"I would rather not""Joanna exclaimed at this final statement. As she moved past the notion of planetary genocide , the idea of space travel itself sank in.
"Travel between stars... in a ship? Something like that?" She gestured at the ship behind them.

"Incredible... to travel between the stars, it seems like something that should be the providence of the gods alone! What is it like?"

"Mixed. There is a lot of nothingness between worlds, and sometimes quite powerful hostile creatures, but sometimes I find something amazing."

"It was a mighty kingdom once, ruled by a king named Vendrick. A wise and learned man by all accounts. they say that he studied the workings of the soul to discover what it was, where it came from and how it tied in with magic. Now however, his kingom is long gone, laid to ruin by events that have been lost to history. It is a land of undeath now, populated entirely by hollow creatures. The undead go there, some in hopes of finding relief from the curse, others for reasons that they simply cannot explain. All fail to find what they want however, and now they wander aimlessly with the rest of the lost creatures they become, doomed to wait for new souls to stumble upon them for all of time. That is what Drangleic is. It is a burial ground, for people, for their treasures, for entire cultures."

Winona finished up her gates. She and her team would now be working on the central structure. She was thinking of something elvish, like Dalaran from WoW or Rivendell from LotR.

EMily and Gwen were creating their main structure, which looked more angular and sharp in shape.

<color=purple>"I sure hope that those records will come back into your hands." She said to Joanna.

Sara came back out with the remaining cups from the cupboard filled with ice and water. Steve would also have a glass.

"Who knows?" Joanna replied. "I think it is unlikely that Drangleic will ever be wholesome again. Its time has passed, and many do not even know of its existence. Those who do know only speak of it in hushed tones, and caution others never to go there."

"That hits the spot." Steve remarked appreciatively, drinking some of the cold water as he went to pick up his jeans and S.H.I.E.L.D t-shirt. Pulling the jeans on, he came back over to the sisters, examining the sand castles as he donned the shirt again. "This one looks... familiar somehow." He gestured at Winona's one.

Seras decided to quietly leave Joanna and Samus to their talk so she could go over to the Mason's. As she did she noticed Steve. She suddenly felt very self- conscious, considering Steve was rather attractive and she was still in her swimwear, which was not the most modest outfit in the world. She decided to counter her anxiety with confidence as she walked directly over to Steve. "Hello. You arrived at the same time as Joanna didn't you?" she asked, preparing to make her introductions while trying to keep her voice from trembling.

"Reminds me of some paintings by an artist called Alan Lee that I saw once. He painted stuff like that, along with J.R.R Tolkien." Steve agreed. I'm sure one of them had buildings like that in it. He glanced around and down at Seras as she approached.
"That's right. Seras, isn't it? I've been picking up a few of the names around here for reference. My name's Steve. Steve Rogers." Seras's attempts to keep her voice level were almost successful, but her body language spoke volumes by itself. Steve had to keep himself from grinning. He knew that shyness all too well, and he wondered if Seras would believe him if he told her that he would have had even more difficulty gathering the courage to speak to a girl like her before the war.

"Well, I had no choice. And I may have had a problem with doing exactly what I was told all the time." Joanna smiled, a ghost of mischief crossing her features.

"That's right. Seras Victoria." Seras said with a nod as she put out her hand as she looked up at the particularly taller Steve. She wasn't much of a comic fan, so the name didn't really mean anything to her. She casually wondered what he would think of her accent. The possibility that he might have some sort of problem made her feel even more nervous. She tried to quell these feelings with a bright smile that she hoped was convincing.

Samus noticed Joanna's smirk, and put her helmet on... Only to immediately take it back off, spitting a bit of sand. Apparently her genius plan to stop sand getting in wasn't foolproof.

Steve smiled and shook Seras's hand, deciding to pretend that he wasn't noticing her nervousness at all.
"So, where are you from? I mean what part, I heard plenty of British accents when I was over there. In fact, considering the circumstances, a better question might be when are you from?" His attention momentarily drawn back to the sandcastle, he nodded to Winona.
"Maybe... I was surprised to see that Tolkien had gotten so big these days. He wasn't nearly as well received when he was writing the books."

Joanna laughed at Samus's fumble with the sand.
"Are you going somewhere?"
