Seras started looking at the stock with renewed interest. As she looked at the costumes, she idly started wondering what other people in the group would look like in different outfits. Upon considering one combination, she started giggling madly.

"You're a little guilty, and you were being a bit dishonest when you were giving reasons not to buy one. You not being able to swim is the most logical conclusion." Matilda explained. "I can smell chocolate, by the way."

"We are near the water. I figured I should invest. Besides, gives me an excuse to get out of this." Samus tugged at her collar.

Winona searched and found her selection. She found one that was very much like her witch costume as a kid.
<color=green>"Found mine." She said gleefully.

EMily looked around the shelves for things. She mumbled to herself as she scanned the things. She didn't know how much she could change from the default costume with the resources the shop provided.
"Hmmmm. No, not that one. Oh, perfect that's good for Sara and me." She mumbled as she grabbed two patches for an elegant princess dress with puffy sleeves and silk gloves.

"If you're not busy in the next few minutes could you explain how I could modify these things?" She asked.

<color=green>"What's so funny, Seras?"

"I guess... just caught me a bit off guard is all." Sophia sighed, rubbing her forehead as she did so. "You can though? Figures... just tell me if it doesn't go away in the next little bit alright, you probably smelled that because, this whole thing." She said as she waved her hand at the swimsuits, but quickly realized that would mean nothing to Matilda, so instead she grabbed one of the one pieces, and moved them on the rack so Matilda could hear it.

The ladies looking at costumes would also notice something else, two prices. One was a rental price which had a significantly reduced price to it, but was only offered for at maximum a week's time. Flat out buying the costume was much more expensive, but you could do with it as you liked.

Lotte simply waited as the ladies found their things, browsing some of the different hair options that were close by. Once EMily came with her question, she looked up to her. "The easiest way to modify it would be júst micing and matching fròm the table I showed you with the costumes you wanted on. It júst makes it a lòt faster to be honest, and you get a feel for how the costume feels first hand." She explained, shortly after having a look like she'd forgotten something important. "Júst let me see that dress set, though?" She said as she reached for the patch EMily had gotten for herself, the display coming up as she scrolled through its contents. "Oh this one doesn't have the clothing modification aspect to it, merely the clothing. You'll have to change out of what you have now in the change rooms for that. Trúst me, a costume that extravagant won't fit right over your maid outft comfortably at all." She answered pointing to the door on the north east side of the store if the doors to the entrance were south.

"Right. Sorry. I could show you how to swim if you want, though." Matilda offered, sniffing the air audibly to sense when the chocolate smell was gone.

<color=purple>"Even though I've heard your voice plenty of times, that first sentence sounded like it was automated. 'We-are-near-the-water. I-feel-like-I-should-invest-in-this-swim-wear.'" She teased in a monotone voice.

"Hmm? Oh, I was just thinking Samus would look funny in this costume." Seras replied, gesturing to the one she was holding. "Too bad she'd never agree to wear it." she added.

<color=purple>"I'm just teasing you, you big dork. You can't judge a book by its cover and all that jazz." She put her hands behind her head.

"But that ocean is huge, what if I get lost in it?" Sophia asked back, the chocolate smell was still lingering for the moment, but it was slowly starting to dissipate. "Which one's the bikini by the way?" Sophia asked, not actually sure which one Matilda was talking about.

<color=green>"We could host a costume star party for everyone else. We could have Gwen bring out her telescope on the beach."

"That's fine with me. I don't expect to wear two sets of clothing at the same time. I'll go change right now to see how it goes down. We may end up renting this as we're still waiting on a paycheck. It may be a trial version, but I'd like to see anyway." So to speak. She said, walking over to the room.

Once there, she situated herself in the room and locked the door. From her satchel he pulled out a bottle-like capsule much like the one Sara used to deliver her diving gear. She twisted the cap and in a flash of white light her regular clothes were taken off and put in the bottle. She applied the patch to her arm. She attempted to find the poofiest thing she could locate, so she hoped for the best.

"Don't worry, people swim in the ocean all the time and don't get lost. Plus, the current would bring you back to shore, and there's the coastguard and stuff." Matilda replied, reassuringly. "It's the one in two pieces."

"It will?" Sophia replied before she looked around for the two piece sets, having to go a bit closer to where Gwen and Samus were located before she spotted what she assumed Matilda was talking about. She simply gawked at the essentially bra and panties of the bikini before looking back to Matilda. 'What have I gotten myself into..?' She tried to think of the best course of action.

EMily would feel the slight warmth as the clothing started to manifest itself around EMily, starting with the silk glove with the patch, and working it's way up her arm. Interestingly the patch seemed to leave a hole in the glove so the patch was still accessible to be removed if EMily needed. The colour pattern a light blue mixed with a more richer blue for the main dress. At first it made the torso portion and a single thin dress down to near the floor, but quickly more layers upon layers seemed to billow outwards as the dress increased it's volume. EMily would also feel tiara form on top of her head, as well as her hair being braided to complement some of the patterns the dress itself had too. With a couple final touches like earrings that didn't pierce her ears and a simple much elegant choker with sapphires, EMily was pretty much done. The quality of the material was breathtaking, it would be hard to argue she did look like a princess.

Initially she might think there'd be a problem with her getting out of the door, as the dress seemed to be even wider than the doorframe, but as she'd eventually try to get out, she'd notice the dress would mold itself to fit around narrow areas, making sure she didn't knock anything over as she went.
Seras would be able to rent her costume out, but would be instructed on a safety word to remove the costume once she wanted to get it off. Unlike in the store, the patch would disappear once someone put on the costume, and only the 'password' of the wearer would be able to get the costume to work. In essence, Seras' plan would only work if she got Samus to try the costume on in the store, as outside the costume would refuse to work on her given she'd never agreed to wear the costume. There had been incidents in the passed where people had misused rentals, and measures like this had to be placed.

"Yeah." Matilda replied. Not being able to see Sophia's face, Matilda didn't react to Sophia gawking.

Her face lit up as it completely formed. And embarrassing and guilty smile wrapped around her. She eased her way out of the dressing room where the others were waiting.
"Wow. Just... holy mackerel." It'll be so worth the rental though. And Sara will like the orange one I got her. We can have a good star party just for kicks.
Winona chuckled and squeed.
<color=green>"You look spectacular."
And she gave out a meek:
"Thank you."
<color=green>"I think we're ready for checkout then. I got Gwen a witch costume in her color."

You mean like how normal fabric works? Or are you just accounting for the hoop skirt that's underneath?

"Wait, we should probably contact Gwen and Sara as to what's going on. These costumes had some fine print on them." She summoned Photon as her tablet. A picture of Gwen and Sara appeared on her device. Sara and Gwen would hear a slight pinging noise in their ears. They summoned their computers in their tablet formats, although Gwen's still appeared to shift around in three dimensions.

<color=brown>"EMily? Is that you at the costume shop? How'd you get your hair done at that place?"

EMily and Winona explained the situation as to the nature of the costumes and what they planned on bringing her and Gwen.

<color=brown>"And you got me one as well? Awww! We should totally do a magical star party like Winona said!" Sara's face lit up as she saw the example.
<color=purple>"I'm totally on board with this. These sound quite interesting."

As the girls went to the cash they'd notice what looked almost like a pack of trading cards titled 'Random 10'. They seemed to be even cheaper than the rentals of the costumes, and by what it looked like from the package the pack had 10 random costumes that a group could have a good laugh about.
"Maybe I should see what Gwen or Samus thinks then..." Sophia mumbled to herself, the tone she carried sounding like she was reluctant to wear something like a bikini.
