EMily sprinted over to Samus. She donated a fraction of her energy to help.
"I'm only at a third of my maximum energy. Please tell me if you need more. Also Winona is about to activate her QFT form. She'll glow bright green and aim at one of the carriers. Her muon beam can penetrate through armor. She'll still have some time to get a target set. If you want to tag team with her, now's your chance. What do you have in mind?"

After EMily spoke, Samus could see in the distance Winona flashing bright green, indicating she was in her QFT form. Gwen tossed Winona high into the air, where Winona would hover in place to get her bearings. But as she had just activated her heightened form, she couldn't attack at the moment.

Sara stood by to help protect Winona in necessary.

As Joel set to tearing apart the inner workings of their chosen carrier, Steve planted his shield in the aperture behind them and faced the Huntsmen robots.
"Who's first?" He challenged them with a grin.

In the other carrier, Joanna laid into the Demoknights. Parrying two simultaneous blows with her swords, she sprang from the balls of her feet into the air, planted both feet against the chest of one knight before thrusting it away and aiming a flying kick at the head of its partner. With both robots hopefully sent reeling, she aimed a couple of darting blows at the ones that were going for Kenna. Though there were too many for her to line up a blow accurate enough to bypass their armour, which was too strong for her to pierce, she hoped to aggravate them enough to make them pursue her from the carrier. As the first two knights recovered, she dropped out of the carrier, trying to lead all four of them outside.

OOC: How wide are the entrances to the carriers? If they're not wider than two men standing abreast then Cap can hold the gap by himself while Joel works without any serious fighting.

Two Heavy bots focused their fire on the vampires, while the third began shooting at Winona. After a while, however, they fell, with some additional assistance from Zhanna.

Five of the Huntsman-bots began shooting at the Mason sisters and Samus. The final two Huntsman bots turned towards Steve and shot arrows at him.

One Demoknight-bot charged at Joanna. If its shield connected with her, it would attempt to bring its large sword down on her head.

The other Demoknight-bot Joanna had kicked also charged, this time at Kenna. Meanwhile, the other two robots continued beating the werewolf with their swords.

When the next load of robots were produced, Kenna's ongoing attacks destroyed one Demoknight-bot. The rest, however, were safe, and went for the Mason sisters, Samus and anyone else outside.

The new Huntsman-bots split their focus between Joel and Cap.

"Tell Winona to attack the Huntsman carrier. Try and aim through the door, at its internal workings." Samus ordered EMily. She rolled to dodge the incoming huntsman arrows, then got on one knee, aiming at the Demoknight carrier. A series of rings opened up around her arm cannon and floated in place as the barrel split open, glowing. "Everyone out of the way!" she yelled towards the Demoknight carrier.

Kenna, turning as she ripped something sciency looking and hopefully important out of the wall, heard and saw Samus announcing the attack. "Holy-!" She grabbed the Medic, jumping out of the door of the giant vehicle and landing in a heap with the doctor outside.

Samus diverted all of her suit's energy, plus the energy from Emily, into her cannon, overclocking the weapon. She fired. A gigantic blue laser beam, about the size of a van, flew from the barrel towards the carrier. Passing by Joanna, Kenna and the Medic, it bored into the carrier's workings, burning a gigantic hole through the tank. The vehicle was gutted, with armour, motor, fuel and the assembly line all left a charred mess of twisted, glowing metal. Samus fell forward, barely keeping herself from collapsing completely with her free arm, as her armour crumbled and fell away before vanishing.

Samus' giant laser beam caused the carrier to explode spectacularly, with all the shrapnel miraculously missing the group members. A Demoknight-bot head landed next to Samus, the light in its eye fading.

Kenna managed to push past the Demoknight-bots and escape the carrier before getting exploded.

Joel grabbed a newly-made Huntsman-bot and angrily smashed it into the important bits of the carrier. This destroyed the robot being used as a weapon, and another couple were wrecked in Joel's wild attacks.

The other Huntsman-bots shot at Cap while Joel was pre-occupied, two from the front and the rest from the back.

One Demoknight-bot went for Samus, intending to decapitate her while she was less defended. Another moved to attack Kenna and the Medic while they were still down.

