Alastair had lost sight of the man and saught out help and assintance and seeing a inn on fire and a veichle near it. He knocked on the veichles door. "Hello? Anyone there? My name is Alastair"

4 Hour Ago: Alastair watched the man enter the portal room and shut the doors behind him and was scared out of his mind when a massive hole in the universe opened behind him making him stumble. He ran away to the nearest inn he could find. Seeing one in the distance he nodded and cliped his weapons to his belt and back.

1Am: Alastair was tired and hungry opening the door to the inn hearing humping noises made him want to puke. "Bottle of......Guiness?" He questioned he was award a bottle. "Can i have some of those crisps?" He asked. Happily he ate without a moan. Alastair heard someone being mugged outside.He hastily ran to protect the lady in distress. "look man i dont know who you are but i have ahd a realy long day you dont want to mess with me!" Alastair threatnd the Mugger. Resting after the rescue (not getting a thank you)he slept on a nearby clearing in the bush's. On hearing the explosion he heard a man screaming and fire being doused. He flinched and fainted at the sight before him.

Eragon saw the strange flying bus depart and gave chase. He should have taken his chance there but it didn't feel safe to talk to the heros there and he would follow them until they arrived a more secure location. If Joel attacked again Eragon would step in this time, hed watched for long enough.

Alastair was left alone the bus had departed. He saw a strange man behind him. "Hello my good fellow. What is your name?" The man just pushed alastair aside and chased the bus but alastair rode a mount tied to a tree ( Yeah the thing he saw in last post was a soldier on fire with a horse) And gave chase to the bus. He just managed to grip the emergency exit and opened the door already seeing the reptile and a talking contraption in a top hat he saw new faces among them was the man he had saw earlier.

OOC: Its a hover bus, flying thousands of feet up.

Dromaeus watched the scenery from the window of the bus as it flew. He could see little detail of the land below, but could track the shape of the coastline as they passed. Looking at the horizon, he saw that it appeared strangely curved here. He had seen the phenomenon once before, from the Throat of the World, and made a mental note to try and find out what caused it.

The bus began to ascend. "Risa!" shouted Eragon and he rose up to the flying bus and grabbed onto the back of it before using his great strength to pull himself onto the roof before using magic once more. "Sitja" he commanded to root himself to the top of the bus while it soared through the air.

The Merc heard a thump on the roof. "Who's there!" he yelled, drawing his sword and handgun.
Julia looked up as well. "It could be Joel..." she announced, now seeming worried.

 

[Random berk]

Dromaeus smirked as the sounds on the roof drove some of the others to alarm. He was confident that if anyone tried to cut their way in, he could sent them on a long fall back to earth with a single Shout.

Once firmly aboard the machine Eragon breathed deeply. Holding onto the the edge of the bus he swung down the side and looked at the heroes through the glass. He held a hand up to the glass and said "Jeirda" shattering the glass and allowing him entrance. He looked at the heroes as they readied their weapons and raised his shining palm up in a gesture of peace. "Rest assured I am not here to kill you" He said. "Your minds are inadequetly shielded at best and it would only take me a word" He unpinned his cape to let it fall to the floor and let the heroes see him without any disguise.

The Merc ignited his blade and raised it. "Who are you, and why are you here."

Eragon turned to the merc and drew his own sword, a shining blue hand and a half sword, and set "Brisingr" Blue fire leapt across the blade and continued to do so. He kept his sword burning thus as he said "I am Eragon Shadeslayer, Shur'tugal and Argetlam. I came to this world to find someone very precious to me and I know you have a problem with a villain." He extinguished the magic of his sword and sheathed it once more before looking at the rest of those arrayed on the bus.

The Merc sheathed his own sword, and raised a hand. "Call me the Merc. By 'villain' I assume you mean Joel Calley?"

"Joel?...yes he seems to be the villain for now while you are the heroes for now." Eragon sat down on one of the benchs. "I tend not to get involved...I broke the rules and any time I intervene, The Library gets closer to finding me..." Lets see if they've realised this much by now thought Eragon before sitting back in the bench.

"Alright Mr. The Swordsman, I have a quick question to ask, WHY THE HELL should we really believe that? We were already up in the air, you deliberately fly up to us, smash your way in and think everything is all better... Weren't you the same guy that came up to us last night and then just walked away when Alek confronted you?" Joe shouted at Eragon.

"I almost got glass in my eyes!"

Julia looked up. "Last night? How do we know he didn't plant the bomb! Check him for Joel's mark!"

Turning to Joe Eragon said "Eka aí fricai un Shur'tugal" Noticing the confusion Eragon side "I'm a rider and friend." These people had obviously never encountered the ancient language before. "It is impossible to lie when speaking in the Ancient Language, I may tell only a fraction of the truth but I can never lie." Eragon explained.

Joe looks at The Merc. "I don't swing that way dude." said Joe. "And I'm still a minor!" Omega popped out from the back of Joe's head.

The Merc cocked his gun. "So how do we know what you're saying?"

Eragon realised the conundrum also. "I'll speak in the ancient tongue only when necassary and when I do I'll translate my self unless you would just want me to speak directly to your minds?" This was as good as solution as any to the trust issue for now, Eragon would come up with a long term solution in time.

The Merc leapt onto Eragon and pinned him down. "Take his clothes off, so we can check him!"

Joe sat there, quite surprised at the actions of the Merc. He had been so cool, calm and collected. And now he was nearly tearing the clothes off of Eragon.
