Seras and Faro entered the ship as well. They began familiarizing themselves with their new weaponry, even starting to take them apart slowly to get a better feel for them.

Having gone to explore the city of Cadiz a little further, Joanna had been in the streets when the city came under attack by colossal warriors composed entirely of metal, and was forced to fight and flee her way back to the beach. There she found the gorup being routed, and only barely managed to rejoin them before they left. She had been quiet since then, shocked by the size and indomitable force of the attackers and spent much of her time on the ship, or spent time outside practicing forms with her blades. As the time went on, her mood had declined. More alarmingly, she felt that her thoughts were becoming more absent as well.

When she found that the group were rousing themselves to a purpose however, she was rejuvenated, and spent much of the morning sharpening and polishing her swords til they gleamed like silver. When she emerged from wherever she had chosen to hide away, those who had come to know her a little would see more of a spring in her step. Learning of the plans, she quickly gravitated towards the group chosen by Seras, as she found the placid star warrior's presence to be reassuring given their previous discussion. She was also more certain that this group would welcome her, as it included Faro, Seras and the new wolf woman.

On the morning of their departure, Steve also rendezvoused with the group, screaming up to the ship's landing site on his Harley Davidson. He had strode in brusquely, apparently alarmed, but soon relaxed when he found the others. He apologised sincerely for his absence when Cadiz came under attack and promised to be present from that point on. After all, if someone was willing to unleash such weapons on a civilian population, it was everyone's responsibility to do their part and bring them to justice.

Joanna smiled at Samus as she voiced her concern.
"I am still myself, if that is what you mean." She replied, and raised a hand in greeting to Kenna she spoke, her expression similarly welcoming. She had been quietly grateful to the woman for her easy acceptance of Joanna's nature when she had been first introduced to the group at large, though they had not spoken. Indeed, among the few people preparing to travel to the place they called Australia, she felt almost normal for the first time in a while.

Seras walked over to Steve and looked him over. "Hi, uh...Mr. Rogers..." she said, giggling a bit at that despite the situation. She tried to get control over herself again and asked, "So are you okay?"

"Because beforecoming here, my associate and I worked on collecting the destroyed automatons in the south-west of the city." Elm answered Jinzi, unmoving. "Our objective is to collect extra-dimensional elements, which this vehicle based factory and the automatons produced thereby--" It continued, motioning over to the various destroyed Scout-bots in the vicinity. "--are. If you have a problem with that, I suggest you take it up with the United Nations Committee for Extraterrestrial Relations and Emergency Measures."

At that moment, Steve ducked in as well, behind Joanna.
"Hey. I'm not late, am I?" He asked. Gone were his unassuming motorcycle leathers. Now he wore an antique looking US paratrooper's jumpsuit, in faded blue with white and red stripes and a star. On his left arm was a wide, discoid shield, between 4 and 5 feet in diameter, coloured in concentric circles of red and white. It was bossed with another large, white star. The shield was streaked with bare metal and burn marks, and had clearly been tested in conflict. Steve's hair was combed down and away from his face, and his face was more set and grim. While the man the group had first met on the beach might have been mistaken for a footballer or an actor, the man that stood among this group had the unquestionable demeanour of a soldier. When Seras approached him however, his face softened again into the one she had first seen, and a smile crossed his face.

"Hey Seras! I'm just glad I was able to catch you guys. I... I'm sorry I wasn't around. At Cadiz, I mean. I only ever meant to rest there for a while, but when I heard that the city was attacked, I wished that I had stayed."

"I'm sure there was more we all could have done..." Seras said, thinking about the casualties that had likely been wrought by that attack. "But we just have to do better from now on. We can't let something like that happen again." she said as she looked up at him, being as resolute and determined as possible. While she didn't have the air of professionalism you might expect from a former officer of the law, she did seem to care very deeply about protecting the innocents from this scourge.

"I am just glad that we can move now. That we can do something... anything." Joanna continued, taking her seat with the others. "I must have attended to the maintenance of my weapons 5 times today. And I only remembered having done it twice."

