Faro started shooting the slow moving rockets with incredible accuracy, aiming to hit multiple with one bullet whenever possible.

Seras would dodge whatever rockets remained while reloading her rocket launcher.

Sara took her remaining energy and jammed her sword into the ground, creating a small fission eruption from beneath the carrier. The energy released would be akin to an RPG explosion, but as a column.

EMily fired a lightning bolt at two of the solder-bots.

Gwen used her sense of mass to find any dense rock beneath her. She would chuck them over in combination with the soldiers.

Winona stood behind Sara to gather energy.

Early in the fight, Captain America had been pinned by suppressing fire from a number of Heavy bots and could only crouch behind his shield, unable to move without exposing himself to the torrent of gunfire. Now that they had temporarily lost their line of fire however he rose and began to sprint, aiming to find a better position before they could pin him again. He decided to start by engaging some of the less heavily armed robots to prevent the Heavy bots from targeting him again.

Joanna too had been trapped in cover, stunned by the blistering flak that was drumming against her refuge. Once it abated she darted into the open with her swords drawn, coming to a similar tactical conclusion as the Captain, though her actions were born more of numb, panicked reaction than military savvy.

Cap's charge would take him towards the archers who were firing on the Mason sisters, attempting to flank them before they could open fire on him if possible. Joanna simply moved towards the nearest melee foes, the newly produced demoknights.

Medic moved to Kenna and began overhealing her. "Ze carrier! Tear it apart!"

Seras and Faro avoided blowing up.

EMily's lightning bolt stunned the two soldiers, then Gwen's rock destroyed them.

Sara's magic thing finished off the Soldier carrier, disabling it completely.

Three of the demoknights swung thier claymores at Joanna after she stabbed/cut one of them to death.

Cap would find that the archers were easy to kill up close and killed three of them, but they soon all fired arrows aimed at his chest.

The ten Heavy-bots got around the rocks, and began revving up thier mini guns again.

Another ten Heavy-bots and Huntsman-bots were built.

Joel reloaded the Baby Face's Blaster, then charged at the Huntsman-bots. He fired the shotgun as he approached, and followed it up with another series of punches at the closest Huntsman-bots' heads.

Samus fired on the gaggle of demo knights going after Joanna with a charged, heavy plasma shot. Kenna took a second to let the overheal sink in, then charged past the other demo knights, jumping inside the carrier and going to town on its internal mechanics with her claws.

The Sworder, Several hours earlier, in orbit around Uranus, approaching unidentified ship...
You turn around to your passengers and say that you are now on approach to the target. You add, with a glance out the forward viewport, that it just passed into visual range.

After the Sworder went around Mars and steadied out, Sam spent the rest of the flight looking out of the window, looking rather bored as the sights space quickly lost their novelty. Elm, meanwhile, spent the time going over data sent its way.

When the Sworder reached Uranus, Shara would find the vessel the size of an average container ship, being roughly 1200ft/365m in length. A portion of the front of the ship was bullet-shaped, while the rest was more oval shaped. The oval shape was divided into three segments, connected by a thick tube, with two large - currently inert - rings being located in-between the spaces of the middle segment, connected to the tube via twelve beams. There were no thrusters located
anywhere on the ship.

On the side of the middle segment, words written in a language unknown to all those aboard the Sworder could be seen, arranged in a circle around a logo. The logo itself wouldn't be visible, on account of a foreign vessel being jammed through the hull. Two more similar vessels were jammed on the front, and rear part of the ship, on the opposite side of the ship.

"Finally." said Sam as he rose from his seat. "Seven hours never felt this long..."

Elm also rose from its seat, and hovered next to Shara's seat, looking towards their destination.

Now near the ship, the Sworder would clearly pick up on the signal being sent out.

You begin a scan, analysing both the signal, IR and the EM signature of the ship. While the computer is creating a model, you decide to visually check the foreign vessels. You suspect, considering how many there are, that they are some type of boarding ship. You also put yourself in a slow orbit around the larger ship for the time being. You comment, mostly to yourself, that it seems like they were attacked.

Scanning the ship, the results would show the ship was still radiating heat, the signature of the thermal radiation suggesting the interior was fairly hot. Scanning for EM signatures would show the radio transmission came from the back of the ship. Furthermore, it would pick up on two magnetic fields; a reasonably high powered one surrounding the ship, and a weaker one inside, also coming from the rear.
Now closer to the ship, Shara might see four airlocks, located on each side of the ship, one on both the middle and rear segment, and two at the front. In addition, she would see the numerous viewports, but no light could be seen through most of them.

Looking over the vessels jammed into the sides of the ship, Shara would find they were roughly twenty metres wide, and polygonal in shape. At the end of the, were a trio of thrusters. Rather then the exterior being covered by large plates, they were covered by numerous square ones, each half a metre across. Due to being lodged inside the ship, the exact length of the vessels would be unknown.

"This was indeed our assumption. However, going by that assumption makes the fact that the craft has not left the orbit of this planet ever since appearing in this universe odd." Elm commented. "How long will it be until scans are complete?"

Sam stood by, placing his right forearm on the back of Shara's seat, leaning forward while looking the ship over.

You say that it will not take long, and you will guide the ship into a docking position at the front in the meantime. Indeed, a few minutes later the computer chimed. You press a few buttons and get a holographic display up, in thermal. It shows a model of the ship, showing that it is still heated, and has a magnetic field. Knowing your passengers probably do not know how to read your instruments, you explain to them that the ship still has power, but the engines have cooled. You add that the ship does not have gravity, and you suspect certain sections are sealed off due to hull breaches.

