"That's... just really strange..." Sophia answered back as she simply scratched her head. "Just seems like something that shouldn't be possible."

Seras had gotten dressed, and decided to go back outside. She happened to notice her swords while she was dressing and realized that she didn't really know how to use them, which could prove dangerous if she was facing a skilled opponent. She walked over to the group with the intent to ask if any of them had such training.

<color=brown>"The Wright Brothers thought a flying machine wouldn't be possible, and yet we have a network of airports for airplanes and jets. And they were the ones who would invent the plane. There are also plenty of discoveries out there that surprise scientists as well."

<color=brown>"Let's see.... what else is here? Oh this looks interesting." And she pulled up the audio and text files on Phazon.

"Does anyone know how to use a sword?" Seras decided to ask the group at large.

[color=003399]"I don't know, but I should probably learn how. Why do you ask?"[/color] Joel replied.

"I want to learn how to use one." Seras said to both Joel and Sara. "Would you mind teaching Joel and I?" she asked.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"I suppose I could do that. Either today or tomorrow would be good when I'm in proper clothing." She said, chuckling, indicating that she was still in her swimwear. She scrolled through other pieces of information while the phazon data loaded. Her sword was being used to display a holographic screen.

"I'd appreciate that very much." Seras said as she smiled at Sara to show her gratitude.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"You're most welcome. Quick question: What kind of sword are you using?"

 

[Zepherus14]

"God it's hot..." Sophia let out a large huff as she looked back over to the ocean. "I'll be back in a second, Winona." Sophia said as she headed over to the ocean to cool off some more.

Shortly after, Sophia came back dripping wet, but looking rather relieved. "That really helped." She mused, rubbing some of the water away from her face. "So what exactly are you looking at now Sara?" Sophia asked as she came up a bit closer to see what all was going on.

"Uh, it's one of those swords we got from Desperado. But I also have a katana." Seras said.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Oh, I was looking at some data about this phazon that Samus has shown me. It's interesting. It lists many things about this material that has spread nearly everywhere across her galaxy."

 

[ShindoL Shill]

[color=003399]"No idea what type of sword I've got. One moment."[/color] Joel said, before heading back into the ship.

[color=006d5b]"I might be able to help, too. I'm more of a shooter, though."[/color] Matilda chimed in.

 

[Slenn]

Sara rubbed her chin.
<color=brown>"I suppose I could try the katana format my sword has. It hasn't been used in a while, but it should work for the purposes of your exercises. It'll transform much in the same way EMily's Photon can format itself into a tablet."

Seras looked at Matilda, seeming to notice that she didn't really know who she was. "I'm sorry, I don't think we've met." she said to her.

"Would you like to see my HF blade?" Seras asked Sara next, thinking that might make a difference with training.

 

[Zepherus14]

"Anything worth sharing about it, or... Oh, how was your swim with Steve? You guys really seemed pretty experienced with that sort of thing." Sophia said as she glanced at the screen Sara had up before looking to her face instead.

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Sure thing. I'll need to handle it as well to get an idea of its weight. Is it much like a katana?"

 

[Slenn]

<color=brown>"Well it's radioactive. I also found out that it can has many different forms it can take. Much in the same way pure carbon can take on many different forms such as coal, graphite, and diamonds. It can be crystals, a liquid, sometimes even life forms if there's enough. It can also be fused or used to alter life forms. Sounds like mad-science written all over it."

She sighed in nostalgia.
<color=brown>"As for the swim, I loved it. I haven't felt that good in ages. I love working out."
