"Oh." Joanna started to look troubled by this. "That is disheartening. Why would she think such a thing? You did say that this group has been doing more than just... sitting on the beach, yes?"
"We've been quite busy. This is unusual period of rest. I do not know why she would think these things."
"Yes, but we haven't really found a way to get everyone home. Honestly, we've barely had time to look into it." Seras explained, starting to understand why Vicky might have felt the way she did.

"I hope that that changes soon. For all our sakes." Joanna said quietly. The hope that she had felt when the had started writing now seemed like a distant memory. If Vicky left because she felt they were accomplishing nothing, then maybe Joanna would find the same to be true. And while Vicky may have simply become bored or frustrated, Joanna feared the consequences might be far more dire if she was to fall into stagnation.

"It may come to that..." Joanna replied. "Tell me more of these bounties. What kind of men have you pursued in this world?"
"There are these bounty shops all over the world, which track criminals of all kinds that have come to this world from others. All you have to do is select a target, track them down, and either bring them in or kill them. I'd be happy to help if you need it."
Sophia tilted her head as she tried to picture what that place was, it sounded almost like it would be in a story book, a tower that held the key to all and whatnot. "So then why would you need to go to this Tower? Sure it sounds like an important place and all, but why would you want or need to go there?" Sophia asked him, trying to understand his need to leave to get there.
"I would be glad of your presence." Joanna said gratefully. "If nothing else... going with a bounty hunter would make it feel like I was doing it for the right reasons. Like it was to uphold the law of the land and ensure peace and safety for its people instead of... well..."