You then tell Elm that you doubt the ship can fly anywhere with those boarding ships lodged in it's hull, the damage that could cause would be immense. As you commence final approach, you check if your computer has managed to get anything from the signal, and if so what. You then click your own mic and send a transmission on all frequencies, stating the name of you and your vessel. Continuing, you say that the ship appears to be in distress, and you are requesting permission to board.

Unfortunetly for Joel, there were twice as many Huntsman bots firing at him while he reloaded, so he would likely take a few hits. Once he charged in, however, they found it hard it hit him while he was in the midst of them. With his gun blasting and fist...punching, he managed to take out 17 of them. The ones left were all still shooting at him. They were the ones who happened to further away from Joel.

Samus' shot obliterated 6 of the nine knight bots that were chasing Joanna. The three left were still chasing her. Kenna charged into the carrier's inner workings and started tearing it up. She didn't do all that much damage to the machinery. The three knightbots were swinging at Joanna now.

Going by the holographic image, it could be seen the heat inside the ship was mostly evenly distributed, with most areas being a balmy 72º Celsius/161º Fahrenheit. In the areas where there were viewports, the temperature was a few degrees lower, while the areas where the ship was breached by the foreign vessels, as well as the lower section of the middle segment, and partial lower section of the rear section were the coolest.

"No gravity, huh? This will be fun." Sam commented as he heard Shara's explanation, mostly speaking to himself.

"That's a probability." Elm responded. "Perhaps a damage report could be uncovered on the bridge. Heading there will be first on the plan of action."

The computer would find the radio signal was a pre-recorded, as shown by the fact that the sound wavelengths were the same every time. The message would lasted forty three seconds, containing short bursts of noise most resembling tuning an old radio. The noises were short, and different in pitch. The level of reverb in the recording suggested the recording was made in a small space.

There would be no response to Shara's broadcast.

Captain America found himself fighting side by side with Joel as the Elemental charged into the same group as he had. Following his astounding show of destruction, the Captain found himself without any targets to strike up close. Noticing that the two remaining targets were just beyond the effective range of Joel's shotgun, he took a short run closer to them before hurling his shield. The disc flew through the air with surprising grace and speed before striking one of the huntsmen in the face. He had also aimed the shot so that between the angle it struck at and the spin on the shield, it would ricochet towards the second target.

"Get to cover!" He shouted, not forgetting the Heavies that he had planned to use the Huntsmen as cover against.

Joanna flinched as Samus's plasma shot ripped away the demoknights that she had been about to engage. Worse, she realised with dismay, the one that she had managed to strike down herself had expired without divesting itself of anything resembling a soul. Whatever these things were, they were not the prey that she so desperately needed to sustain her failing mind. She forced the despair aside however as she saw that Kenna was vulnerable to attack as she worked. Sprinting lightly towards the carrier that the wolf woman was attempting to destroy, Joanna sprang up into the breach with a single step.

Her momentum lending strength to her arm, she drove the tip of her straight edged arming sword into the small of one demoknight's back, before pirouetting on her toes like a dancer and whipping her scimitar in a complex flurry of deadly slicing blows around her head, aiming at the necks of the other two foes.

You click your microphone again, saying that you are assuming the ship is disabled and in need of assistance. As you make the final approach you say that you will board and look for survivors. After clicking the mic off again, you tell Elm that you will need to suit up first, as the temperature inside is far too high for you, at 70 degrees.

Sam continued looking out of the viewport as the Sworder approached the ship, stepping away from Shara's seat, and lowered his faceplate, expecting there would be a confrontation at some point after boarding the ship. He stood by, lightly rolling his shoulders, while waiting for the Sworder to dock.

"Very well. My cooling systems will be able to keep my temperature at an acceptable level, while Silence - or, if you please, Samuel - will be unaffected."

Shara's second broadcast would also be met with silence.

There were a series of protrusions around the airlock, meant to connect the airlocks of compatible vessels, while two circular protrusions were located besides the airlock, meant for a craft to lock on to.

Seras saw that the soldier carrier was disabled and Kenna was inside the demoknight carrier, so she started shooting the heavy carrier with her rocket launcher.

Faro began shooting heavy bots, trying to take them down before they could get their guns started up.

As your airlock is not of the same type, you are not able to connect. Instead, to satisfy yourself by locking up against the hull using magnetic fields. A loud and dull clang echoes through your ship as you make contact with one of the front docking port with your own rear airlock. You then stand up and head back to get your suit. You quickly put it on, and seal your armour-vest over it. With your helmet on, very conscious about the large glass visor in it, you step into the airlock and wait for the other two.

OoC: Off for the night.

Elm floated over into the airlock while Shara was putting on her suit, and stood by.

Behind his faceplate, Sam winced slightly at the noise produced by the Sworder locking into place. While waiting for Shara to get into her suit, he drew his sword and glanced at it, wondering how difficult it would be to fight in a zero gravity environment, as well as what kind of hostiles he would encounter.

"Now, that's just disappointing." Sam commented jokingly as he saw Shara walk out in her suit, walking with Shara into the airlock. "I expected more glowly bits. No space age object is complete without that."

You blink, slightly confused by Sam's statement. You shake your head and close the airlock behind you, and activate the lights on your own suit. The visor lit up, clearly showing your face. Fiddling with the controls, you designate a frequency for communication, then set your own suit to it.

With everything ready, you activate the airlock. The air is sucked out over the course of a few minutes, then a light on the outer hatch flicks green and it slides open. You are, as always, fascinated by the strange nature of sound - you only hear things that vibrate through your boots. You step forward, activating lights on your helmet to investigate the other airlock.
