"It's still an interesting ability." Useful too, Mat thought. If the Joes could go through portals like Rand, then they could make excellent scouts, the little one, Omega, especially. It would be difficult to find a spy who was essentially invisible at a certain angle. Mat stopped, he really needed to stop doing that. "I'm still curious about this Alduin." Mat said, addressing Dromaeus. Soldiers fight wars, and knowledge wins battles. It was an ancient maxim, one he remembered from two and a half thousand years ago.

Finishing halfway through the second level of Rimgar Eragon returned to the group. He saw Thom and once again couldn't feel his mind at all. He approached and said "Hello again Thom, if its not too much trouble can I ask you something?"

"Alduin was the Lord of the Dragons. He was the greatest of all of them, and it was prophesised that unless a Dragonborn challenged and defeated him, that he would consume and destroy the world. For a time, he and his horde controlled Tamriel, and they ruled without mercy or compassion. Then the mortals rose up under the leadership of the first dragonborn, and after a great war, they banished Alduin hundreds of years into the future. Over time, all his dragons were hunted down and slain. For centuries, it was thought that they were gone forever.

In my time, Alduin returned. He summoned his dead comrades, and they returned to the skies once more. I, however, learned the secrets of the Dovahkiin of old, and defeated Alduin in battle. He fled, and I chased him to Sovngarde itself. It was there that I finally destroyed him once and for all." Dromaeus noticed Eragon approaching.

"Does that satisfy your curiosity?"

"Joel you're an idiot, Joe's universe was a cartoon violence universe, developed just enough to have characters to fight each other. It's progressed over the years, but the concept of love, although known to exist, never really was introduced..." Omega was quickly realizing why Joe snapped back there, Joel was a jerk.

Noticing Eragon had begun what looked like a set of yoga, Takashi decided he'd put his thoughts away. He went over to Eragon and gestured towards him to say 'Can I join you?'

((OOC: At the moment, I'm trying to find something to do with Takashi since not a whole lot is happening and it might be forever before I can properly introduce his end of the plot))

OOC: Sorry, just finished doing the Rimgar but you can still ask Eragon about it.

Mat listened to Dromaeus's tale. It was interesting, but odd. Apparently he was saying that dragons were real and this Alduin was a lord among them. Return to the skies? That part still made no sense, dragons couldn't fly. He was about to ask more about dragons and Alduin, when Eragon asked him something. "Yes?" Mat asked, "Eragon, right? What do you need?"

Takashi nodded the whole time as he listened to Dromaeus' story. He then turned to Eragon as he approached. "Oh, I just remembered. Do you have a moment to... Search my memories?"

OOC: This is awkward, I have to go, and I can't think of a way out of this conversation with Eragon. Could someone help me out please? I'd very much appreciate it.

"Forgive me if this sounds odd but I am unable to sense your mind, I was just wondering if you had recieved training in defending your mind as it is a rare talent to come across in this world." Eragon was keen to have an answer, he had always loved discovering interesting things and strange occurences.

The young boy from earlier had approached and reminded Eragon of his promise to search his mind. He turned away from Thom, who had seemed hesitant to answer his question and said "Of course but I warn you; even if I try to be as gentle as possible the experience will be quite painful and you may glimpse some of my memories. " As he said this Omega had begun shouting at him about his poem. "You don't strike me as a person who would like poetry." He said awkwardly. He knew where this was going.

OOC: this should cover the situation for now.

The conversation between Eragon and Takashi reminded Dromaeus of his exercise in mind shielding, and as carried out their business he pulled a coin purse from his satchel and began counting the coins while focusing on a single Dragon priest's mask, Krosis.

"There's a book in my satchel, Pirate King of the Abecean." he muttered absently. "It may be to your liking Joe."

Omega looked over at the towering book, well over his height. "Thanks Dromaeus." Omega jumps down from Vagabond's hand, walks over to Dromaeus, and grabs the book sitting down just under his feet.

Takashi nodded. "At the moment, I feel this is best. I don't know what happened that I ended here in this time, place, and so on. I figured perhaps if someone saw for themselves, they could explain it to me. I just want to know what's going on."

Alastair was streching outside a shop. "Oh! My back!" He was getting old. Way old too do this. He is a man of 29 yes but war had done its blow on Alastair. Espically when the Elves shot through his village. Sofia was trying to start a exchange of words with Joel. "So Joel, Do you like a womans touch?" She grimmaced.
