We Are Our Avatars IX: Act V: The Sabotage of the Scandolous Saurian Scoundrels (Open)

[Gearhead mk2]

Joel and Vicky's slashes cut gahses in the legs, but the Gekko still stood. Having recovered from the EMP, it turned its guns on Joel and X9. It also shook the leg Vick was trying to climb.

Tavish would see a long tendril, similar to Bladewolfs tail, sneaking up from under the Gekkos head like a found. It grabbed at his stocky launcher, trying to rip it out of his hand.

 

[Slenn]

EMily fired an EMP at the second Gekko, seeing as how many people were on the first one and she could shock them with a lightning bolt. Also because she still needed to wait another round before firing an industrial laser.

Gwen took some of the metal garbage from the bin using a gravity lift and was able to find some leftover metal junk from automobiles. She flung it at Gekko 2.

Hiding behind the pillar, Sophia paused as she considered what to do. Her first instinct was to simply stick her head out and see where those giant robot things were. The obvious problem with that being if they were looking at her they'd just fire at her. So she stood there, looking forward at her... reflection? 'Wait a second..?' She thought as she slid lower down the pillar, still looking at the glass of the building. It was hard to make our, but she could see the gun and it wasn't pointed her way.

"Come on, even you have to be able to hit the broad side of a barn..!" She said to herself, getting the rocket launcher ready and aiming it near the turret area, seeing that it was now turning away to face Joel and X9. "GO ROCKET!!" She exclaimed as she pulled the trigger. (She's aiming at Gekko1)

The tendril easily took the weapon from Tavish's hand, and he let out a curse as he let go of the Eyelander in an attempt to grab it back.

Roland finished the tourniquet, but he had already started going into shock from the pain and lost blood, and was unable to reload his gun.

[color=003399]"I hope there's someone alive in there that I can fucking tear apart!"[/color] Joel yelled as he continued to hack at the Gekko's leg with the sword. He followed one slash up with a punch, which would transfer a large amount of heat directly into the leg.
Meanwhile, Riko had dispelled the speed wisps, and instead began playing a tune which created black, blindfold-shaped wisps. She sent them towards Gekko Two, and they would cloud its vision.

Mr Bug would see its mark standing on a rooftop nearby, however Jona began running away from the scene as firefighters began extinguishing the flames.

I focus on avoiding the gunfire for now. Not so difficult.

 

[Chungus]

Seeing Jona a few blocks away, the bug raised to its full height and took a few steps back. It considdered shooting Jona while he ran, but decided against it, not wanting to the draw the attention of the people trying to douse the flames. Lightly clacking its mandibles, the bug put its rifle back in its bag, then turned to the left and jumped to another foottop. From there, it began running towards Jona's position.

Leaping up, high, the bug took flight, climbing up to about twenty metres in altitude. Then, it banked to the right, circling around until it was behind Jona. Once behind him, the bug began diving towards Jona at roughly 160 kilometers per hour. When nearby enough to do so, the bug spread its wings again to break and aim to deliver a kick to Jona's back with its hind legs to send him careening off the rooftop, and into a wall. Wherther it would hit or miss, the bug would soar up again after kicking, not wanting to colide with a building itself.

Engineer continues with the firing of the sentry, as he hides behind cover to build a dispenser.
Medic began to run under Joel, healing him also.

The sectoid tried to see if it could tear into any animalistic mind it had.

Jona looked over his shoulder as the bug began its dive, faintly hearing the movement. Upon seeing the bug, Jona quickly turned on the spot and created a wall of flames between himself and his attacker. [color=ce2029]"Aww, are people trying to ruin my fun already?"[/color]

 

[Drakmorg]

The force of the Gekko shaking its leg while also getting hit with a rocket was enough to throw Vicky away as she lost hold of her blade and her claws were pulled out of the wound. She flew a decent distance and collided with an abandoned car, smashing against the door and denting it. Definitely gonna feel that later... She groaned as she slowly stood back up, her back hurting even more with additional bruises. She decided the first Gekko wasn't worth it anymore and tried her previous tactic with Gekko 2.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

The rocket hit the Gekko square in the head, sending it reeling back from the impact and making a large, crumpled dent in the armour.

Tavish would probably fall off the Gekko, unless he grabbed the Eyelander again real fast, especially considering how it thrashed from EMily's EMP and Gwen's debris hitting it's head, and the blindness spell Riko cast. Due to it stumbling around, Vicky would have a hell of q hard time climbing onto it.

Engineer;s sentry shot at the legs of the Gekko, causing it to stumble.

 

[Wackymon]

Medic, seeing Roland wounded, ran up to her to heal him also, healing him as quickly as he could.

 

[Outisakanobody]

Now that he's distracted, I'll keep shooting at him.

 

[Chungus]

Seeing Jona begining to look over his shoulder, the bug realised it had be spotted as Jona's eyes were moving towards it. It continued its dive for a second longer, until Jona turned and began generating the wall of flame. Seeing the flames spark up, with its slo-mo vision alerting it early, the bug spread its wings and banked to the side, evading colision with the fire.

Flying onwards, the bug flew about six meters away while flapping its wings to gain more altitude. It didn't imediately move to attack again, instead banking to the right, opting to what it hoped was making use of the cover the darkness provided. All the while, it kept its gaze fixed on Jona, waiting to see his next move.

Tavish did fall off of the Gekko, getting hit by a small piece of Gwen's debris as he fell. He somehow still managed to land on his feet, and tried jumping at the metal tendril that held his stickybomb launcher.

Roland summoned all of his willpower to focus on the task at hand, reloading by using his index finger to grab new bullets and load them into the cylinder.

 

[Zepherus14]

Seeing that the rocket managed to hit and seeing the robot start stumbling, Sophia threw her arms up in the momentary victory. "Wooo hoo!" However as Sophia saw that it didn't seem to be falling over as she'd hoped, her arms slowly lowered as she started running for a new spot to duck before the Gekko 1 could react to her again. "Crap crap crap crap!!" She shouted under her breath.

 

[Wackymon]

Seeing that Roland was more in need, Medic ran up to him and imidiately started healing him.

 

[Slenn]

EMily fired an industrial laser at the same leg as the one being attacked by Engineer's sentry.

Gwen found some iron rail spikes and fired at her Gekko's head at the speed of a highway car.

Jona sent the wall of flame into the air in a long jet, intending to illuminate the bug or possibly incinerate it.

Joel tried to cut open a hole in the Gekko's leg, then force his right arm inside it to heat the Gekko up from within.

Not having the strength to try and climb up the Gekko 2 as it thrashed about, Vicky focused on just hanging on, digging as deeply as she could into its legs with her claws and sword.