"No, you're right. We can't. But we're not going to let it. Whatever is in our power to do, we'll get it done. Nothing more, nothing less." Steve smiled and clapped a hand on Seras's shoulder, gently enough to avoid causing her any injury. "But aside from that, I'm just glad to see that you all got out of there alright! I saw the news footage. You must be well able to take care of yourself. I'll be interested to see what you can do firsthand."

"What happened here was an invasion of unknown origins. Who we are, and what we belong to, is classified. I respectfully ask that all of you leave the area immediately, or we will remove you by force." The sergeant said all this in a calm voice, and his full-face helmet made reading his expressions impossible. The same went for the medic, Taylor, who glanced at all the others while discussing with the other two squad members further back how they should take the strangers down, if needed.
OoC: Apologies once again for disappearing. I had stuff that I needed to do and my computer shut off, which is why I did not let you guys know.

"Well, we didn't get out unscathed, but we all made it, yeah." Seras said. She actually managed to not move at all as Steve gave her a pat, belying her super strength.

"Bats hurt." Faro said as he rubbed his jaw. Then he went back to his guns.

"Anyway, right now we're working with some mercenaries that have been fighting these robots before. Right now we have to get some caches of some rare element, and pick up some more of the mercenaries. Would you like to come to Australia with us?" Seras explained to Steve, then gestured back at the ship.

<color=brown>"We'll be fine. It's not super cold there. But we'll be okay. EMily will be acting as a radiator."

The sisters arrived with Medic via the teleporter to Moscow.

<color=purple>"A nice teleport, I must say."

The sisters took in their surroundings, figuring out where in Moscow they were.

"Fffiine, jesus you are such a bore!" Jinzi moaned, almost flipping over in the air before buzzing over to Azmot."I will be happy to, but I would like to insist on one thing." Azmot said as he tilted his head back to see Jinzi coming towards him, giving her a wave. "You see there was a situation similar to this where we stuck our heads out to help protect the public, and just like it is now, the authorities came shooed us away and took credit for our work." He explained, trying to be as understanding and diplomatic about this situation. "Long story short, I would appreciate that this situation here doesn't end like it did before, and that credit was handed where credit was due." He said, basically asking that if there was any rewards or recognition involved with this event, the two would have liked to receive it.

"Otherwise I will allow your officers to get to work as they will, and we can be on our separate ways. I believe that is a reasonable request for stopping this thing for your people."

"Sounds like fun. I've never been to Australia. And I've spent all the time I ever want to up in the Arctic Circle." Steve replied, glancing in the direction of the Siberian group. "I'll definitely go along." He glanced in Faro's direction as he spoke up, then back to Seras.
"Do they?" He remarked, then, remembering how obviously sensitive Seras had been about her vampirism just before he left, decided to try and approach the subject tenderly. He hadn't had the chance to speak since she blurted out her condition and rushed into the ship. "I mean... are they particularly dangerous to you two?"

"Usually, as many times as it takes until it calms my nerves." Joanna joked to Kenna, though her humour was obviousy weak. "Though in the last couple of days, my memory has not been the most reliable. My mind is starting to drift a bit. That is why I am so eager to begin our quest. It may be that I can... keep it sustained."

"Thank you for your cooperation." Elm responded plainly as Jinzi flew away. Sam silently snickered as Jinzy flew off, not because his helmet speaker was muted, but because he didn't force the bodily reaction like he normally did.

"Let's get to work." Elm said to Sam, then hovered towards the carrier, Elm idly following, whilst glancing towards what squad members were vissible, half wondering if Elm was correct in assuming they were on the same side as it and himself.

"Okay, I guess I'll step on this rapidly spinning metal bar..." Alain said before he stepped on the teleporter and appeared in Moscow.

"Ah, wunderbar! I'm so glad you could join us!" Medic greeted the Mason sisters, Alain, Joel, and whoever else took the teleporter. As they looked around, they would see that they were in a small, unfurnished apartment. Looking out the window would reveal that there was an alley right outside, but not much else was visible.

"Not unless they're made of silver. In fact they hurt us less. But when you're beaten by dozens of them at the same time, they still hurt." Seras said as she walked back into the ship, then gestured for Steve to follow so they could get going.