Captain America took the arrows from the first two Huntsmen on his shield before the others had been produced. One arrow simply spun away, but as the second one bounced off, he reached out with lightning speed and seized it with his free hand. Drawing it back, he flung it at the Huntsman who had fired it, his enhanced strength giving it the same momentum as a throwing knife used by a normal man. He meant to follow up by decapitating the second with his thrown shield, but at that moment the others appeared and opened fire on him. Hearing them arrive he whirled around, and arrows clattered from his shield with a steady rhythm. Moving sideways behind the door so that the survivor outside couldn't hit him, he hunched behind the shield and barrelled headlong into the cluster of archers.

Joanna was thrown to the ground by the shield hammering into her guard. She landed hard with a gasp, but rolled to the side to avoid the demoknight's downward sweep. Lashing out to the side with her scimitar, she slashed into the knight's extended wrist before delivering a piercing follow-up thrust beneath its jawline with her straightsword, all while still lying on the ground.

Winona flew down once she felt some impacts from shots coming at her. The pain was negligible since she was in the equivalent of a trance. Even so, she put herself, along with Gwen, behind Sara, who took the brunt of the attack. Sara would also counted any melee moves against her with her sword. Gwen created upheavals of rock and earth and tossed them at huntsman. EMily fired three lightning bolts to support.

EMily nodded and moved
"Winona, come over to where I am! Target the inside of the huntsman carrier from the door's opening! "

Winona and the other sisters sprinted over to where EMily was. In a rare moment, Winona stood in front of the pack. Her legs were spread wide apart in an aggressive stance, and her arms were extended forward with her palms both facing outward. And from that came a growing teal light. She took aim at the carrier.

<color=green>"Gwen, I need some input on the masses."
<color=purple>"Roger." And Gwen projected a holographic mass diagram in front of Winona with Graviton, displaying the various masses Gwen was sensing. With the information provided, she could do what she's best at: flavor changing.

<color=green>"By the powers invested in me, I call upon the technique of flavor changing neutral currents! Suppress the mechanisms that suppress IT! Turn the atomic electrons into penetrating muons! Bethe-Bloche formula, ignite this carrier!"

And from her hands came out an invisible beam of muons that wasn't apparent until they hit something. The muons were created at just the right energy to create the equivalent of an invisible white-hot lance that would melt anything in its way. Whatever they would hit would be severely damaged by the heat. In this case it was the production facilities that were exposed.

"No, that's alright." Steve replied, though he paused before continuing, and looked as though he wasn't sure how to answer the question.
"I... at one time there was. Peggy Carter. She was an British Intelligence operative during the war. The first woman that I ever asked to a dance. Ever had the courage to anyway. She was... quite a woman." A small smile crossed his face as he thought back. "Beautiful, with auburn hair, blood red lips, heck of a figure too. And she was as sharp as anyone I've met. But... we never got to have that dance. I went into the ice and never made it home. The last time I saw her she was in palliative care, and on the way out." He was quiet for a few moments after that.
"After that, I don't know. I've spent a lot of time with one of my fellow Avengers. I won't give you her name, but she was an ex KGB agent, code named Black Widow. Stunning, an impressive intellect in her own right, and she might actually be a good friend... but somehow I don't see her as relationship material. I think we'd disagree too much. Apart from that, no one springs to mind. Na... Black Widow has tried to set me up with a few people, but like I say, I just never really seized an opportunity." He shrugged, and returned his eyes to Seras.
"What about you? Does anyone in particular have your eye?"

Seras and Faro began shooting at the huntsmen bots.

Previous:

"Sorry to hear about Peggy." Seras said, wanting to be consoling. She didn't have to think very hard about his question. "No, not really." she said, looking away from Steve, feeling a little embarrassed about her answer. Pip crossed her mind, but she quickly decided she had no interest in him.

OOC: Grouping has been suspended, since I'm GMing all of group 1 now.

Joanna managed to finish off the Demoknight-bot, however another moved to attack her.

Cap took down the Huntsman-bots that Joel wasn't fighting with, their arrows bouncing off his shield. Some of the arrows hit exposed wires and vulnerable gears, damaging the carrier a little more. As Cap charged through, the robots were knocked to the side, doing some more damage to the surroundings.

