Alek shrugged. "Maybe he was bored. I've long since stopped trying to understand why Joel would want to do anything he does."

"No. I don't at least. If you stick with us your bound to come across him at some point." Will said.

 

[Arrogancy]

"Joel has resources, a LOT of resources." Alek said, starting to walk away from the now quite blazing building. "I didn't see where he went after our fight with Rugal, he could be anywhere."

"Ya for all we know he could be standing right beside us." Joe looks around with squinty eyes.

"I have no objections. Welcome aboard." Will said.

OOC: God it's hard to be creative when it's this late.

"I'm fine with that." Alek said in agreement. "We'll need more forces to break Joel."

Preginald introduces himself, "Glad to have you with us Hunter. I'm Preginald by the way, Preginald DSington, Dimensional Explorer, Automaton Extraodinaire and Killer of Gods. I suggest we reconvene at a place where Joel can't get to us. I have just the place in mind. Everyone climb into my hover-bus." Preginald hops into the driver seat of his golden hover-bus with the blood-stained bumper.

Addressing Hunter, "I am a product of our great and all-knowing lord The Creator, if you simply must know. And we must leave here post-haste. No telling when Joel might realize his little bomb didn't kill anybody and will try some other attempt to end our lives."

"I'm not scared! Just wanted to set the mood. Preginald, do you have in flight peanuts?"

Will was getting a little irritable by this point, mostly due to lack of sleep or proper sustenance. He draped his arm over Hunter's shoulder and began moving them both toward the bus. "Hunter...what did I say about those kinds of questions?"

OOC: I signing off. If stuff starts to happen, just assume Will is sleeping on the bus.

Alek grabbed his bag and threw it on the bus. It was curious, Alek thought. The robot had shown little interest in other people, and routinely spoke of its plans to conquer some area or other, or just kill people. And yet, it was consistently more helpful than, and far morally superior to, Joel. Although, on reflection, that really wasn't saying terribly much. Alek took a chair, and within a minute was fast asleep.

With everyone loaded into the hover-bus, Preginald starts it up and heads for New Zealand.

OOC: Everyone else is leaving so that's it for me.

The Merc left the inn, spraying water at the flames as he went. He emerged, and watched the others climb onto the gold bus. He followed, and sat down. "So... does anyone know why the bomb went off?"
