"Well...Emily said she wouldn't be giving me or Faro any of her blood, and the same will go for her sisters I assume. So...We'll probably have to rely on the rest of you. But if enough of you are willing to do that, we won't have any need to go hunting for people." Seras said. "We also can't get blood from Sophia." she added with a shudder.

Samus thought for a second, and disengaged the cannon, freeing both of her hands.

Sam would find the bounty store was closed, what with the owner being slightly preoccupied with legal stuff and counting money.

[color=006d5b]"Why do you people fly around so much?"[/color] Matilda grumbled, standing near the kitchen. [color=006d5b]"Can someone show me to the beds? It's midnight by my body clock, I think."[/color]

 

[Kirke]

You say that you wont be sticking around yourself, but you dearly hope the others will be willing to give blood. Opening the door, you say goodbye to Seras. You head back to Faro, retrieving your blaster before you head to the elevator once again. While going up, you send a voice message to Dave's ship saying goodbye, for now.

Only fifteen minutes later, you take off. With no lack of money anymore, thanks to the generous pay of XCOM, you decide to use this downtime to train. You have a feeling things will only get harder as time goes by, and you want to be ready. For now however, you want to experience the utter silence of space once again. It has been too long...

 

[Slenn]

The sisters continued with their work.

Sara assembled her potent sauce by carefully adding in the precise amount of drops of liquid ingredients via eyedroppers. Although seeing as how most of everyone would not be able to handle that much capsaicin, she put together a mild, and a medium salsa. With her beef done, she put together a taco buffet with cheese, lettuce, onions, sour cream, and salsas.

Winona went to baking the carrot cake.

Gwen finished making the sandwiches.

EMily finished the rice and was in the middle of preparing her vegetables and shrimp.

"Well you saw how the knights reacted, right... Things aren't quite as, civil back where I grew up as you might imagine." Sophia commented, before letting out another yawn.

Before leaving XCOM

Before Sophia headed off into the ship with the others, she made an effort to speak with Shara before they left, stopping her before the got far enough away to the elevator. "Hey Shara? I wanna... ask you some things." Sophia paused for a moment as she blinked widely for a moment, fighting off the latest attempt of the Sandman.

(I need to go to supper, but we can do a previously too if we need Kirke, and otherwise Sophia will sit up to the table and start eating)

You turn to Sophia and say that you'll answer, if you can.

Samus heard Matilda outside, and stood, walking to her. "You get used to the jet lag. I can help you find a room."

Seras and Faro went to join the others for dinner, even if they couldn't eat any of it.

"Alright, first do you know how that soldier... Private Ignatyev? is doing?" Sophia asked, sounding a bit worried as she hadn't heard if she had even managed to help him or not.

 

[Kirke]

You say that you haven't heard anything, which you assume means he is still alive. You add that you didn't see the wound yourself, but considering how critical it was, it's possible that they are still operating. He'll probably be out of action for a couple of weeks, but you think he'll live. You add that he's a tough guy, and with a chuckle you say that he'll probably be insisting he gets put back into the squad within the week.

After a few more minutes, Winona and EMily had finished their dishes. Sara was keen to label the hotness of the hot sauces and salsas on their tins. There was a mild made with Anaheim peppers, a medium made from jalepeños, and her whopping blue dyed hot sauce made from ghost chili peppers, tomatoes, lime, and onions.

"Soup's on everyone! We have taco buffet, shrimp with chili sauce, sticky rice, finger sandwiches, and carrot cake for dessert. Cooks get first dibs though." EMily announced. The sisters quickly got their dishes ready and sat down with to eat. Sara had tacos, EMily had her shrimp, Winona and Gwen enjoyed the sandwiches.

Seras and Faro tried to make sure they weren't in the way of any of the food.

[color=edc393]"They're not open."[/color] Sam informed Elm, seeing the sign on the door. After looking to the part of the sign mentioning when the store would be open again - if there was such information - Sam turned away, he began walking back towards where Elm was, at a leisurely pace. [color=edc393]"What now?"[/color]

"There isn't much we could do. We'll move back to the mountains, and wait." Elm answered.

On his way back to Elm, Sam cast a glance to the old woman at her stall who seemed to have looked to him when he was cloaked, earlier. [color=edc393]"Before that, I want to check something out."[/color] He mentioned, begining to approach the woman.

[color=006d5b]"Thanks."[/color] Matilda said, offering Samus an arm.

"Not really no, I was just answering you back." Sophia said meekly back to Roland, not sure what else she could add, and not feeling up to trying to think of what else to add to it on account of being tired.

"Oh..." Sophia responded, not exactly liking the vagueness of the answer, but not blaming Shara for it. "Well that's good then, I didn't really get to hear any updates until now. Hearing that makes me feel a little better instead of feeling like I'm going to fall asleep at any moment." Sophia grinning with eyes closed, her head drooping ever so slightly before picking back up again.

"Oh, one other thing!" Sophia added as she leaned in for a hug, which given her demeanor, either she was getting that hug or landing on the floor.

"Thanks for everything, it wouldn't have turned out the same without your help." She said happily, allowing Shara to support most of her weight, which wasn't all that much considering.

-if hug is a flop-
"Ow..." Sophia mumbled as she lay on the floor.

[color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"Why is it isn't some more young men in costumes. What might I do for you today?"[/color] The woman cackled.

Samus took Matilda's arm, uncomfortable with the contact but setting that aside for now, and led her through the ship. After a while, they found an unused bunk. "Here." Samus proclaimed.

 

[Chungus]

As he approached the woman, Sam pressed and held the button to unmute the speaker of his helmet, doing just that. [color=edc393]"I'm suprised you could tell I'm not a robot. You'd be suprised how many made that mistake."[/color] Sam stated once reaching the woman's stall, giving a single, small chuckle at the end of his sentance. [color=edc393]"I just wonder a few things. Starting with, you're from some other world to, no?"[/color]

Above the streets, Elm hovered closer to Sam, listening in on what was being said.

Don't all old ladies sit in stalls next to large shopping buildings where you grew up?"[/color] She answered back with a smile, the woman was definitely missing some teeth. [color=Totally not a dimensional traveling witch that sells potions on the fly]"Such strange things, it makes it sound like you would be too. Or are you on that cough syrup I keep hearing the kids talk about here, such dreadful things really."[/color]
