Before heading through to Moscow, Joel got his coat and gloves from the ship, more to cover his sword and mechanical arm than to protect himself from the cold.

"Yes. Stealing a car should not be difficult." Medic said gleefully, readying his crossbow as he began to walk outside.

"Right. If you ever need something to focus on, I'd be up for a spar." Kenna said, rolling her shoulders.

Sophia watched as the others stepped onto the teleporter, nodding as Sara explained what was waiting on the other side. Sophia took the time to remove a winter coat from her bag, and reluctantly took a pair of boots out as well. She put the coat on, but held onto the boots, wanting to see what was on the other side first. She then stepped onto the teleporter before being wisked away to the apartment everyone was standing it.

"So this is Moscow? Roomy, I guess." She said as she looked around, before looking down at the teleporter and then stepped off of it.

"I see."" Steve remarked. In his head, he could see an image of Seras and the others getting bludgeoned to the gorund by overwhelming opposition and cringed. If he'd been present, he might have been able to make a difference. At the very least, the invaders would have had one extra, sturdy body to expend their strength on. "So, bullets? Knives? Deep water? Are vampires as difficult to kill as they were in all the old movies?"

"Maybe." Joanna said, although she looked uncertain. "I was under the impression that people in this world do not generally know how to fight with a sword though. And even if you do, well... I need to find real combat more than I need to blow off steam. You know..."

"I suggest you inform the local government of your efforts. Perhaps they will give you a reward." He looked over at Taylor and spoke to her, using a private radio channel. "Get the robot and his companion out of here." Taylor began to move towards the tank and pointed at Elm. "You two, leave the area at once."

The sergeant then opened a channel to the entire squad, those further back new orders. "Ignatyev, Phaesan, move up but keep in cover."

Phaesan vaulted the car and moved up. If anyone with sharp eyes were to look at her, they would likely notice her raptor-like feet.

"Fair enough. And I don't use a sword, but as long as it's not silver, I can keep up with one." Kenna boasted.

"I use two. And I am fast. Castle trained, though I cannot remember who the Master at Arms was, nor would you know of him if I could. Are you so certain that you could keep pace with me enough to guarantee that you could not be hurt?" Joanna asked. "And I do not know of any way that silver may be used to quicken the movement of a blade. Why does that make a difference?"

Hearing Taylor, Elm turned around to face her, Sam doing so a moment later. "We are permitted to be operate in this area. We're to retrieve this object." It stated once fully turned, then hovering in place. "I don't know what agency governs your squat, but I'm not aware of any whose authority overrules the one that sanctioned our presence."

After Sam turned, he saw Pheasan move in the dark, cocking his head by a near-unnoticeable margin, and cocked and cocked an eyebrow. [color=edc393]The hell? This is going to get confusing.[/color]

"I can garuntee it. I wasn't taught directly, but I've figured enough from wrestling, MMA and martial arts movies to hold my ground. Plus I'm fast too. And silver doesn't quicken weapons, but... Being a werewolf makes me a bit tougher and faster, and normal weapons don't hurt as much , but silver is like fire to me. I can't even touch the stuff." The last line out of Kenna's mouth seemed especially bitter, a far cry from her earlier confidence.

Joanna's face was utterly blank as Kenna described her self-taught fighting style.
"Are those useful in a fight?" She asked. In response to to Kenna's disgust at the idea of silver she patted one of her swords, the elegant, curved scimitar.
"My blades are forged steel and titanite, nothing more. I do carry some silver with me, but it is mostly jewellery, with some enchantments. I do not frequently wear them."

"We are pretty tough, especially if you don't have the proper equipment." Seras said with a smile.

The Mercenaries arrived in an empty tool shed in Hong Kong after taking the teleporter. "Hey Scout, why don'tcha get us a car?" Engineer asked.

"Alright then, we can leave it to you then. Try not to get that thing running again, would you?" Azmot agreed as he turned to Jinzi. "Ready to go?" He asked her.

[color=00c0c0]"Ya, whatever. Stupid boring robot can do whatever it wanted with the stupid ship for all I care."[/color] She said as she hovered above Azmot's head, resting her arms and head on his. Her head popped up however when she heard the one soldier calling out to the two Jinzi had just left. [color=00c0c0]"Those fucking lying cocksuckers!"[/color] Almost out of habit Azmot raised his arms up, and grabbed Jinzi's arms before she managed to fly away. [color=00c0c0]"Come on Azmot, lemme at 'em. That bucket deserves it!"[/color] She called out.

"Come on, let's just let these humans do their jobs and we'll do ours. We need to go talk with the gov here apparently, and we might as well check the bounty shop too." He mused, starting to walk away as Jinzi tried to tug away from him. They'd be off the beach in no time.

"Steal what sorry? Where's this heavy guy?" Sophia said as she zipped up her coat a little tighter.

"Oh yeah! I got dis! I grew up in the streets! I can easily hotwire anything! He said before going off and well hotwiring a car.

Taylor raised her rifle ever so slightly. "This is a sake of wartime security. Leave now, or we will use force." As she spoke, the sergeant moved up behind her to support, and Ignatyev took cover roughly twenty metres from the tank.

Steve began to ask if 'proper equipment' meant a wooden stake, but refrained. He didn't want to sound like he was trying to find out how to kill the vampires if necessary, and as they were close enough to hear Joanna speaking to Kenna, he considered that Seras might not like to hear about stakes any more than Kenna liked talking about silver.
"Alright, glad to hear it! I'll be happier out there knowing that most of you guys can take more punishment than a human. Fighting with the Avengers, we didn't really have casualties so much. It was so different to the way things were back in the war. Hopefully we won't have to worry about losing each other today either."
