We Are Our Avatars IX: Act V: The Sabotage of the Scandolous Saurian Scoundrels (Open)

[Barbas]

Tokyo, Japan - 12:24AM

Babas padded inquisitively along the cold halls and galleries of the echoing labyrinth, his dusky form sniffing the sterile air. He was not used to such an eerie stillness, especially in a structure this sprawling. There was no dust and no ash, he left no paw prints wherever he went. He appeared to be the only living being here. The same piercing glow was cast down from the orbs above, but now his eyes has adjusted somewhat to the blaze. Sniffing muzzle swaying from left to right, he began to quicken his pace, breaking into a swift trot. He passed perfectly chiseled doorways and ornamented sculptures, all of which began to look the same. The repetition of this place was unnatural, its perfection maddening. He broke into a run, pelting down empty, identical halls, bounding up stairways and around corners, increasingly desperate to escape this aberrant, tortuous maze.

Seras started walking around, a little annoyed that all she had accomplished was getting herself all wet.

 

[Slenn]

EMily turned to anyone that might be interested.
"Does anyone have any interest in staying in a hotel? I might have something to sell to get us some cash. There we can wash up and wring out our clothes. We can check up on Victoria and the crew member at the hospital in the morning."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Samus turned to EMily. "I'll go with you." It beat the police station at least.

 

[Slenn]

"My sister, Sara, gave me some gold beads to sell for whatever the people use for cash here. All we'd have to do now is get to a bank or someone willing to take it. They're marked for 24 karats each. 10-1 gram beads."

Meanwhile At Tokyo Bay. where the water was being washed up on the shore, 3 Bright green orbs started hovering all the waters having a small low pitch humming noise as they floated. they would move slowly as the came up to the shore. [color=3B9C9C]It seems I was too late, oh well Death's door will surely close once more[/color] The 3 orbs spun around slowly as they reached the shore, like they were looking around.

Samus nodded. "Unfortunately, I do not have a map."

 

[Slenn]

"The archives on Earth contained maps of places of all around the globe using satellites. They still exist in my time era. I can upload them on Photon."

She opened up Photon in its tablet format, and showed a detailed map of Tokyo.

OOC: Thank god for Google's archives.

"I see some strangle lights in the distance over there. Could it be another one of our merman enemies?"
She concentrated on her electric and magnetic field sensory to see if anything was peculiar about the green orbs.

The Green orbs continued to spin until they faced in a general direction. [color=3B9C9C]I like something is watching me, how fun...[/color] the orbs started to spin as they floated to the general direction they were facing, which was just a little east from where EMily was. The scan could show the orbs were a living lifeform, but also a dead lifeform.

Samus turned and looked at the orbs, raising her cannon cautiously.

 

[Slenn]

"I feel electrical activity of that of a normal lifeform from it, but I'm not quite sure what it is. I'll try a thermal scan using infrared radiation." Seeing as how they're above water. Her eyes glowed a faint blue once more as she was seeing in the infrared.

The orbs would just continue to float till one of them parted from the others and saw Samus pointing a cannon at them. [color=3B9C9C]is that a spaceman? Oh I've always wanted to see what they're like! Forward![/color] the orb now on it's own would fly to Samus with a small high pitch "E" sound and just hover in front of her, like it was looking at her. all 3 orbs seemed to have something like embers emitting from them, other then that they seemed harmless.

Samus switched to the Scan Visor, wondering just what this thing was.

While the orb was being scanned, the orb would fly around Samus like it was doing it's own sort of scanning. [color=3B9C9C]Metal, possibly weapons, seems to have some sort of intelligence[/color] The other 2 orbs would slowly float over to Samus as well. Her scans could show that the orb appeared to be Soul of a lifeform, or that the orbs were all from the same being at some point in time.

OOC: @Hatchy. For future reference, EMily can tell whether or not a material is conductive just from looking at the local electric fields. Conductors, like metals, expel electric fields from going inside them.
Oh wait, you must be referring to the orbs scanning Samus. My bad.


"All I see are thermal scans that look like those from flames. I guess it seems harmless enough that I can wave to it."
EMily made a wave to the orbs.
"Ummmm... hello?"

"These are all connected... They seem to be made of life energy..." Samus mused.

The orbs that were going to Samus stopped and spun around towards EMily. [color=3B9C9C]Oh Hello strange being![/color] All EMily would hear as a reply is "Merrrr" sound form the two orbs. [color=3B9C9C]Oh wait, still stuck in this form...communication might be difficult...[/color] the 2 orbs just flew up and down slowly as form of reply.

the one Near Samus flew around her quickly before stopping near her right shoulder. [color=3B9C9C]Finally! Some intelligence does exist in...wherever I am![/color] The orb would make a low humming noise as hovered.

"Hello there, my name is EMily." She bowed her head. "Do you have a name?"

Samus looked at the thing hovering at her shoulder, not really sure what to make of it.

The two orbs spun back and forth a few times while floating near EMily. [color=3B9C9C]EMily huh? well at least these people are nice enough to introduce themselves before they attack. My name is Serene, EMily. Well, your know my name soon....hopefully?[/color] The orbs gave a "Sereeee" reply.

The orb would shift the most round part of itself to stare back at Samus. [color=3B9C9C]What's the matter spaceman Sam? If you don't like this form then your not the only one. How long till someone dies again?[/color] The single orb gave a "Dessss" noise.
