As the fire ended Eragon saw air and fire coming towards him. Holding up his arm to the gust of air he said "Thrysta Vindr" Compressing the air fired at him and firing the highly dense ball of air back at the Merc, turning to the fireball he said "Brisingr, iet tauthr" and the fireball ceased to fly towards him and instead followed Eragon as he charged the Merc. At the mention of his swords true name Brisingr set alight also, covering the blade in a blue flame and illumintating the room saphire, it wouldn't matter if his blade was dulled now. With a motion he directed the fire following him to fly towards the Merc and as the merc dodged Eragon leapt like a panther over him and regained his footing perfectly. Bringing Brisingr above his head he swung viscously at the Merc before stopping the blade inches before his flesh. He ended the magic on his sword and said "You would do well not to push me." He sheathed his own sword and turned away from the Merc and began to walk away.
