Stanley quickly jaunted behind the merman, before jaunting in front of it, then behind... He pretty much did nothing but this, being a huge annoyance to all the mermaids, popping in front of them, then being gone a second later, though there would be a 1.5 second /pause between jumps.
Seras didn't look all that happy to see the spear again, so she and Yorick quickly left and continued their wandering. Yorick began whistling again, since stealth was clearly not an option anymore.
Samus took the shot at the merman attacking Stanley, making sure not to hit him or the hostage. The energy ball would likely punch a hole straight though the fish man. As soon as the shot was fired, she turned to the stunned ones, peppering them with fire but still taking time between shots and aiming carefully to make sure she wasn't hitting the hostages.
Yorick and Seras were a little less lost, but they still weren't able to find a door.

EMily crushed her new target. Now that two of the three merfolk among the hostages were dying, and the third was occupied fighting Stanley, the hostages began moving to the side of the room, away from the fighting. EMily would notice that less than a quarter of the hostages had been killed.

Samus looked around for a new target, moving over to the injured hostage as she did so. Though her eyes and gun were still scanning the room, her free hand moved to try and cover the wound.

Seeing that the mermen were loosing some footing, she moved forward.
"Press the attack!"
EMily used Photon to cast a shield formed by quantum mechanically locking the air into a repulsive bubble using EM fields. This would slow down any incoming attacks. She moved inward and used a powerful magnetic field to push away the spearmen that was attacking Samus against the hard wall.

The spear clashed against Samus' armour, leaving a deep stab in her chestplate and even getting through to her Zero Suit and drawing blood, but EMily pushed the spearman back before she could be seriously wounded. She opened fire on the pinned fishman, aiming for the head to finish him off quickly.
Seras and Yorick didn't make much progress.

EMily would hear loud footsteps, then see a large axe being swung at her from the side, coming towards her throat. Due to her bubble, it prevented the axe from moving fast enough to remove her head, however it would probably still hurt if the blow connected.

Feeling the presence of a conductor (the metal axe) quickly coming at her from the side, she rolled out of the way of the blow. She was now to the side of the merman's view. Her energy at her max value, she then attempted the same magnetic crush against the axe wielder.
Seras and Yorick found themselves outside.
The large merman swung his axe at Samus back before EMily's attack caused him to fall to his knees. Due to his larger figure, the attack didn't work as fast as it had on the other merfolk.

The chestplate, already damaged, gave way more easily this time, and the spear stabbed though it and into Samus' flesh, leaving a light but bloody wound. She retreated, grunting in pain, then grabbed the spear, used it to draw the fishman in, and delivered a pointblank explosive blast in his face.
Seras and Yorick successfully walked around the building. They managed to find the front entrance.
Samus and EMily both finished off their targets.
The police officers simply stared in shock. one asked, sounding clearly impressed.
