[color=edc393]"Here's a question."[/color] Sam began as he followed after Elm, idly glancing towards it. [color=edc393]"If we're taking time off kick back and relax while waiting to have our stuff repaired, won't we loose those people we're supposed to tail?"[/color]

"We aren't taking leave, only make time to have necessary repairs done." Elm corrected as it floated along. "But on the probability of losing our targets; Yes, it's likely that they'll have moved by the time we come back. But, if this global organization apprehends our targets. When we find XCOM, we'll find them."

Sam, for a moment, thought on asking what made Elm trust Shara's claims, but decided against it, not really caring for the reasoning behind it that much. Instead, he said, [color=edc393]"That reminds me. I never got chance to report my findings from when I went into town. Turns out that there's some agency other then this XCOM that're tracking outsiders, 'though they only track criminals, from what I gathered. I've got an audio recording of the talk that went on inside the building, but it's nothing groundshaking."[/color] Sam reported, then paused. [color=edc393]"What's more, this agency seemed to have a run-in with XCOM, or maybe an branch from it, I don't know. I also learned that two of our targets broke up from the rest, but I've no idea where they ran off to.

And that's the long and short of it."[/color]

Elm slowed down for a moment as it processed the information, then cotinued hovering at a steady pace, responding with, "Noted. I'll report this to command together with my own findings. Good job."

"Thank you. Good luck." Samus sat back down again, closing her eyes.

Seras decided she wasn't prepared to run into anyone on the way out, so she silently took a seat in the room.

With nowhere in the room to sit other than Samus' bunk, Seras found herself sitting next to the bounty hunter, who cracked open an eye to look at her. "Is something else wrong?" She asked.

"No, uh, sorry." Seras said as she went to sit on the floor.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"It's fine. I'm just used to being on my own."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"I know what you mean." Seras said as she twiddled her thumbs.

After recieving Shara's message, Dave acknowledged it, and opened the ships intercom, anouncing that the ship would depart for XCOM HQ after a few minutes, giving everyone time to wrap up what they were doing and get aboard. Dave would spend this time going through pre-flight routines, and after that, monitor the inexplicable, near-perpetual expansion of the ship.

Once everyone was onboard, Dave's sealed off the airlock, and lifted off. The ship would catch up to the Sworder before long, whereafter it followed at the same pace as it towards the destination.

[color=006d5b]"I just shoot cans when my family are out, with paintball guns. I don't think I'm legally allowed to do any of that other stuff."[/color] Matilda replied.

When Dave told everyone to get on board, she followed them into the ship, having nowhere else to go.

Several hours into the flight you are awoken by a message alert on your comm. unit. You groan as you look at the clock, noting that it's early in the morning. With a yawn you open the message, noting that it's from XCOM. It says that they have picked up on your course and that an escort will join you shortly. A few minutes later, a fairly fat ship and four slim interceptors close in. The fat ship, a troop transport you know as the Skyranger, falls into formation behind you on the opposite side from Dave's ship. This triangle formation is then augmented by the four interceptors taking position in front and behind, flying in pairs.

Samus, after resting for a bit, stepped out of her room. Feeling the ship moving, she headed to the cockpit, looking out at Shara's ship just ahead and the XCOM Skyranger and Interceptors flying alongside them.

'We had a skip to morning, so please get yourselves ready for some turbulence'

After talking with Victoria for a short time longer, Sophia eventually made her way back into the ship and got some dinner. She also decided to try the bath again, realizing she'd left the water everywhere from the first escape.

By the time that morning had rolled around, she was up and about. Although she was still uneasy about flying, the amount of time she'd been in it had eased that tension somewhat. This still wasn't enough for her to get a good night sleep however as the previous day's events had still taken a tole on her. Hearing the beeping, she followed along anxiously towards the cockpit, wondering what had happened.

Hearing from Dave at the helm, that it seemed like there were escort ships that were now flying with them, Sophia wasn't entirely sure whether to feel safer or more worried.

EMily and the others sat down in the kitchen of Dave's ship. Winona fixed up some sandwiches for the three of them to eat for dinner. EMily was feeling slightly better about the whole situation, and the sandwich helped her. There were many things she wanted to say to Shara when they touched down. One of them was an apology, stating that she should've taken things more morally instead of philosophically. The other was an explanation behind how she felt.

An electrical disturbance sound was made nearby the sisters. And then a bubble-popping sound. Standing at nearly 6 feet or 1.8 meters was Sara, in her chocolate and almond colored dress and apron. Her hair was a vibrant orange; making her an adorable tall ginger.

