"A little more indeed." Dromaeus remarked, sipping from his beer, his lips peeling back at the bitter taste.

"Well, since we are sharing information on our respective powers, I will let you have this much more. My name is Dromaeus of Black Marsh. I did not come to this world of my own free will, but by some sorcery unknown to me. Though I was captured by a human of great power, greater than any mage- I suspect he may in fact have been a powerful Daedra- I was released from my chains by another human, who I have not seen since then. I went with his allies to seek vengeance on my captor, but his power proved to great even for me, so I was forced to retreat. I came here, and now you know my story."

"Ya good luck with that, I think I'm going to have a nice vacation back in the 2D plane, where I can't die. Joe, the guy that can never die, remember." Joe looked over at Rugal with a cheeky smile.

The Merc replied "You can call me the Merc. It's obviously not my name, but it may as well be. I think this is my world, but I can't be sure. Haven't met any others I know. I doubt you're the best person to fact-check with..."

Preginald teleported to the top of Alek's war machine and was manually operating the doomsday laser.
"Oh just shut up and die you long winded bastard."
Preginald fired The Doomsday Laser and hit Rugal, completely annihilating his physical form, leaving only a black, vaguely Rugal-shaped stain on the concrete.

Dromaeus's tail flicked again as the Merc refused the courtesy of providing his own name, but decided it was not worth speaking of.

"You would surely know if you had traveled here from another world. It is not a pleasant journey, nor one that is difficult to recognise for what it is."

"Oh and while you're in hell, say hi to Peppermint Butler for me, thanks." Joe #666 whispered to Rugal.

OOC: I just love that this nonsensical statement is the last thing Rugal heard.

Joel watched as Rugal was destroyed. "OKAY! We need to get off this island. Over there is Sodegaura, and Dromaeus is probably already there. We need to find him. Take those speedboats. Reno, Rude and I will clean up here, and then we'll get in the feds."

During his hunt Swiftrunner heard a large noise and turned around to investigate. He arrived in time just to see Rugal hit dead on by the giant machines great weapon. Swiftrunner couldn't help but let out a howl of delight at the sight.

Standing on the beach was Joel and the great machine but Swiftrunner couldn't bring himself to attack. Instead a soft, feminine voice sounded through his head.

"Swiftrunner" It called.

Confused he returned to the tower.

OOC: If I do bring the character im thinking of in whatever side he is on will be OP so im gonna try and find another character for now but I'm gonna finish Swiftrunners story off but he will still be relevant to the plot at some point so I've got quite a nice ending worked out.

"I know what a sellsword does for a living, Merc." Dromaeus hissed. "There are many ways in which one can be hired to fight, and many ultimate tasks one is asked to fight for. That is what I asked about."

Kazuya walked over to his master's remains and picked up Rugal's Bionic Eye.
"So it's over...About time...hehehe"
He took his Red Eye and Put Rugal's in it's Place.
"...For a new Master..."
Kazuya walked into the coming Night to begin his own Story and rise to Power...

The Merc responded "You asked what I'm currently fighting for. At the moment, I am still open for hire. I have no ultimate tasks. What are you fighting for, Dromaeus? You aren't of this world, and the only large conflicts are in the Middle East."

The doors slam open in the bar. "Well there was a rather large battle just off the coast here, I'm surprised you didn't notice it." Joe walks into the bar. "Hey bar-keep I'd like to have a glass of orange juice." The bar keeper had seem everything that night; lizardmen, mercs, and now a 2D man.

"Here you go" he said to Joe.

Dromaeus considered the question.

"I have little to fight for in this world. My quest for vengeance has already ended badly. I fight for wealth too, but I do not believe I will fit in well in this world, and so it is no use to me. I would prefer to return to Tamriel, but I do not know how to do that. Perhaps if I discover a way, then I will fight for it. As of now though..." he stopped, completely unsure of what he could do in this world.
