"It's always nice when mad scientists are useful." Thinking about it, he does remind me of all those funny scientists Aku had working for him. Would have fit right in.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Yeah, because it's healed. What, you've never been injured before?"

She sighed and shut her left eye.

"I really don't like admitting that the lunatic managed to make one decent thing in his life. Makes my skin crawl."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"My apologies. I am not used to healing that leaves scars that visible."

Samus looked at X-9. "When we arrived there, there was a creature attacking Shara. A large, seemingly insectoid bioform. We fought and killed it."

 

[Kirke]

As you wake up, the first thing you notice is a pounding headache. You groan and open your eyes to see a metal roof. As you sit up, you struggle to recall what happened before you fell asleep. The fight in the hospital seem like a bad dream, but the tattered and singed state of the gown you are wearing show how very real it was.

 

[Wackymon]

Medic entered Shara's room.
"Ah, zhere you are. How are you?" he said, as he began to fiddle with a array of vials.

 

[Kirke]

You look over at the Medic, squinting in the light, and say all things considered, you feel way better than you should. You add that for the moment though, you're going to rest a little more.

OoC: Off for dinner, sorry Wacky.

Medic groaned, "Alright." he grumbled.

 

[Drakmorg]

Vicky held up her left hand again and pointed her thumb at Samus,

"Pretty much. Not a whole lot to tell."

[color= gray]"Any idea why it was there? Maybe the cyborgs are looking for revenge."[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"We don't know. Joel killed it before we could interrogate it."

 

[Outisakanobody]

[color= gray]"You expected the bug to talk?" [/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"It did speak English." Samus pointed out.

 

[Outisakanobody]

[color= gray]"Well, how about that. No ideas at all who's behind it?" [/color]

 

[Drakmorg]

"Badly."

Vicky pointed out to Samus.

"Also, it didn't look like it had any metal in it. Besides, even if it [i]was[/i] sent by them, thing's out of our hands, so no point in worrying about it."

[color= gray]"Seems like giving it a little thought might be the safer idea." [/color]

After a few minutes rest, you feel a little clearer in the head and you decide that you better head back to the hospital to get your gear, then try to find the wreck of your ship to see if it is repairable. Getting up, you fall over as soon as you take a step, but the second time you manage to stay on your feet. When you get outside, you realise you have no idea where you are or where the hospital is located. You stagger over to Vicky and greet her, squinting in the sunlight.

Sophia was still very much sleeping on the seat she'd been for the past few hours, slumped to the side as much as she could be given she was still wearing the tactical vest as well as the seat belt holding her in place.
