At the signal of the boy, Eragon let his conciousness spill outwards towards his mind. Undefended, Eragon entered. Unlike his other companion where he subconciously learned such things as names, intentions and recent memories from the edge of their mind, Eragon began exploring the inner recesses of the boys mind. He was as careful as possible but he would occasionaly feel a twitch of pain as he poured over his memories. The memories were damaged however as something had mentally scratched them, tore them apart and scattered them to be hidden even from Takashi. He glanced over fragments and tried to piece together what had happened to the boy. Once again the memory of his arrival in this world was scarred but Eragon had pieced something together from other incomplete thoughts. Takashi, like Saphira, had been brought here against his will for some purpose, which meant they were likely brought here by the same thing that he believed was controlling all the arrivals in this world: The Library.
As that was the only thing he believed noteworthy he withdrew from Takashi's mind to find that the experience had driven the boy to the floor. "You...were brought here by something, something I believe had took my dragon also." He said finally. "For what purpose I know not but all the same, you did not elect to come here, nor did you accidently travel here...you were taken here."
