OOC: Speaking of Matt, I've been wondering. What would his views on Joel's mad plans for- whatever he's actually planning- be? Does he know about it and support it? Would he merely be complacent in his devotion? Or are his moral values generally better than Joel's?TrilbyWill said:

Well, Matt started out fairly against Joel's plans. But post-Concession he's pretty okay with Joel's insane plans.Random berk said:

"Even if we find Joel," Alek said, sending three stromwalkers to flank several Darwinist wolf-beasts, "How are we going to kill him? He might not be as powerful as Rugal, but he fought Rugal twice and survived. I'd rather not fight him without at least as much firepower as we had when we took out Rugal."
The Merc turned to Alek. "Question: have any of you actually tried to kill him? Did Rugal ever hit him? For all we know, he could die from bullets to the face."

I do not know how effective I can be in this world, but if I can get within striking distance of Joel, I have the skills to slay him without being noticed. I will help if I can. If he is mortal, then he cannot keep his eyes on every high vantage point, every shadowy recess."

"Joe can't die," Alek recounted, never breaking focus from his models, "I was behind a monolithic war machine, Preginald spent most of the fight elsewhere, Dromaeus was sneaking across the battlefield, and I believe Alastair fought him briefly, but didn't do very well. Rugal was almost a god, at least he claimed as much. We just wore him down until we could kill him."
"Wait, so an immortal, a war machine and a stealth warrior were all fighting this god. What did Joel do, and did he actually get hit? Because it sounds like Joel was doing fuck all."
