophia! Help yourself. If you need to have anything described to help, just let us know." She said, with a smile.

<color=brown>"Sample each one to get an idea of their hotness. The blue one is extremely hot."

Seras and Faro started to regret showing up, as they were left to stare at the food longingly.

[color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"Well that is such a shame... but in these economic times we all have to save our pennies, don't we?"[/color] The woman answered back before lightly flicking her ear. [color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"You have ears for a reason dear, I might be old, but I'm not that old."[/color]

 

[Slenn]

"Don't be afraid to talk with us, Seras and Faro."

<color=brown>"Also, cheese comes from a cow's milk. So be wary if you're lactose intolerant."

"That's me..." Sophia mumbled at Sara's comment, eventually picking her head off the table as she made her way to get some tacos minus the cheese. Once she got one of the tacos into her, she finally started to wake up a bit more. "Ah that really hits the spot!" Sophia licked her lips, reaching for another.

"... I guess we could do that, but later, food and sleep first." Sophia agreed with Samus.

Samus tried a taco, her face an utterly unreadable mask throughout.

"Agreed." Samus said with a small smile.

[color=edc393]"Thing is, the noise wasn't that loud."[/color] Sam pointed out, then, after a moment, shrugged. [color=edc393]"Ah, never mind. It doesn't matter. Time for me to move on. Bye."[/color] With that said, Sam began moving further down the street, muting the speaker again as he went. [color=edc393]"What do you think?"[/color] He asked Elm as he walked, searching for a secluded spot to step on the jet-bike.

"It's one person, selling wares on another world. Unusual, but nothing remarkable enough to report to command." Elm answered, moving ahead of Sam. "What do you think? Why did you approach that woman in the first place?"

[color=edc393]"Hmm. Just had a hunch. I'm pretty damned sure I saw her look at me when I was following our targets, when I was invissible. That got me wondering."[/color] Sam answered, then paused. [color=edc393]"You know, we've got a lot of time to kill. If I could walk around town for a bit?"[/color]

"Why?"

Sam shrugged, before answering with, [color=edc393]"Just feel like it."[/color]

"Alright. But don't stay to long, and keep out of sight." Elm instructd, begining to fly back to the mountains.
