OOC: A bit of action wouldn't go astray. Be sure to make it a big attack though, not just a gang of Russian commandoes who show up and decide to have a go at us for no reason.

Planes flew overhead, and troops began parachuting out all over New York. Police officers attempted to subdue them, but were mowed down, even before they landed near the shuttle.
"Everyone surrender or we will kill you!" one yelled, aiming his rifle at Shepard. Each person had a gun trained on them.

OOC: Mat's gonna be the antagonist isn't he, I'm just waiting for anything really maybe some chance for an epic fight and Delta squad seems a tad morally ambiguous so I forsee conflict with them but perhaps serious next time.
The group was surprised at the apearance of planes in the sky, but recovered and reached for their weapons by the time the troops hit the ground. Shepard froze as a soldier pointed his assault rifle at her and barked an order. Then she smiled.
"It'll take more than that to subdue me." she said, before drawing her M-6 Carnifex hand cannon. The soldier fired a shot, but it struck Shepard's kinetic barrier and fell to the ground, leaving only a mild ripple. Shepard fired a fraction of a second later and the slug, travelling at only slightly less than the speed of sound, passed straight through the Russian's skull and hit another soldier a few paces behind him. As they fell, she kicked over the table she had been sitting on to use as cover. Garrus rushed inside, appearing on the second floor with his sniper rifle a few seconds later. Tali broke off the conversation with Epsilon and activated her combat drone.

When the first shot fired, Upsilon, Nu and Kappa launched into the air and followed the planes, shooting the paratroopers down.

"Here, hold this little guy." Travis handed Omega the pie box. Turning to the soldier with his gunned trained on him, Travis said, "Buddy, you picked the wrong guy to fuck with today." In one fluid motion Travis drew and powered on his sword with such speed that the soldier had no time to react before having his head sliced off. Travis then dove behind some nearby cars to avoid a volley of gunfire directed at him.
Eragon slid out of sight of the attackers. The action had brought him back to reality and he drew his sword to peek out at the fight starting before him.
Shepard switched to her Locust submachine gun and leaned out over the table, the long ranged, powerful SMG taking down a number of soldiers. Its low ammo capacity prevented her from mowing down a cluster of troops who tried to charge her, so instead she reached out her left hand, glowing blue. A rift in the air appeared, creating a vaccuum in that space, and sucked the soldiers up into it. They were thrown around like ragdolls, smashing violently into each other again and again, before being hurled back to the ground where they landed on several other troops. In the restaurant, Garrus fired a shot up at the descending paratroops. The windows frosted over as the supersonic slug from the rifle created a small scale sonic boom, and one of the soldiers jerked, then hung limply in his harness.
"There must be hundres of them!" he shouted, seeing the vast number of parachutes dropping all around the city.

Will was trying to pick off soldiers with his rifle when Travis appeared behind the same car as him. This drew a large amount of gunfire toward them. Laying down under the car, Will began shooting soldiers in the legs then finishing them off when they were on the ground.
"WE'RE ON IT!" Upsilon yelled at Garrus, smashing the soldiers into one another and beating them down in midair.

Joe knocks the guy with the glasses into a wall, as it crumbles he makes a break for the 4th wall. As he climbs through his head peaks out of Will's pocket. "Oh hi there Will, so what's going on?" Joe looks around, unable to see the army behind the car.
Eragon had made his way to a group of soldiers taking up advanced positions to fire on Shepard, Will, Travis and Delta. Quick as a flash he cut them down before leaping towards the largest group of soldier who were now approaching. His wards deflected bullets that he could not dodge and he made his way close to the group and set about killing the men, flowing from man to man, his blue blade flashing and cleaving his attackers apart. He hoped his visible display would give the others time to deal with the vast amount soldiers pouring at them. "Thrysta Vindr" He said after dispatching the last of a squad, and he flung the ball of compressed air into a group of men scattering with the highly dense pocket of air. "Theres too many for me to kill with magic. " He reported with his mind to his allies as he charged another large group of men.
OOC: I'm off too work. Eragon's just gonna fuck shit up until the attackes over then he'll meditate, hes a tad unstabe due to being apart from Saphira which the explanation I'm using as to why he is being so violent.

Will saw Joe's head poke out of his pocket, so he grabbed him and pulled him out. "We're under attack." He said as he showed Joe the soldiers.
Joe looks at the army, and grabbed the green from the car they were hiding behind. "Didn't we just deal with a bunch of soldiers already?" Joe runs up, and over the car, spinning his sword more like a staff from the middle, making it look more like a circle then a line.

Shepard took a number of bullets, but all were stopped by her kinetic barrier. The barrier was starting to use up a lot of its charge though, so Shepard ducked again. She switched to the M-100 grenade launcher, popping up and firing a shot. It made a hollow pop as the grenade was ejected from the barrel, then a loud explosion as the grenade arced into the enemy lines, causing chaos, death and severe wounds.
Travis turned to William, "You ready for this Will? I'm going in!" Travis rushed out from behind the car and ran towards a group of soldiers. Running in a zig-zag he dodged most of the bullets and blocked the few that threatened to hit him with his sword. As he reached the group he began cutting them down swiftly. Some of the soldiers drew knives but Travis simply dodged around their attacks or overpowered them when they tried to block.