<color=brown>"It's been too long. I intend to win against the knights." Her spectacles glimmered in the fluorescent light of the kitchen. Winona cocked her head.
<color=green>"I don't know if a plasma-lit kitchen is the best place for a dramatic entrance."
<color=brown>"Well, it's not my fault that time travel makes a bubble popping sound upon arriving."
<color=green>"It sort of makes it anti-climactic if you ask me."

Soon afterwards the sisters retired for bed.

In the morning they got themselves ready. Gwen alerted the others that there was an approaching large mass. The others got dressed and ate bright and early.

During the journey, Matilda began wandering around the ship, creating a mental map of its interior.

Victoria didn't do much the night and following morning, only things worthy of note being quietly eating dinner and spending the rest of her time exercising.

About 10 minutes after the new ships arrived, the group would soon realize why they had gotten the extra forces. Far off to the west, a shining light could be seen heading quickly towards them. The remaining nine knights that had banded together for one last push. They were all in what looked like a sort of chariot/open caravan as the nine horses in front of them pulled them along, moving much faster than they had individually. The fire trail the horses left behind following behind them for quite a distance.

They were still a ways off, but it was quite evident that they were gaining on the squadron. If the interceptors turned to approach the knights, some of the knights would jump from the single unit to fight them off as the rest continued on towards there target.

Sophia stuck her nose up a little as she smelled someone new in the ship, wondering who it has. She however wouldn't have time to mention it as Dave noted the approaching knights, calling out a warning to everyone on the ship that things might be getting messy very quickly and to secure anything they had lying around.

 

[Slenn]

<color=purple>"More incoming masses." Gwen said.

Sara and the sisters took a gander out the window after Gwen and Dave alerted them. She turned her right hand over her right ear. It wasn't long before Sara issued orders to her sisters.
<color=brown>"Schrødinger. Start recording. I'll be maintaining my vision on the knights."

A voice sounded near Sara's ears.
<color=silver>"Understood Sara. I've prepared the visual data on the previous battle with the knights for the court."

<color=brown>"Excellent. The people will see that they are the ones attacking first if they do. Gwen and EMily, watch for metals and incoming masses."

 

[Chungus]

Ariving where they needed to be, Sam began undoing the locks on his armour with the help of a mechanic to get it done quicker, while Elm stopped by the door and relayed what it and Sam found out prior to capturing Victoria to the command center. Once all the locks on the armour were disengaged, Sam stepped out of the armour, revealing him to wear a plain black two-piece bodysuit underneath. The left sleeve of the suit was stretched slightly, it carrying the severed arm, the sight of this wierding out the mechanic, who tried their best not to show it.

Being told that Elm would be notified when the repairs were complete, Sam removed the sheathed sword from the hip of the suit, and left the suit with the mechanic, and approached Elm. [color=edc393]"Alright. So, where to now?"[/color]

"I have contacted Ultri. He'll be able to see us later today, but it'll still be a while until he's ready. We've some time to spare." Elm answered.

[color=edc393]"I'd say I'd like to kill the time with a drink, but I don't feel thristy."[/color] Sam responded. [color=edc393]"Never realised how boring things would get without the basic needs being there."[/color] He added in a matter-of-fact-ly manner.

Elm was quick to respond with, "I couldn't give any input on the matter, naturally."

[color=edc393]"Naturally..."[/color] Sam repeated dryly. [color=edc393]"Well, let's go do something. No point in standing around, here."[/color]

OoC: I'll make one last post before sleeping...

You notice an anomaly behind you, and a closer look shows it to be the knights approaching. You alert the XCOM escort, and they tell you to hold course and speed until further notice. The two front interceptors turn sharply around the sides of the formation, flying towards the knights. They attempt a missile lock, but to not fire as their orders are to dissuade the knights from advancing. You doubt it will work, and as such you decide to prepare for some highly unusual combat. You let the autopilot continue as you run backwards in your ship. From a closet in the wall, you grab a vacuum-sealed suit, helmet and jetpack. For some added protection, you equip your armour-vest on top of the suit.

In the Skyranger, the four soldiers ready themselves for combat. How to fight in air against flying opponents however, is not something their training has gone through, and they all seem fairly nervous about the potential fall, even with parachutes.

Seeing the knights approach, Samus armoured up, heading to the hatch of the ship.
