For lack of anything better to pass the time, Elm took Sam around a brief tour of the upper three levels of the base, wherein it explained what purpose the sections were dedicated to. "There is more to see, but this is all we have time for." Elm stated, turning to Sam.
Sam to a moment to reflect on the various strange machinery and various aliens, both humanoid and near-to-completely incomprehensible, he had seen, settling on saying; "This place is wierd..." with a disbelief seeping into his usual dry tone. "Anyway, let's get going then."
Elm turned away from Sam, and after going through the required motions, opened a portal to the morgue Sam had brought one of the knights to, earlier. After Sam stepped through, Elm hovered through itself, keeping the portal open this time. On the other side, Sam looked around, seeing everything still looked the same from the last time he was in the space. 'guess no one's been here since my last visit. he thought as he went to sit on a empty autopsy table, needing to look over his shoulder to see where he was moving to while doing so.
Once seated, Sam took off the top half of the body suit, laying it besides him, with the severed arm still inside the sleve. He noticeably grimacing when he saw the stump that was his left shoulder. The stumped showed dry, flesh. Coupled with the lack of bloodstains on the bodysuit, it was evident Sam's body had been drained of blood.
