The Merc stroked his chin. "Got it. We just need to get him into a place where I can snipe him. To do that... we need to track him."

"It might work." Alek said, becoming more engaged in the conversation. "However, that doesn't negate the fact that we still need to find Joel. Even if he can be killed so easily, and I'm still not convinced he can, it means nothing unless we can find him before he finds us. My preference would be for an ambush. We lure Joel to a location we have the advantage on, and bring him down there. Easiest way."

Dromaeus smiled at Julia, a mere twitch of his lips that did not reveal his teeth.

"Then we must simply attack him when he is at his most vulnerable, and we must not give him a chance to react. Finding him, however, is the difficult part. I do not know how we could do this." He looked at Alek.

"Joel would likely expect trouble if we attempted to lure him. We should attack him where he lives. The best way to steal the life of a dangerous target without him ever noticing is to get him while he sleeps."

Julia replied "He's incredibly vulnerable when he's high."

"An ambush would be the most viable choice, instead of chasing him all around the globe. Is there anything we could use to draw him too us?" Will asked.

"He does seem to care about that Matt fellow, if we could locate him we could easily use him as bait to lure Joel to us. Of course the problem there is that we don't know where Matt is either."

"That shouldn't be too difficult." Alek commented, "Joel seems to get high quite frequently."

Eragon entered the conferance room late. He refused the chairs and instead perched up against the wall with his arms crossed. "Joel is difficult." said to the suprise of everyone in the room as they didn't see him enter. "I followed him and Rugal extensively but never got involved." He continued. Eragon looked out though the room before saying. "One thing I know is similair about them both is that they have both been to the Library." The library was the only thing Eragon knew about what worked beyond this world and what was after him.

"You keep talking about this library," Alek commented, "What is it, precisely? You talk about it as though it's a sentient being and a location. Which is it? And, more importantly, why is it relevant?"

Dromaeus rubbed the spikes over his eyes with three fingers, shaking his head as he did so.

"You might just be able to do that, Joe."

"I can assist you in tracking him, once we get to the correct region." He said to Merc and Hunter. "Though I cannot travel as you do, in your flying machines, I have the knowledge to seek him out of a crowd, in a large area."

"He lives in Massachusetts. And he won't let Matt out of his sight. But then... we need to make sure NOTHING that could cause mass grief happens. Miranda may be involved. Oh, and Joe. A 'bad story' for us would be nothing compared to Joel's childhood."
