<color=brown>"Gwen! Let's hit the carrier with more slag!"

Gwen heaved a mass of sand from the ground where Sara would superheat it into molten silicate. They tossed it over at the carrier.

<color=purple>"Heads up! Silicate slag incoming at the carrier!" Gwen alerted.

EMily donated some of her energy to Winona by placing her hands on her. They stood by.

Steve shrugged, a little self conscious. Considering how Seras usually acted around him, he suspected he knew where this conversation was going, and wondered if he was leading her on unfairly. Then again, he wondered if he was really leading her on at all. If she expected him to make a move, he wasn't sure if he should, though he didn't think there was any reason not to either. For the first time, he actually found himself wondering what Natascha's thoughts on the matter would be. Certainly she'd been strangely eager to put him out on the scene with various women in S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Well, yeah, it's... a little odd really. I just... I've never felt like I was in a position where I should be thinking about it."

"Acknowledged. Can you determine the cause of death?" Elm asked Shara in turn. The answer would be in the negative, there were no obvious entry or exit wounds, and the corpse was too shrivelled up to determine anything else without specialised equipment.

Pressing the right button on the touch pad, the door slid downwards, revealing a long corridor on the other side. This corridor was rectangular, and after was lit for the most parts, save for some lights flickering on and off. Some clutter was floating through the hallway, most of which were containers of various sizes, holding different types of liquids or powers, while other objects were clothing of various sizes. Said clothes were one pieces, made of a rubbery material. Most were brown in colour, although yellow and red ones could also be seen. The main body was oval shaped, being open on one side with velcro straps to close it, and four holes on the opposite side. On both sides of the body part, were three lengthy legs. Located at what might be the back of the suit, was another hole.

Immediately to Shara's left, there was a door of the same size as the one she came through, as there was on the opposite side of the corridor, and on the left, there. Furthermore, there were seven, smaller doors. Three on Shara's left, four on her right. The fourth door to her left was open, though she couldn't see inside from where she stood.

Seras was clearly not following Steve's train of thought and also didn't seem to fully realize the implications of what she was saying. As far as she was concerned, she was just trying to compliment the man. "I think I know how you feel. Dedication to duty always getting in the way. Or something like that?" she said. She didn't mention that that was hardly the only reason she avoided getting into relationships. She didn't know Steve nearly well enough to get into that area.

The spy-bots continued to follow Sophia, but the door stopped them. There was a clang as one tried to barge through it, which failed. There was silence for a moment, then a multitude of metallic footsteps as the spy-bots spread out in order to find a way around. Soon, something could be vaguely heard from above, over the door. Meanwhile, the one spy-bot who had charged into the door had apparently gotten some screws loose, as it started banging it's head against the door in a steady and slightly ominous rhythm.

Sophia wouldn't have stuck around to see if the door would hold, instead running as she had been. Listening behind her, she'd have an idea that the robots hadn't gotten through the door, but she didn't turn to see if she was right.

As she rounded the next corner, a glint caught her eye as she saw one of Scout's stock bats leaning on the wall ahead, which she took the second to pick up as she continued towards the exit close by Matilda.

Matilda continued moving through the base slowly, heading towards Sophia. There was a faint glow coming from the barrel of her gun.

There were continued, rather soft noises coming from the airducts, but they were mostly drowned out by the metallic banging coming from the door. Meanwhile the six other spy-bots had split up into two groups, and were moving around adjacent corridors to try and get at Sophia.

"I understand." Seras said as she nodded, understanding how Steve probably felt. Though she felt that it wasn't for the same reasons that they both avoided intimate relationships.

"They just don't quit!" Sophia exclaimed as she heard them moving in the rooms next to her. She ducked into another hallway which lead closer to the exit and Matilda, but there was a door the spy bots might try and get through to stop her again.

Steve's charge was effective at getting through the huntsmen bots and even preventing them from firing at him or Joel, but none of them were destroyed. Luckily the inside of the carrier would provide Joel and Steve some cover for the moment.

Joanna was able to easily out fight the jittery, clunking knight bots and dismantled them with ease.

Seras managed to further damage the heavy carrier, and with help from the Mason's it was taken out of commission before it could produce any more bots. Seras continued to outrun the knight bot following her.

The heavy bots firing at Faro shifted their fire to Zhana, who was forced to take cover to avoid being riddled with bullets.

The single knight bot going after Faro continued after him, though even by charging, he was having a hard time keeping up.

Alaine was still charging. I guess.

Thanks to Joanna deflecting the blade strike of the one who had snuck up behind her, Kenna was able to recover from his shield blow and deliver a retaliatory uppercut to the robotic knight that would probably take his head off. After that she turned back to the mechanics, tearing through wires and gears and whatever else look important with her claws, relying on the Medic and Joanna to protect her.

Samus ran forward to meet the charging demo knight head on, activating her boot thrusters to deliver a rocket powered shoulder tackle. After that, she activated the console on her arm cannon, fiddling with a few settings and formulating a plan. "Emily, I need a hand! Can you spare some energy?!" she yelled across the battlefield.

Matilda stopped when she heard Sophia was close by. "Sophia, what's going on?" she called out.

Joel put the Baby Face's Blaster back in his bag, and took out the Ambassador. He used it to pick off the Huntsman-bots at range while he moved inside the carrier, and would then begin bashing the ever-loving fuck out of everything inside.

Joel would start wrecking stuff up pretty good. The huntsmen would start to come after him again though.

Kenna and her claws was also wrecking stuff up in the knight carrier. The four remaining knight bots continued attacking Kenna and Joanna.

Seras and Faro easily dispatched the knight bots easily. Then they started firing at the heavy bots.

A door in front of Sohpia burst open, and three copies, one of EMily, Joel and Kenna charged through. At the same time, a door some bit behind Sophia bust open, and another three copies stormed through. These looked like Seras, Alain and Steve.

Grey dots are Spy-Bots, brown dot is Sophia and the dot at the top is Matilda.

When Sophia heard Matilda's voice again, her head turned to look at the door to her left, making her stop a moment, considering if that way was the way to get out. Her mind was quickly made up as the two groups of robots burst through the doors in front and behind her, leaving the door on the left the only option. "Robot! Robots are everywhere! Where are you?" Sophia exclaimed, not really putting in the time to have a better response as she quickly opened the door to her left and closed the door behind her before moving to the door next to Matilda.

"You're running towards me. I'm to your right." Matilda replied. "There's a lot of those really loud robot-making things right outside."

The door behind Sophia did not hold long, and the six disguised Spy-bots crashed through, once again charging blindly at the ferret-girl.

Sophia had gotten to the door by the time the robots had broken the door. She gripped the handle and swung it open, almost whacking Matilda in the process. Even though she was expecting Matilda to be there, with how many robots had appeared behind the doors it felt weird she'd find her too. "No talk, running now!" Sophia said as she gripped Matilda's lower arm probably more tightly than she should. "They are right behind us!"