Joel, meanwhile, left the first Huntsman-bot head-first in a machine. He moved to grab another, and repeated his actions from before.

Winona's Muon beam damaged the insides of the carrier an incredible amount, with the total damage leaving it with a single robot-producing machine.

Gwen's rocks, combined with Seras and Faro's gunfire, took down the remaining Huntsman-bot.

Sara and EMily took down a pair of Demoknight-bots, including the one about to kill Samus. However, one the remaining ones charged at Seras and Faro, intending to stun Seras and decapitate them both with a swing of its large claymore.

The final Demoknight-bot moved to attack Joanna as she was getting up, also going for a decapitation as per usual.

Rising nimbly to her feet, Joanna readied herself for the first demoknight's attack as it approached. She realised now that while these contraptions had no soul to give her, they attacked in an extremely predictable fashion, and were not nearly as fast or fluid as a living opponent. When the demoknight went for an overhead slash as the previous ones had done, she sidestepped around it and severed the bot's arm at the elbow with an upward strike. As it pivoted to face her, she crossed her blades at it's throat and scissored them apart, slicing through the fragile neck joint. The demoknight fell, and she stood over it with a frown, her thoughts returning to the issue of souls now that the battle was at an end.

As it approached from behind, she did not notice that the final demoknight had broken off to attack her.

Samus sat up, trying to recover, and noticed the robotic knight behind Joanna. "Behind you!" she yelled to the swordswoman.

Joanna turned at Samus's warning, only to find the demoknight right on top of her with its sword raised. She cired out in shock and flinched away, trying to bring her swords up to guard, but it was too late. The robot's blade skimmed right over the curved tip of her scimitar and bit into her neck, tearing through her carotid artery and trachea. She stumbled back from the bloody edge, dropping her swords and one hand going to her ruined throat. Then her knees folded beneath her and she fell, her face white and gasping for breath.

Previously:
"It's in the past. Nothing that can be done about it now." Steve answered resignedly. He waited for Seras to reply, watching her reaction.
"So, when should I start prying deeper for more of your story? Now or later?" he asked jokingly.

Matilda let Sophia pull her away without resisting. [color=006d5b]"There's more outside, remember."[/color] she said, not wanting Sophia to accidentally run towards a bigger threat.

Seras smiled genuinely at Steve. "Sorry. You must be able to tell why I don't talk to people much. When it comes to my own life, everything is either boring or..." Seras stopped to clear her throat nervously. "...uncomfortable." After she finished, Seras began to think more about the situation. Steve had discussed some heavy topics from his own life already, and yet she was staying tight lipped about much of her short life. She thought she was protecting him from her unfortunate past, but she was really just hiding from it herself, she realized. She began to wonder if she should be more open and let come what may.

"I understand." Steve replied. "If you'd rather keep quiet about this stuff, then I'm not going to force it out of you. If you ever feel like you want to open up about it though, I'll listen."

The bots rushed into the room, the first two lunging forward to stab at both of their quarries. The other four followed behind, running to get at around the flank.

Samus drew her paralyser, letting off a quick shot, but it went wild.

Kenna looked up from where she had fallen with the Medic, seeing the bot standing over Joanna. She leapt up, sprinting at full tilt to barge into it and knock it over. When it was out of the way, she looked down at Joanna's massive wound. "Doc, over here!" she shouted to the medic, then knelt. She shifted back to human and put her hands on the wound, doing what she could to stop the bleeding, feeling quite sick and quietly murmuring repeatedly. [sub]"Ohshitohshitohshitohshitohshit..."[/sub]

Joanna's hands were slick with blood as it pulsed through her fingers, and within a few seconds of trying to help her, Kenna's would be too. Kenna had presumably seen people die before, and while Joanna's expression showed the same fear that anyone would, there was something else too. Shame, maybe.
[sub]"Bonfire."[/sub] She gasped, the words all but lost as her own blood flooded her throat. [sub]"I... need...bonf..f" She began to convulse violently, struggling for breath that she could no longer take. A moment later, she was dead, falling still, and then her boady disintegrated to ash beneath Kenna's hands, scattering in the wind and settling in a wide, sticky pool of blood.
